Fonts appear "broken".

All my fonts appear "broken" in photoshop [as in each letter will not flow into the next letter, there is a gap].  Any suggestions?

Have you tried to adjust the character spacing?

  • Typekit fonts appear in InDesign, but not Illustrator

    Hello

    Wondering if anyone can help me with a problem of Typekit?  I managed to synchronize some fonts in InDesign, but when I use Illustrator none of the fonts appears. All fonts appear in the CC application and appear to be synchronized. I restarted Illustrator too, but that doesn't seem to work.

    See you soon

    Hi camillag30,

    I'm sorry that you trouble with that! Could you please check that you are connected to creative cloud on the Help menu in Illustrator?

    If you are already connected, try the following steps to clear any stale creative cloud session and start a new one:

    (1) disconnect from creative cloud in the menu using Illustrator

    (2) restart Illustrator

    (3) reconnect to creative cloud in the Help menu of Illustrator

    After signing new, Illustrator should be able to find your Typekit account information and add the fonts you have selected to sync.

    If this does not make a difference, please send more information at [email protected] and we will look into it more:

  • fonts appear in all different sizes

    fonts appear in all different sizes on the desktop workspace, but they all look the same size when you preview in a browser

    Design view is not reliable.  At best, it's an approximation of what you might see in some older browsers.

    Live view is a little better at rendering, but it is not as good as Preview in browsers.

I understand that the fonts that are not supported are converted to images instad of the text but why do these low resolution? The use of the browser has an effect on how it appears? Hi Johan,.

    While exporting the images in photoshop, try to add the transparency of 1% and save them as png Muse to avoid compressing the images. Let me know if that makes a difference.

  • Images inside div tags appear broken

    I don't have a ton of experience in the use of div tags, but I'm learning and have met a "roadblock". Search for an answer to these days, I'm not finding exactly what I live... I'm looking on the forum for help and advice.

    So I designed a layout with divs. When I preview the design of in Dreamweaver, the site appears flawelssly in Safari, Firefox and Chrome - everything seems perfect, and there is no broken images. But as soon as I download all my files on my server dev online - it's where things go wrong and I see broken images. But the broken images are not consistent. Some look perfectly while others are broken. I do not understand why an image appears while another image is not, I used the same approach on each div I built. I know that my image paths are correct, then this isn't the problem... which leads me to believe that I have something wrong in my code div itself. But being new to the div... I do not see where I was wrong. I have not used 'float' correctly? Has not used to position correctly? I am very confused and frustrated at this point and I really want to come back to the use of tables... any help will be grately appreciated.

  • Photos edited with Photoshop appear broken in pictures

    Hello!
    I'm trying to familiarize myself with Photos after years of using Windows. I'm an amateur photographer and editing my photos using Photoshop Elements. After downloading the pictures from my camera, they appear as they should, but after their change in PE, Photos show them as not edited or broken in two vignettes and openness. Other programs show the form published as expected.

    Is there a way to make the Photos to display images in the edited form? Now, it is very difficult to remember what pictures are published and which are not.

    What do you mean edited? What file format are these pictures? PSD?

  • Style of Twitter seems bad, fonts appear invisible

    After the Firefox update to 11, it seems that the fonts are 'invisible' when I go to Twitter.com (it's the only site of this day where I noticed that happening). It seems that certain letters appear, such as "N" and "l". Is not right on the home page, if I connect it continues through the site. I am on Windows 7 and have not done more changes on my computer lately (no new program, no new Firefox plugins).

    My windows xp screen is all messed up. the screen is too small, so I have black on 1/4 of the screen my fonts are too big. I think it would be easy to fix, but when I click on Control Panel and appearance, that nothing seems to help... any ideas?

    1. make sure your resolution is correct. To ensure that this is done in Control Panel > display > settings tab. Move the cursor to the proper resolution for your monitor.

