  I have been using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit for at keast 3 years with no problems until now.

  I recently went from 32 bit to 64 bit on the PC (which I did several times in the past with no problem), but now I am unable to activate Windows due to the following error:

  0xC004C003 activation - the server has determined that the specified product key has been blocked.

  I tried the same key on 32-bit and 64-bit with the same result.

  I bought two copies of Windows 7 Ultimate edition of the same online store. The other product key still works fine.

If volumes stay offline, you maybe won't be able to recover the data on them. In these cases, you must delete the volumes, recreate them and recover data from a backup or a replica.

  If the table is a member of a group and the command clearlostdata does not resolve the problem, the table does not start and you may need to remove the members of the group. If you remove the Member, the table will be reset and returned to its default settings. Delete only a member offline in extreme circumstances because reset table will delete all data on the array. See page 153 members.

  I bought an iphone 5 recently, which is locked (bought cheaply but) activation of the former owner. Of course, the person who sold me the unit doesn't have any info on the phone. BUT! I want to get in touch with the previous person to return the unit or get the activation lock removed.

  You could turn the iPhone to the police.  They may seek the rightful owner or have a current report of loss.

  In most jurisdictions, property unclaimed within a period of time can be returned to the person who makes it. It would be useless to you, but at least there is a chance, that it is up to the buyer.
