  It was the strangest thing, but I think I solved the problem. Use the CC version 2015.1 on a Wacom tablet using Win 8.1 and inadvertently from the same batch of photos, I had downloaded twice and it was very confusing because it did not prevent the duplication of files, but the files where not really there.   If you click on all programs above the Orb in the list you will find Microsoft Office 2007, click the folder and it opens to reveal Word, excel etc. You can right-click on the word etc. and choose PIN to the start menu or the taskbar somewhere else. I have pin and then in the start menu for convenience.
