Flower Vintage filters!

Hey guys, I work with flowers on photoshop and trying to get a vintage look by using filters.

I tried adding noise and also works with the brightness and contrast, but I can't get the specific look, I want to.

These are examples of what I would do:

The flowers look almost like false - as they were painted.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Or is it even more lighting in photography?

My guess would be a combination of custom curve adjustment of tone and the gradient map layers.

Press Ctrl / Cmd + J twice. Make the top of the B & W layer and change the overlay blend mode. Now add a curves adjustment layer and adjust the channels R, G & B independently until satisfied. Add a gradient map adjustment layer, set the opacity to a low value and create a gradient map personalized with the colours of your choice.

If you want to make this process quick and reproducible, record an action.

Create a new game and call it vintage:

Create a new action and name it what you want:

With the action recording, make the adjustments described in the first part of this answer, then click on stop. You will now be able to play the action as many times as necessary. You can even use the action in combination with a Photoshop script, such as the batch or Image Processor, to apply the effect to hundreds of images in a few minutes.

Have fun!

    Hello

    It's been a while since I've done work with a PIX and as such I am a little rusty with them. I wonder if someone who is a little more familiar with them my being able to answer my question.

    We have a 24 block of public IP addresses that are currently used for various Linux servers + AS5300. I prefer to keep it as a solid with subnets block it.

    We have a number of Windows 2000 servers that are running different PSTN switching + applications SQL that will be installed on the same network. I don't want to put these on the public internet any security guards are taken on local machines. Fortunately, we have a PIX 515 going spare.

    Is it possible to individual/block of IP addresses to the external interface inside card interface of the pix as opposed to a block of addresses for routing on the interface inside of our net block or perform a static mapping from the public to the private. I'm after the result for servers behind the PIX have a public IP address that is flowing through the PIX. So indeed the PIX would act as a bridge firewall. This type of installation is possible?

    Kind regards

    Alan

    Alan,

    Yes. I would * hopefully * is to group machines that keep their outside global addresses together so that I could create an access list to cover.

    i.e.

    access-list ip 10.10.10.0 sheep allow 255.255.255.224

    (Outside) NAT 0 access-list sheep

    This allows the 32 first-(2) IP addresses through the firewall with no address translation.

    You can also restrict the types of traffic as well. My suggestion is to keep the traffic flow and filtering of the traffic of the separate lists. So if I have a Web server in the subnet mentioned above, I would write the following:

    list of allowed incoming access tcp 10.10.10.3 255.255.255.255 eq www

    Hope this helps,

    Doug.

  • How to connect a magnetic flow meter to a 9203 module?

    Hello

    I have a magnetic flow meter, which gives me a measured 4-20mA signal. I'm reading this signal using the 9203 module. As he wrote in the technical data I have to use external power supply. I have 2 sons of my August flowmeter + and GND. I connect August + food + and GND to AI0 after that - from feeding to Com in 9203. I am doing everything correctly? I see not all values change.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Rodzynek,

    Have you tried looking at the output with only a voltmeter digital or similar on the output?

    It would be a good guide to tell you what really is the signal.

    The 9203 gives a FXP signal in amperes, so if you expect 8ma your jpg shows 7.16 to 7,74 my which is close.

    As I said earlier, I found that the signal of the 9203 is rather noisy and apply filtering to clean up the signal, I guess thatâs you measure the flow rate of the signal change very quickly compared to the sampling frequency 9203.

    Also check if the WHAT GND is connected to the MASS of other output signals.

    See you soon

  • Debounce counter signal digital filtering is not possible?

    Hey all,.

    When you read a flow meter signal at lower bitrates, the signal bounces. Because these bounces are count in addition to pulse correct, this leads to an output of counter unreliable. With a range of joint, I can see the behavior that bounces and determined that the rebounds are starting to occur around 100 Hz. The flow meter has to be in the order of 1500 to 10 Hz. remove all other devices of the system with the potential to influence the signal has no effect.

    Bounces produce both on the edge of the fronts and.

