Flaws S.M.A.R.T

Hello

First of all, I want to tell you that my English is not very good, but I'll try my best.

I have an iMac 21.5 "bought mid-2014, so I have this thing around 2 years.

I think that its slowly works more slowly and that programs take a long time to load.

I wanted to give him a clean install and I copied my important documents to a USB port.

I rebooted my mac and pushed the buttons: 'CMD + R', I deleted the entire disk "Macintosh HD" and I went to "install Mac OS X".

But he was (translated from Dutch) 'there are S.M.A.R.T - errors on this drive. This disc has a hardwareproblem that is not repairable... ».

So I can't reinstall Mac OS X, I tried to repair the disk, but it changed nothing.

It happened with my iMac, I did not fall, so I don't know what can be the fault on this drive.

Is their dose or anything else I can do to fix this?

Please let me know.

Greetings, Johannes

Buy a new hard drive. Or, if you have Applecare, take the service and have the disc replaced free of charge.

I hope that you had a backup.

With the previous version of IOS, 9.3.4 I had an ongoing problem with my 'home' button does not.  I tried to clean the key, etc..  I've done all the fixes mentioned in the line.  Nothing has worked - I had to press the Home button for a few seconds for him to work.  I did the general > accessibility > AssistiveTouch fix - and that place a soft-Home-button on my home screen.  So it's been a temporary solution.

Then I installed iOS 9.3.5 as soon as it came out, and the problem disappeared.  The original ' Home' on the device button worked as good as when it was new. I interpreted this as meaning that the hotfix in 9.3.5 set some hole/leak memory existed in 9.3.4 that messed up my Home button.

Then, today-, he started the same problem.  No new apps installed.  Just same daily use.

I can't find anything about it online - anyone have a similar experience?

While the home button activate some software, it is a piece of hardware and a physical button. The button may fail, or works intermittently. If you continue to have problems with the home button, you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar in the Apple store nearest to reviewing. There is no security breach that would cause the Home button to stop working, and the fix for the flaw, Apple has released it patched.

find it hard to imagine that Apple could sell these defective products.

If the seller is an authorized Apple reseller, an independent company,

You may need to ask you if you could see & try a different product sample

because you might be looking at something that has a defect.

{According to the related help page, Type position should be more

    stable to use. However if the keyboard is not flat, this sounds like default.}

Sounds as if you're not at the official Apple Store (apple retailer)

but, on the contrary, are somewhere else. Could you give more information?

Some keyboard accessories are made by third party companies; so

If the product has an Apple product model number, we note here.

When considering the purchase of an accessory, it's a good idea to test

and check in the store before you buy. An official Apple Store has

a different return policy as an independent reseller of Apple.

Don't know if I can be useful; These chat rooms are usually Apple

users of products such as yourself, who have taken their unpaid time

to see if they can help the other users of the product.

    Good luck...!

  • I found flaws in all of the calendars and the scientific calculators of Apple products. How can I send you my report pages 20 as a matter of course. Who should I go. This is a real case, and I am willing to work with Apple on this issue.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Topic: Default in some Apple products (important issue).

This is not an unsolicited idea or suggestion (Please read)

First of all, allow me to introduce myself as a teacher of mathematics, with more than 20 years of experience in the teaching of mathematics in Jordan.

I take the liberty to write to you on a very delicate issue regarding the above topic. I'll try to be direct and fertilizers to point.

Eight months ago, I have established contacts with the customer at Apple and succeeded to in explaining my intention to work with Apple on the flaws I found in all the following Apple products:

-Scientific calculators built into the Apple iPhones and other products like Mack book pro (13 keys/operators applying bad mathematical concepts).

-Calendars integrated into Apple iPhones and iPads (after a certain date).

-Most of the calculators downloaded on Apple iPads (application).

With my main concern during the final user, I already have reports submitted to Apple on the six keys with solid evidence and evidence supported with excerpts from various reliable resources that are no doubt as to the failure of these keys. I also presented copies of the date on which the calendar goes off track.

Now iPhones for new generation of Apple (6s and 6 s-Plus) have already been launched on the market, keeping the same flaws, I decided to start contacts with Apple once again, hoping to succeed in reaching the right people at Apple to continue my rage in finding that the right to address this issue. I hope that you will respond positively.

