My Dell is power saving mode and will not come out
My Dell is power saving mode and will not come out? Any suggestions? I can't get anything else than a screen that says it is in power save mode and press a key or move the mouse. No one who does nothing. Don't disconnect.
Hi Ma32206,
Monitors Dell will automatically mode energy saving after a predetermined time amount when the computer is idle. The Dell monitor will go completely black, rather than display a screen saver. This allows your monitor to essentially turn off until it takes again.
A. Press any key on the keyboard or move the mouse. Either will automatically turn off the power saving mode. Alternatively, you can press the power button on your Dell computer tower or laptop.
B. press one button a second time if the monitor goes power saving in standby mode. Standby mode allows the screen saver appears.

Curious... the power light flashing indicates also XP was put on Stand-By...

Couple of things: 1) I ran anti-virus programs and found nothing. It is probably because I have Webroot essentials running on my computer that pretty much catches most of the problems. ((2) I found the clogged fan grille almost closed with dust... I have now cleaned and 3) when I try to save power settings, I get an error message that says "Power Policy Manager unable to set policy - indicates two revision levels are incompatible." I don't know if it's because I recently downloaded and installed the SP3 from Microsoft (so that I could download and install (upgrade to) Office 2010) which may be incompatible with Webroot? I say it's when I right click the icon of the Service Pack 3 and click Scan, my webroot scan lights. In any case, I've attached the information requested below.
I hope that it is something as simple to clean my gird so the machine overheating... causing the closure. My computer shuts down actually to the beautiful middle of my only uninstalling the software anti-malware you have suggested.

PC keyboard problem. Keyboard will not funtion. It seems to be frozen or locked. Any ideas for me to try?
Hey GordonRouze,
This link here explains how you start in safe mode on your PC model. Follow this link and to inform the community if you have any questions. That's what we're here for. Also if you have any extra keyboard in your House, I think it would be a good idea to UN plug your keyboard present and connect your keyboard very different (even if your computer is off course). And my final advice is to follow this link and it is on the site of Dell Drivers. Type the information he needs, and it will display the "engines" of your computer uses. The drivers are what make that equipment works properly with your software. So I recommend that you make sure that your drivers are correctly installed and up-to-date. Once again if you have any questions.Hope this helps and thanks for posting of Microsoft Answers! -
Looks like my question may have been corrupted.
I updated my phone to iOS 9.3.1 last night. Now all my incoming calls go directly to Voicemsil without ringing on my end. My sound and message settings appear normal for me. Also, my screen rotates out of sight from portrait to landscape view for photos FB etc...
suggestions to solve problems?
It seems that if you have the lock of portrait and do not disturb activated. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to call the control center. Look at the two circular icons on the top right row. They are white? If so, tap on them to turn them off. One resembles a Crescent Moon, the other as an arrow in a circle with a padlock in the Center.

Display will not come out of sleep mode
I have a HP Pavilion p7-1410 Office running 64-bit Windows 8. Power management is in its default configuration. When I try to wake the computer after being in standby mode, the computer comes out but the screen remains black. I know with certainty that the computer itself is awake, that I can remote access to its hard drive. But nothing of what I do wake up on the screen. The only option that works for me is a hard-reset. Someone knows how to fix this?
The problem disappeared after the update of the system for Windows 8.1

After downloading an updated version of the Internet Exployer, I received a virus called system tools. It really messed up my laptop. I paid to download a cleaner, but tool systems let me download only in safe mode. Now I can't get my laptop back to normal. In safe mode, printing is so great, that it is difficult to navaigate. Now every time I have open an email or a Web site I get this pop up that says it is a non-secure site and click to run. I want to get rid of this pop up. I have turn turn off my machine and selected normal mode, but when it restarts automatically returns to safe mode. I have done this several times with the same results. Help, please. Thank you, Karen

When I try to turn on the computer it gives me a message of startup repair. There are a few problem signatures read like this
The problem StartupRepairOffline event name
Hi GwenBenson,
1 have you tried running the Startup Repair tool?
2. when the problem started?
3. did you of recent changes to the computer?
4. are you able to boot in safe mode?
Method 1:
Step 1: You can check if you can boot into safe mode.
Start your computer in safe mode
Step 2:
If you can boot into safe mode without any problem, then you can try to perform a restore of the system to a restore point before you have been affected by the problem and check.
Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
To run the system restore, you can consult the following link:

Method 2:
Alternatively, you can try using the last known good configuration and check. It's a Windows startup option that uses the most recent system settings that worked correctly.
For more information, you can consult the following article:

I get the blue sreen with theses messages
0 x 0, 00000000 00000001I get the blue sreen with theses messages
0 x 0, 00000000 00000001I don't know what your problem is, but I would point out that when you say "I have no virus", you could very well be wrong
No antivirus program is perfect, and the more popular (Norton and McAfee) are among the worst. Just because they do not catch something doesn't mean you're not nfected.
In addition, more virus there are other types of malware, such as spyware, and even if you have no virus, you could be infected with spyware.
For an anti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32, if you're ready
to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend one (do not run more than one) of the following three:
Avira AntiVir
Avast
Microsoft Security Essentials
You also need anti-spyware software (even if you run a program like Microsoft Security Essentials, with anti-spyware feature integrated into it). I recommend that you download and
install MalwareBytes AntiMalware (freeware) -

Sometimes they get stuck. There is a small hole on the front of the CD drive that you can stick a paper clip that will release him and the reader to open.

OfficejetPro 8600: I opened the tray paper. Now the tray won't go back and won't go either. It's coming out about 6.5-inch printer is currently a big paperweight.
My 'solution' in 2012 had to take printer to Best Buy where they replaced my printer that was a few months old at the time. I had no other problems in the last two years with the status bar.

I'm afraid that the disc does not fit in the tray correctly taken somehow.
... but the ndoes bin move any.
If you have inserted the paperclick in the hole at (or very close to) 90 degrees you experienced resistance which you then push gently through to open the tray. If any resistance was seen, it is possible that the tray jumped the small gears in plastic which facilitate the opening and closing. If this is the case, you will need to open the housing of the computer and physically remove the replacement drive. -