    Because I use a 9188 compactDAQ chassis and a meter module 9411, it seems that it is not possible to use the digital signal filtering? I want to establish that it is a correct assumption.

    When adding a digital camera filter (see the attached VI) I get the following error, explaining that the activation of the filter is not possible.

    Upgrade to DAQmx to 9.2.3 makes no difference.

    I read about using a meter of output to generate own impulses (with a high enough to avoid pulse width bounce) here. For me it is not an option that I don't have an output of the meter module.

    Are there other ways to get a correct count of edge output of the signal bouncing?

    Kind regards

    Bram bolt

    Dear Bram,

    You're right, digital filtering is not supported with the second chassis cDAQ generation (like NI 9188), I forgot that one (I tested with a chassis 0172 and worked well). What we can do is to measure at the same rate and filter the glitches in the software, please marine following example .

  • Filters on the fans / vents?

    Bit of a newb here in question, but I was aspiration of dust on the inside of my HP Pavilion Elite m9252p today and noticed how much dust accumulated outside the various vents on the sides of the chassis, not to mention inside.

    Is it safe to put the "filters" improvised outside these vents to help filter dust?  I think Swiffers, folded once up and taped outside the chassis on the vents.  Will there still be enough air flow / traffic?  Or this obstruction will lead to overheating?

    How about the power supply and system fan slots at the back?

    Will there be commercial filters made specially for this purpose?

    Or it's just a bad idea to interfere with the flow of air in the first place?

    Thank you.

    It is normal that the hot air to blow in the back.

  • Address MAC WUMC710 problems when using MAC filtering

    I recently bought the point WUMC710-HQ AC wireless to connect to my router EA6500.  Generally, the WUMC710 seems to work.  I was able to connect to the router wirelessly on the 5 GHz band and flow EA6500 a NetFlix video with no problems.

    However, there is a major problem that comes makes no logical sense for me:

    When I turn on the wireless MAC address filtering of the EA6500, the WUMC710 does not connect to the EA6500router.

    Yet, I 8 eight other wireless devices on my network which connect very well to the EA6500 when the MAC address filtering is enabled.  Thus, the question seems to outright to WUMC710.

    The address printed on the product shipment to the ends of the box with numbers XX:1 d.

    This address matches the address printed at the bottom of the WUMC710 MAC. (normal)

    My EA6500 router recognizes this MAC address as the correct MAC associated with the WUMC710 (when MAC filtering is enabled).  But as soon as the MAC filtering is turned on, the WUMC710 does not recover to the router. (I checked the MAC address, that I walked into the filter at least a dozen times, and she entered correct - but all my other wireless devices connect OK).

    This is a point that seems strange on the MAC address associated to the WUMC710:

    When I am able to connect to the WUMC710, State--> tab Device illustrated the right address MAC I use to filter.  But when I check the status--> network wireless tab, it displays the MAC address wireless like: XX:1E.

    So, now, I try to get into this 'new' MAC address in the MAC of the router EA6500 filter just to see if it will work with this MAC address "without papers" of the wireless device.  At first, it seems to work.  The WUMC710 of blue light will come on indicating that a wireless connection has been established with the router.  BUT nowhere in the web interface of EA6500 says that the WUMC710 has a DHCP connection with the router.  And, if I connect my laptop directly to one of the WUMC710 Ethernet ports, there is no connection to the Internet via the router (as long as the MAC filtering is enabled).

    I did Factory Reset a few times now and no difference.

    Firmware is the factory default - it is there no update of the firmware available, yet.

    I spent several hours trying to understand what is happening with this device and go round and round in circles in trying different things.  I can only conclude WUMC710-AC is defective, or requires a firmware fix - but none are available.

    Am I missing something here?  Or Cisco does suggest a fix for the firmware for the WUMC710-AC?

    (I don't really like to run my network wireless MAC address filtering active wireless.)

    Kind regards

    Jeff

    Cisco-Linksys 2 support with me today confirmed what I thought it was a possible firmware bug, is actually undocumented features of the WUMC710, by design.  And they agreed that they will update the documentation for WUMC710 to take account of these features and system requirements.

