  Solution Center says that my device does not complete the installation... This is a new issue. I have been using this printer since the installation of this new. I reinstalled it & no luck. I can print via wireless (test page) & wireless diagnosis says everything is fine. I also tried to use a patch 'add a device' downloaded from HP printer worked very well for 2 other computers on my home network. the test page shows my IP address correctly. I really don't want to go through the hassle of completely uninstall & reinstall. any advise?

  Thank you for the follow up to Advisor but the only thing that worked was to completely uninstall the printer software and do a fresh install.  Now my HP Solution Center opens, the printer prints very well. BTW, I tried to install the DOWNLOAD & that didn't work, either. I had a window of solution that made me walk through many steps & still not managed to exploit the property. anyone else having this problem, should just uninstall & reinstall, I guess.

  I have an A30 with Win XP pro sp2. Recently disappeared from my DVD player and also my printer has stopped working. I reinstalled DVD Tosh tools and it is now working again, but I am unable to get the parallel port works again. I have it active in the Bios (worm 180.) and also in the control panel.
