• Built-in fonts don't work properly

  I am trying to create a PDF file from MS Word using Acrobat Pro 10.1.4.  I put it in the Acrobat printer driver for is not system fonts.  To my knowledge, that's all I have to do to embed all fonts in the document.

  On the machine, create the PDF file appears very well - but on other machines, most of the fonts don't appear correctly.  One of them might appear, the rest of them are either replaced by a normal font, or it's gibberish characters.

  Some machines, it happens without error - other machines, I get an error for * a * policies saying that it cannot find or create it.

  What goes wrong, and how to correctly incorporate all the fonts?

• Kindle App not found on iTunes Store

  Don't know what to do about this, I'm looking for the Kindle app on the iTunes store (I have it on my phone, but my boyfriend wanted to install it on his iphone 6), and it's just not there! I used alone and several keywords to limit the search results, such as "Kindle reading Ebooks", I can browse the entire list of results, it is simply not there! Even the Amazon app will be displayed but not the Kindle one. I looked on both our phones AND through the store to iTunes on my PC, without success.

  We also tried searching through its search tool on his phone and write "Kindle" it will appear, but when you click it, it draws a white screen with nothing happens (we also tried after restarting his phone, without success).

  Can someone clue me topical issues? Why can't we get it? Thank you!

• Some MS Word fonts do not appear in the Notes or Scrivener!

  I am running OS X El Capitan, and while I can see and use two of my favorite fonts, i.e., Garamond and Candara, the MS Word 2016 (15.19.1), these policies, curiously, do not appear on other applications of processing such as TextEdit, Notes or Scrivener - previously on Yosemite, however, I was able to use these fonts with Scrivener. Given that this strange behavior is not limited to a third party app (e.g., Scrivener) and own TextEdit and Apple Notes do not show fonts, I was wondering if it was a problem or a question of copy right. In other words, with El Capitan, is it possible, or better yet, logic that now I am only allowed to use these fonts on MS Word and not universally as before with Yosemite? Finally, is it possible for me to solve this problem?

  This kind of behavior is common for a damaged font book database. Close all applications. In your user account preferences folder, put the com.apple.FontRegistry file in the Recycle Bin, and then restart.

  There are two fonts that have been discovered to be bad in El Capitan. They have been there since the Mavericks, but the new versions with El Capitan simply do not work. They are Seravek and the Charter. If you try to use these fonts, they will appear in any application. If you replace them with the versions supplied with the Mavericks or Yosemite, they are fine. Charter belongs to the Bitstream and Seravek in the process Type Foundry. Do not know what they have done for them, but they are definitely screwed up.

  I think I tried every permutation to make this work, but probably miss me something.

  I'm creating a single application iPad DPS with InDesign, and I use a Typekit font throughout.  So far so good.

  I created a project to animate Dashboard using the same Typekit fonts.  In preview mode, this makes it very well.

  However, when I place the project dashboard animate in a frame in InDesign and use the Web Content Overlay Folio (I have use the .oam file or directly link output .html published by Animate), Typekit fonts will not appear in the dashboard part animate DPS app and use instead a rescue police.

  Can anyone suggest a way to make edge Typekit fonts animate the work when they are incorporated into a DPS app?  (For what it's worth, I have the same problem when the incorporation of output html of tumult Hype, it seems unlikely that this is a problem with edge animate at all and probably more to do with something in the way that the DPS application deals with embedded html content has.)

  Unfortunately Typekit fonts don't lend themselves well to borad distrubition you must define on site that the police is broadcast. For example, I want my fonts for display on www.mysite.com--je must go to Typekit and explicitly define www.mysite.com in the list of allowed sites, otherwise the police appears. It is a requirement on the side of Typekit so people can tear off the embed of someone other site code and use it on their own.

  As your digital publication does not have a site that can be defined, your fonts will not be shown by the use of HTML content incorporated (including Animate) with DPS. Typekit Fonts of office work as expected because they get shipped with the release with another Office font you use.

  Now if you are uncomfortable with using online-only, you could find a suitable replacement using Edge Web fonts that don't require site definition. If you have a police office that you want to use WITH the EULA, suitable for web use, you can use a web font generating service as FontSquirrel and incorporate locally with Animate.

• Kindle app on windows 8

  I downloaded a few books in the application of reading kindle via the amazon store. The kindle app was preinstalled on my computer windows laptop 8. I am not able to switch between two books. Whenever I try to close the application and reopen it, the page I was reading changed appears. I want to go to the main view of the application. ESC key or House do not work. He has no close button also top of the page. Help, please

• Kindle app on iMac cannot connect to the network.

  Never use this third-party what we called apps like Mac Clean My cleaning. This app has managed to corrupt your network settings.

  Open the Finder.

  In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

  Then type or copy paste the following text:

  / Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

  Click OK, and then move all files in the SystemConfiguration folder to the trash.

  Then, restart your Mac and try the Kindle app.

  Your Mac wil re generate a new SystemConfiguration folder for you.

• El Capitan equip Kindle app incompatible software folder

  Ten days ago, I updated from a MacBook Pro (Yosemite) 5.5 to a MacBook Pro with El Capitan 10.11.6 9.2. Today, I got the hang of the judgment where the dock is still visible for too long. One application I just used was Kindle for Mac 1.16.0 so I looked in the Applications folder. It seems that El Capitan has moved the Kindle app to an incompatible software folder. I'm still capable of running the Kindle. I can't find any information online with Apple, Amazon, or 3rd - party sites on such popular application why put in this folder, or what it means for the application to be in this folder or how to solve the problem. Anyone had a similar experience?

  You must update the application to the latest version. Simply re-download from here where you initially.

  If they were purchased through the Kindle books (i.e. Amazon) you can open the Kindle application on your new iPad, if not already in the tap of the library the 3 bars on the high left and click library, and then tap cloud down, tap and hold any book in your library and then on download. All purchases are stored by Amazon and can be downloaded at any time.

  I just boutght a HP Slate 2 10 inch tablet and the pre-installed Kindle app does not work.  It just runs for 2 seconds and then closes.  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times and no change.

  Any help for this problem of Kindle app?
