  • Communication between two network cards on windows 2003

    Hi all

    I need your help.

I have a machine virtual windows 2003 with two network adapters.

    NIC 1 - external - 192.168.1.101

    Map NETWORK 2 10.10.10.1 - internal -.

I've configured to operate as a DC and DNS serving 10.10.10.x network.

DNS is configured to resolve before on 192.168.1.1 as redirector DNS requests.

I have other machines connected to the 10.10.10.x network.

They can ping 10.10.10.1, they can ping 192.168.1.101 but not 192.168.1.1

I want to just be able to talk to 192.168.1.1 and be able to access the internet.

    No firewall between the two.

Command-line may help, but I would need your help.

  • Have two networks. One is 'working '. The other is the "homegroup". 'work' to the internet. "residential"local group. IE cannot access the internet. Help

    So here's my problem:

It is a routing problem.  In short, it comes down to how to get IE (or any application) to use a specific WiFi adapter with Internet and ignore the adapter WiFi that goes to a network is private with no internet.

This is the situation and what I tried.   No joy.

    PC hardware:

    primePC = Win7-Pro with two WiFi.   WiFi-Internet and WiFi-Local-premium

tabletPC = Win10-Home with a (currently) WiFi-Local-Tablet (not internet from now).

Use the Description of PC hardware

primePC is my laptop that I use for work and all the rest.  It goes where I go.

Tablet PC is in my mobile office and stay in the van (office) when I'm on-site customer.  I use it for

things like control my monitors in the van (office).

    Network:

WiFi-Internet (primePC) is connected Internet router to the Internet.

WiFi-Local (primePC) is connected via the Local router

WiFi-Tablet (Tablet PC) is connected via the Local router

    Objective:

WiFi-Local allows you to share files and use VNC for remote desktop.  (Win10-Home support not native RDP).

Use wireless Internet to connect primePC Apps IE for example to the internet via WiFi-Internet connected to the Internet router.

    A photo is included.

    THE PROBLEM:

Because primePC has WiFi-Internet and WiFi-Local, applications such as IE are getting confused.

How can I say (other applications) to use wireless Internet for internet connection?

    What I tried:

Have you tried ForceBindIP on Win7, but is no longer works.  I'm sure that at some point, it has worked.

Even if I could make it work, I don't really like it.   There *.   I don't want to link to an IP address.  I want to

link to a Mac address is the Mac of the WiFi-Internet address.

    Other Options:

Soft router (ugly) There must be something that can do this.  But I have not found one.  I guess it's a kind of soft router.

    Firewall, routing (still ugly)

I have a firewall (on average by the way).   Creating a routing table in AVG is not good for the following reason.

The entire Setup is mobile.    WiFi Internet is constantly connected to different internet routers, so learning new IP address that I have no control over.

    Future:

Currently, the problem is on the primePC.   But in the end, I have also a problem similar with tabletPC, since the tabletPC is going to have a 3G connection / 4G to the internet.  This connection will go up and down based on (A) if I have internet with WiFi-Internet-router or not.   Using a hub of 3G / 4G for private network will not be good option because (A) the security because it allows access to my tablet, another security van mobile devices (B) cost of using a mobile router WiFi "hot spot" vs just to have two phone lines, both have unlimited data service of attachment (not unlimited hotspot service).

    Hello

According to the description, I understand that you have a routing problem, you try to get IE to use a specific WIFI adapter with the internet, while ignoring the other WIFI adapter that goes to a private network.

It is not possible to connect two computer to the same WIFI cards. You must unmark a WIFI to use the other WIFI adapter.

  • Routing between two network cards

I have 8 fiber switches that are configured to use a private network for management.

    The subnet is 192.168.8.0/24.

I have a W2K3 (SERVER A) server with two NICS, a NIC (192.168.8.1) is attached to

the 192.168.8.0 subnet and the other (192.168.100.14) NETWORK adapter is attached to the subnet 192.168.100.0/24.

I put up two persistent routes of road between these NICS using the following commands:

    Pei route add 192.168.8.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.100.14

    Pei route add 192.168.100.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.8.1

I have an other W2K3 server (SERVER B) with a single NETWORK (192.168.100.12) card that must be able

to connect with the fiber switches via tcp/ip. Packets should be routed to this server.

On that I put in place a permanent route:

    Pei route add 192.168.8.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.100.14

    Everything works very well.

(Assumes that the SERVER-A and SERVER B are now turned off)

I'm trying to reproduce this on my VMware ESX Server 3.5upd3.

ESX server has two NICS, one attached to each of the subnets. I create a virtual machine to replace SERVER-a

with the same number of network cards and the same IP addresses.

I then create routes as follows:

    Pei route add 192.168.8.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.100.14

    Pei route add 192.168.100.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.8.1

PROBLEM: as soon as I add the second route I can no longer ping any server on the 192.168.100.0 subnet.