    Just like a reference to new users of the WUMC710 AC wireless bridge, I will summarize here the requirements for WUMC710 wireless bridge to work properly with the router, Cisco-Linksys AC6500 Wireless, when MAC filtering is enabled.  If all goes well, this information will save some other people the many hours I spent to dig through the documentation and the FAQ to try to understand what it takes to connect successfully devices behind the bridge of WUMC710 to the AC6500 router - when the MAC address filtering is enabled:

    The following MAC address must be entered in the AC6500 router table filtering of MAC addresses to connect devices behind the bridge WUMC710 wireless to the Internet:

    1. The MAC address of the bridge wireless WUMC710 wireless.
    2. The address MAC LAN of the WUMC710 bridge.
    3. Addresses MAC LAN of each LAN device connected to the LAN Ports of the WUMC710 bridge.

    That in a few words.

    With this information, devices behind the WUMC710 of Internet connection (with the active MAC filtering) is a breeze.

  • Flow of firepower of ASA

    Hi guys,.

    I noticed of Palo Alto and other sellers specify a much higher rate for their new generation compared to Cisco solution, when they make the full filtering URL, antivirus and anti-spam protection

    I think it's because they treat the package in parallel where ASA he treats one by a single module, is that correct?

    For example, ASA a past traffic to URL filtering, then Spam and then...

    Where as Palo Alto passes to the URL and SPam and... all at once so achieve a significantly higher flow rate.

    on this basis, it is correct to say that Cisco may not be the dealer in this area due to how they manage the firepower?

    I think the best way to address this issue is using NSS Labs reports. They publish an annual report which includes a chart to see how much you pay by protected Mbit/sec. Given that the supplier has published performance data are not always correct that you can watch their conclusions.

    I don't know if you're talking about absolute return (e.g. 7080 PAN vs FP9300), but in case you do I would say looking at the relative numbers and check what bitrate you lose by using for example the IPS.

    Architecture: hardware wise performance will always beat the software. FPGA used for specific loads occur always better than generic processors. Parallel processing is not something that each salesperson makes. Try to not get lost in the marketing of buzz and just analyze the performance counters and see how they compare when it comes to price - at the end of the day an architecture that results in better performance of 10%, but 100% higher price might not be what you're looking for.

  • No preview image when using the filter flow therefore cannot see the changes I make up by clicking on the window of fluidity.  No way of knowing what is happening to the image while it is happening.

    Re: the fluidity in the last update PS CC filter.  When you use the filters of flow, how can I see the changes that I do while I'm using the filter tools, as I've always been able to do before?  Now, if I use the tool dilation or contraction tool, etc., I can't see the effect of what I did until I click on the window of fluidity and make to the main screen of PS.  This makes the tools unnecessary fluidity.

    Also check if see the background is checked.

  • vShield App - access Flow Monitoring via vShield API?

    Hello world!

    We want to get their hands on the information provided by the App Flow vShield"monitor"programmically. We found no detail on how to do this via the API of vShield. Anyone know how or have experience using the Flow' monitor ' in this way?

    See you soon!

    Hi, would like to understand how you want to use data more precisely. Today, vShield Manager collects a large set of data that comes to the microphones, and recovery of the flow bulk can be no optimal via REST... We don't have a way to retrieve the stream via the API for this reason. You are looking for a filtered or a search for style operation to retrieve specific streams or more doing timed calls for periodic flows? If it's the latter, potentially using the Netflow feature in our vSwitch can be an alternative method.

    Do you currently work closely with vShield engineering team? Looks like an interesting use case, we would be delighted to hear from you...

  • Lines that do not migrated because of filters are saved somewhere?

    Hi all

    According to my understanding, if I put a constraint on the target table in the models and use the control flow through a seam in the interface, the lines that do not meet the constraint get connected to the table of errors E$.

    I want to know that if I put some filters or join conditions on the source, the lines that are not migrated because of these filters, do they get connected anywhere. Until now, I used to check tables $ ca and my source and see that all lines have not migrate but is there any other table where the journal is maintained?

