• 2013 Exchange setup/PS will fail because Exchange 2010 SP3 missing on the edge transport server... but SP3 is installed!

  I downloaded the new installer Exchage 2013 CU1 which should allow Installation of 2013 Exchange in an existing Exchange 2010 organization. But already Setup/PS the prerequisite check fails. He know that both my havn't 2010 SP3 Exchange Edge Transport server installed. But that's not true: SP3 is installed on both servers. How to Setup research version and why it might find old entries? And more importantly: How can I make sure that the Organization's Information contains the build good level of Edge Transport servers? I hope that exchanging 2013 in the end is not as Buggy and frustrating as this never ending "can not install because ' Business.

• FMS multipoint publish, howto do not publish the feed?

  Hi there and thanks for looking, I think it's something simple, and it seems to me not to do

  I OUT source streaming to FMS #1 and FMS #1's multipoint publishing for FMS #2. It works fine, but when I stop OUT source, does not prevent the multipoint publication of #1 to the #2 FMS FMS (not publish) and continues to flow (Black Madonna) empty flow between the FMS servers.

  So how do I ubpublish the multipoint publishing streams on FMS #1? Thank you.

  OK after 2 years, I guess I'll answer my own question, I just found out how to unpublish multipoint streaming, when the original encoder stops streaming...

• How to republish one FMIS in the other streams

  We are 24/7 streaming live from a number of OUT to the FMS server interactive for a livepkgr app cloned, and our customers, listen to Flash via rtmp and IOS via HLS.

  Since we want to set up another server (to be able to serve more customers), the question is - hot to republish a different server so that both servers can stream rtmp and hls to customers?

  2. create two application, livepkgr1... livepkgr livepkgr2... In above code, I assumed that the two are on the same server, if you change the server and keep the application of livepkrg even name.

  3. from GFFE, instead of publish livepkgr, publish on ingestapp... otherwise keep everything even.

  4. from customer to subscribe to livepkgr1 and livepkgr2 and correct server...

  so in this case, OUT feed to ingest the app and ingest app working as a driver for several applications of livepkgr... Hope that clarifies...

  Thanks Nancy, I managed to do the work.  When in DW, I had no defined site and tried to insert the oam in

  a new html.  As soon as I set up a site and created a new html then oam all the inserts work very well.

  Hi, did anyone use gmail as the mail host for sending e-mail to the editor? Difficult to determine the appropriate settings. In Publisher, you can specify the server name, port, host and username and password, but I was not able to successfully send a message to a gmail account. I work with someone who uses gmail as their provider of hosted messaging (i.e. not [email protected] but [email protected]). Any help would be great. Thank you!

  Public mail servers (hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc.) require you to use TLS (secure connection).
  Current version of BI Publisher does not have such a feature not even in 11g.
  There is a demand for improvement in 11g (ER 9497956).

  I do not have a facility of 10g here, but if I'm not mistaken not it is table TIP_TRANSPORTSERVER which holds the transport server details.

• Is no longer possible to publish a stream in iTunes you and in the podcast store

  Just a heads up-

  We spent several years some of our streams iTunes U published in the regular iTunes podcast store often use the same RSS feed for both. Since the recent launch of iTunes Connect (the new quote and service management of content from the iTunes store), however, it seems that it is possible to submit an RSS feed in iTunes you and the iTunes podcast store. I get a message that says "status: Validation failure ' and 'cannot submit your feed. Your feed had already been submitted. »

  I submitted a ticket to Apple support, but some trial and error tests suggests that there is a workaround. If you have already submitted your feed to iTunes U, you can submit it to the iTunes podcast store but you need to replace the feed URL and the title of the podcast. I don't know if cela a new policy from Apple or a glitch in the new iTunes Connect service.

  Another work around could be to send the stream to the podcast to iTunes store first and then submit to iTunes U public site manager using-, but I have tested this theory yet.

  I have a question about the vWorkspace 8.0. as I face problem in Terminal Server connection and applicattion publication uses the end user with operating system Windows XP desktop.

  It gives me error unable to connect once I click on published TS icon or Application.

  This problem is only with windows XP OS. on windows 7 it works fine. Please suggest a solution