    2. If the settings are already set to the correct resolution and you have an independent monitor (not a laptop), then use the buttons on the display itself to set the screen display. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    Restore point:

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

    Then:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution

    Change the screen resolution

    Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

  • Typekit fonts appear not ALL IOS Safari

    HI, I'm using Typekit and avoid FOUC (Flash of unstyled content), I use the police event classes .wf-loading, .wf-active (.wf-idle is not currently used)

    However, on the last version of Safari (iOS), all the text is reappear on some pages.  Steps to reproduce the problem

    1. "Go to this link ' Oriental
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on one of the 3 new related items (images, titles, or the readmore)
    3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, the footer menu does not appear.

    Any help much appreciated.

    My CSS for this area is as follows

    / * Mask FOUC times load * /.

    . WF-loading h1, h2 .wf-loading, .wf-loading h3, h4 .wf-loading, .wf-loading h5, h6 .wf-loading, .wf-loading p, .wf-loading li {}

    visibility: hidden;

    . WF-active h1, h2 .wf-active, .wf-active h3, h4 .wf-active, .wf-active h5, h7 .wf-active, .wf-active p, .wf-active li {}

    visibility: visible;

    }

    h = d.documentElement, t = setTimeout (function () {h.className = h.className.replace (/ "wf-idle" \bwf-loading \b/g,"")+;)}, config.scriptTimeout), tk = d.createElement ("script"), f = false, s = d.getElements ByTagName ("script") [0], a; h.className += 'wf-loading'; tk.src =' https://use.typekit.net/'+ config.kitId + '.js'; tk.async = true; tk.onload = tk.onreadystatechange = function () {a = this.readyState; if(f|| un & & un! = «complet» & & un! = «chargé») return; e = true; clearTimeout() (t); try {Typekit.load (config)} catch (e) {}}; s.parentNode.insertBefore (tk, s)

    (}) (document);

    I checked the other things.  Page valid. There is no JS or PHP error and tried the other method of Typekit.

    Hey Antony,.

    Thanks for this update! I was using the link "read more" every time (except that once, I guess that), which explains why I didn't see it.  By clicking on the image allows you to reproduce the problem always for me, too.

    And I think we could have thought of it: there is a conflict between when the browser applies this rule in the files style.css and CSS police event:

    / * Animation and filters * /.

    . Animate - everything, point .menu a {}

    -webkit-transition: 300ms all;

    -moz-transition: 300ms all;

    -ms-transition: 300ms all;

    -o - transition: 300ms all;

    transition: 300ms all;

    }

    If I remove the .menu-point a selector so that the transition is not applied to links, fonts from loading in the foot, whenever I click on the image to go to the next page.  Using other values for the transition, such as transition: couleur.3s, also arranges.

    Please give that a try and see if it solves for you also! Best,

    -liz

  • Fonts appear only in white scroling on them while in the fonts menu

    This happened after upgrading my OS to OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. I have Adobe Illustrator CS3 13.0.3.

    George,

    I think that it can fix:

    Open system preferences and go to accessibility. Then select display in the source on the left side list, then check the box transparency reduced.

    It was introduced in this #15 post by TheUlser:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/message/6854594#6854594

    It has been described on this page from Adobe:

    http://capitalmacservice.com/font-preview-working-Illustrator-CS-5-Yosemite-fix/

    It may also depend on the monitor, as shown in the message #29 by Loncar in the same thread.

    Of course, this also affects other things so there can be a downside to it, of course, the influences of transparency reduced the appearance of other things, but so far nobody complained disadvantages.

  • fonts appear of different size on each page

    Hello

    I have problems with font sizes that appear different on each page.

    I use Ralway 14pt times (via typekit) as a subheader, but it seems smaller or more on different pages.

    In addition, my menu and a couple of small items in the header appear to spend a couple of pixels on the different pages.

    can someone please help?

    Hello

    The horizontal shift can be explained by the fact that the menu is centered on the page, while the width of the page changes slightly in all pages that is based on the question of whether or not scroll bars appear (which in turn depends on the amount of content). To always display the scroll bars, use the option always file > Site Properties > Layout > browser Scrollbars.