    Thank you and best regards,
    Prerna

    Hey Loren,
    You cannt see these documents. You must look in the backend... Let's say you have a filter SAL > 100 then you will get all information abot SAL<100. if="" you="" need,="" then="" you="" create="" one="" refresh="" variable="" based="" on=""><100 and="" get="" the="" count(*)="" or="" other="" possible="" information="" as="" per="">

    Bottom line: ODI will occupy on those records satisfying the condition not others.

    Thank you.

  • Turning on and off with the code filters

    Hello

    I have a txt tha flow external file filter parameters to variables in my as3 code, and I use these variables to apply filters throughout my project.

    As my txt file will always to initially feed settings for the filter, for example, the color, the blur and the strength of a filter of radiation, y at - it a setting I can use that enables or disables the filter, or I would be preferable to use only add alpha parameter and return 0 when I don't want the filter to display?

    Thanks for your time guys

    Shaun

    Use an if statement to determine whether to apply a specific filter.

  • filtering of dataprovider of datagrid

    Hello

    Someone at - it a code example or sample for filtering of the results displayed in a DataGrid when the dataprovider is a
    collection of a VO ArrayCollection?

    For example,.

    accountingdata:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection (ArrayUtil.toArray (event.result));
    where event.result is VO comes from a remotecall.

    < mx:DataGrid id = "mainList" dataProvider = "{accountingdata}" itemClick = "itemClicked (event)" >

    < mx:columns >
    < mx:DataGridColumn dataField = "date" width = "80".
    headerText = "Date" / >
    < mx:DataGridColumn dataField = "accountno" width = "60".
    headerText = "Account number" / >
    < mx:DataGridColumn id = "flow" dataField = "flow" headerText = 'Throughput' width = '80' labelFunction = "format" / >
    < mx:DataGridColumn dataField = "credit" headerText = "Credit" width = '80' / >

    < / mx:columns >

    I've seen many examples online that uses XML or code items from the arraycollection hard collection but he would appreciate examples using VO.

    Thank you.

    Use the ArrayCollection collection such FilterFunction property. It simply returns a true or false result.
    example:

    private void filterOnCredit(item:Object):Boolean {}
    return (item.credit > 1200);
    }

    private function executeCreditFilter (): void {}
    accountingdata.filterFunction = filterOnCredit;
    accountingdata .refresh;
    }

  • filters, constraints, and the transformations in odi

    Hello
    When I want to add a condition I can do
    (1) adding constraints and references with this data store or
    (2) creation of filters in the diagram
    So, what is the difference between these two?

    (b) how business rules and integrity constraints are different transformations in odi?
    PDF, said business rules and integrity constraints can be checked at the level of data extraction and
    transformations can be done by loading data to target using the features of target database

    Jin
    one)
    wrong explain this with an example.

    If I create a filter to tell the age > 18

    Then all the records that have the age< 18="" will="" not="" be="" processed="" at="" all.="" in="" other="" words="" this="" data="" does="" not="" even="" enter="" the="" flow.="" its="" like="" stopping="" it="" at="" the="" entrance.="" mostly="" used="" when="" we="" do="" not="" want="" some="" data="" to="" be="" processed="" at="" all.="" say="" for="" this="" example,="" a="" person="" less="" than="" 18="" cannot="" be="" married.="" so="" we="" dont="" need="" to="">

    But if you define a constraint saying age > 18 on target then all records with the age below 18 are moved to the error table. In contrast to the filter, all the data are processed. During the flow, constraints are checked and we have options(Flow/static) to either move the records to the table of errors only. or (table errors as long as target table)

    Filters are generally defined on source.
    Constraints are usually defined on the target.

    (B)
    Another example.
    The rules are certain conditions that you can set using "forced" feature in ODI. Here, we can apply this business rule to catch false documents.
    Ex: age > 18.

    Whereas a transformation (made in the mapping) is something like this

    If your source stores the name of the Middle first, 3 columns, family name
    But in the target you want to that they all in a single column. So can you put a strain? (No right? to the max you can put a strain that name can't have digital)
    This is achieved by mapping or transformation
    (first | | middle | | family name)

    Hope its clear.