My worries and concern are oriented towards the end user and, in particular, students who take the responses of these calculators for granted when they are wrong and they don't realize.

I have prepared a 20 page report although detailed on these defects and how to correct function solid evedence of reliable math textbooks. I'm ready to send this report to the person/department concerned, on which they can check and verify my claim with any or all of the following:

    ·       Apple/mathematicians engineers.

    ·       The mathematics books that are published by well known/good reputation

    publishers.

    ·        Calculators Casio or TI as the most reliable calculators in the world.

    ·        Reliable sources of mathematics of the internet.

    ·        Presentations power point math on YouTube.

.        Math teachers well known working in renowned universities

    ·        American Mathematical Society.

I reiterate my willingness to cooperate on the question above so that the genetions coming Apple products will be free by all means!

I look forward to your positive reply,

    Sincerely,

    Nael

  • Need information about the data included in the example for the inner race with flaws

    Hello

There are several examples for fault detection in bearing (Vibration tool sets). I need more information about these data include:

    -Bringing its specifications

    -How to perform data acquisition

    -a link to the tutorial

I came across this manual that shows how to use OATS envelope detection VI to perform detection of failures of bearings.

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/372416A-01/svtconcepts/cst_speed_brg/

It lists the specifications of turnover:

    • Inch diameter 0,2813

    • Primitive diameter: 1,1228 inch

    • Speed: 1 234 RPM

It also goes to the list of characteristic frequencies determined by these attributes.

The data acquisition is carried out by the use of an accelerometer and a tachometer. These devices measure the vibration and the rotation speed of the bearing data. Failure detection uses a method called detection of the envelope to look at the signals of the bearing and compared to signals of standard bearings to the discovery of flaws. You can learn more about the method of acquisition of data here:

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/372416A-01/svtconcepts/fault_detection/#Envelope_Detection

The first link is a tutorial on the detection of failures in the bearings. The end of the link provides the location of an example VI that may also be useful.

  • Using the channel of the flaws with the reading of data

Is it possible to substitute a model output when I want real data playback using the stim profile editor?

I understand how to use the flaws of the stim profile editor to replace an unique to a single value output channel, but is there a way to "fault" of the channel to the data I read (.csv file)?

Don't know how I missed that...  Exactly what I was looking for.

    Thank you

  • The flaw in LabVIEW Tools Network: VI Package Manager

Initially, I was impressed by the network of LabVIEW tools (see here).  Sound seemed like a 'plus' for everyone:

-Producers who did not want to reinvent the wheel, could easily find and download code with the help of the Package of VI Manager.

-Developers who want to sell their code, could easily package it and sell it through market Tools Network (similar to the iPhone App Store).

But then I found the flaw: the Package of VI Manager

(Essentially), developers must use the VI package manager if they want to sell their code... and it costs $999.  And you will need to add on the cost of a LabVIEW license ($2 k +), of course.  It will surely elimate many coders to participate.  Actually, this will probably double also artificially increase the price of all the SW sold on the network of tools.

And by the way: why is OR relying on a tool SW third delivery for their market at all?  Especially one that costs developers $1 k to package their add-on?  Why NOT just build their own packs of VI and dump JKI tools Manager all together?  In this case, their own package of construction manager would be wise to NEITHER.  Cut ot intermediaries.  And after all, does not NOR do this Endevo when they built their own tool LVOOP (thus 'dumping' toolkit GOOP of Endevo into oblivion?).

Oh... and I've got someone at - it remember that Apple only charges $99 developers distribute iPhone apps?  And their development environment is given completely free.

  • System Restore has a flaw

System Restore does not work properly, he repeats to me he hs found an undisclosed flaw.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Hello

    This can help you:

    1. If you are using Norton, you should disable Norton inviolable Protection before using the system restore.

    http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/sharedtech.nsf/pfdocs/2005113009323013

    2. try to use Safe Mode system restore.

    http://bertk.MVPs.org/html/restoresysv.html

3 Malware will stop at the system restore.

Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware, if necessary in Mode safe mode with networking:

  • Sony RX100 MKii exposure Simulation Flaw

Hello Sony. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I just tried to use the Sony RX100 MKii in the studio and found a problem.

Simulation of exposure in Manual Mode. He needs a toggle so it can be turned off to be able to use the manual focus and see what focus you on.

It is a quote from an other people's views, I found trying to find a solution to this problem.

"There is a flaw with the implementation of the claw. You cannot disable the exposure simulation and it will be for most cases that the display black, when you dial the correct shutter speed / opening of values for an external flash... Very inconvenient. Although the LCD display will illuminate for a second or two when you AF, it will stay dark for the rest of the time, so it doesn't help much. It should be possible to switch off the simulation of the exhibition. "With for example Samsung cameras, Canon etc, there is a menu 'framing mode' option for this specific purpose (external flashes).

Please help with this. It is a great camera and it needs a few software changes to be totally awesome.

    Concerning

    SB.

Thank you for sharing your comments about the application of live view camera DSC-RX100M2. We are more than happy to pass this information on the Department for review. We place a very high value on feedback from our customers because it allows us to understand how we can improve our products.

To work around the problem, you could temporarily move to P, A or S modes of shooting for the purpose of framing and setting for the point. Once done, you might return to M mode so that you can take a picture using the appropriate settings.

  • Is this a design flaw or just a defective HARD disk?

    HP Pavilion 1331sa

My HARD drive that's happened in a way I've never seen caused by a overheating.

I thought the disc is on the right side, but I just heard her on the left side. Where it's warm.

Computer laptop simply hot, speccy is reported this

    CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT
    AMD K12 74 ° C.

    Motherboard
    Hewlett-Packard 3567 (socket FS1) 74 ° c.

In my opinion, it's fried. Very to warm.

There can be no temprature readings for the HARD drive. But the plastic on the outside is very hot.

Vents are OK, no dust inside almost anything on the laptop.

Is this a design flaw, or is there a problem with my laptop?

I can only suggest using the warranty, if you think that something is not ok, becaue I don't have any other ideas that will not void the warranty. Please contact HP. How to do? Click on the link below and choose your country:

  • Flaws Super metric

I'm creating a great metric that handset vCenter failures and defects of the host. The idea is that I have a screen applied to the main operations that shows me if a site has flaws. I can list separately, but prefer to combine in a metric. I tried many combinations of adding two metrics, using max and maxN, but no luck so far. Any ideas?

You just need to get a little more creative with the formula of SM.   Here's something to think about:

    Max ([$This:A804, maxN($RK19:A1553,3)])

    and listed...

Max ([this resource: Badge |]) The fault, maxN (host system: Badge |) Fault, 3)])

Yes, you can use these materials.

Apply this SM to vCenter resources. What he does is get the vCenter and the higher value of the fault of all hosts 3 degrees of separation under the vCenter... then SM will take the value of one who is highest... the failure to vCenter score or higher fault of your hosts. Magic!

    logic of metric #conditional #supermetric #super

  • Power point slides GET small when put in the timeline - a flaw in the Premier Pro?

I posted a question about a week ago, but maybe that someone else is now online with an easy solution.  Otherwise it is just a defect in Premier Pro.  When I drag the PowerPoint slides in the source monitor, they are big and fill the frame as much as possible.  Vacant space is on the left and the right because the blades are about 4 x 3 and HiDef video is 16 x 9.  But there is no extra space on the top and the bottom.  As soon as I drag them in the timeline, they become smaller and there is more space on the top and the bottom.

When I asked about this a week ago the only solution offered was to blow up slides in photoshop, that I did not and do not want to buy.  But doing that would reduce the resolution.  Other video editing systems don't do this and make as big as possible PowerPoint slides.  If this seems to be a flaw unless someone knows how to solve this problem.

Slides imported via Open Office Impress (like PowerPoint) are the appropriate size, but Impress screwed up a lot of slides, so I can't use it.

    Thanks for your comments.

Go to the first preferences and check the box to check for "scale to the chassis', or right-click of clips already on the timeline and check scale to the chassis. The problem is that the photos that you bring in are smaller than the frame size, for example, if your sequence is 1920 x 1080 and the slides are 1024 x 768, that's why they are too small in the sequence. The Prefs setting does not affect the clips already imported, starts only work on imports again after you change the setting, so you don't have the manual option.

    Thank you

If the marquee tool worked correctly in the past, I would propose a reset of this tool.

Select the marquee tool, then go to the top where the Options are for her.

The left icon is the rectangular marquee tool. Right-click on it to display the reset menu, then choose "Reset Tool".

He put the Marquee tool back to its "default values.