This also causes connections to last very long.

Do I need to implement routing between network adapters ESX scale to make this work?

If so maybe want the command look like? If not, what could be my problem?

Thank you for the helpful answers

If you want to configure your machine as a router, you will need to notify the router is the next hop.  Now, the next machine break is its own interfaces, which will not work.  And since you are running some sort of routing protocol, provide two solutions to exit the server is not a good idea, because he doesn't know that one to use.  It will use 1 for some and another for some.

Do what you intend (or I think you intend), you must delete the static routes and choose a default route, which will be your next jump.  This should be another router in your environment.  Then, the other servers that you want to route via ServerA, ServerA interface on this segment would remind you.

    Hope that makes sense.

  • Cable connection part for good - once I started using the wireless NETWORK card!

    Hello

I went although all people in support on this issue, but now I have no other choice than to ask all you people here!

That is the problem. I have two computers with multiple network cards. One is a laptop computer with wireless Draft-N support and 10/100/1000 NIC onboard. The other is a desktop computer with an ASUS Wifi b/g edge and also dual GigE ports nVidia graphics card.

Whenever I try to use network wired for internet or local network even cards use, it died on me. It is impossible to obtain an IP address from the router to use and is unable to communicate with anyone at all. Not even with my local network or even directly to the router (192.168.1.1). If I turn on the wireless card, it connects and everything is groovy (except that I lost my GigE connection to my local network, which is most important!).

I havegone through the standard fare of cyclic power to the router and cable modem, reboot of my machines, etc. all the normal things, we are required to do.

After some hassles with the support of Linksys to get them to send me a new WRT330N, I finally received a new WRT310N and it shows exactly the same problem! Wireless connections work fine, but as soon as I disable the WiFi and wired go, Windows XP gives me nothing else than a message "limited or no connectivity" and let me out of the network.

This leads me to think it's some sort of network problem due to multiple MACs on the same host name. Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

    Thank you!

Disable the firewall on the computer and then also try to connect the computer to the modem and check if the computer is able to connect.

  • Windows 7 doesn't have a network card after that I did a clean install of the operating system

I reinstalled the operating system again and again, and I still have the same problem. What can I do next to install the network card? I am ignorant full when it comes to Windows/Apple stuff (I'm a Linux user, but I need a Windows PC to run specific working software) so thank you in advance for any help.

  • WS370 Precision doesn't have a network card?

I have a WS370 precision running XP Pro SP2(recent purchase from Dell Auction). I'm trying to connect to my network home. Using the computer information of advanced scanner in XP Help and Support Center, it says that the network adapter is not installed. Device Manager lists under cards network, just a 1394 network adapter. I think it's on my sound card. I have a Creative Audigy Audio Processor. Some of the research that I did, some sound cards have a connector for firmware. I look to the top of the map his tho. The back of my computer has a port for a network cable to connect, and the user guide shows (downloaded from Dell manuals)

I plugged the router and the socket at the back of the computer, but its does not work. I have restarted my computer several times. In network connections, the only thing appear is that 1394 under LAN or Internet high-speed connection.

Under the downloads section at Dell it lists two possible drivers. If I am able to install one of them the network card will then appear in Device Manager?

I appreciate any help I can get.

  • PC does not have two video cards installed

I recently bought a HP Compaq 6005 Pro Athlon II desktop, running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I like to use two monitors, so I bought a XFX Plus Edition video card to run my second monitor. Now my PC only sees the new video card. Read the specs for the PC, it gives "integrated graphics" as the description of graphics.

How to recognize the two cards? Or will it? Do I have to remove the graphic card that accompanies it and replace it with another card XFX or can I not do it because it's built? (Not sure what built-in means in this case.)

    Thank you!

    Hello:

I'm assuming that you intalled a PCI express card chart and not a PCI one.

Check your BIOS under Advanced options. Some models have a built-in video (enabled/disabled).

If the parameter is not gray, set to active, save it here you should be able to use your integrated video card and the video card.

If you do not have this setting, or it is grayed out, this means when you install a PCI Express (PCIe x 16) video card, integrated video is automatically disabled and cannot be used.

Run your two monitors two outputs of the XFX video card that you have installed (like out dvi and vga monitors, for example).

I did a few times before.

  • I have two sound cards. Can I use the input to the output to another?

Basiclly the problem I have is that I use one of my as a configuration of 5.1 sound cards speakers (I put the MIC and line as output) and I found another sound card in another PC. The question that I have, that now I'm not a line or a microphone available for the first sound card, is possible to distribute the Line In input of the other card, to the first?

    Hi KiralyAlex,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to perform this task, because at some point that a single sound card can be defined as a default device.

However, you can use your favorite search engine & download any third-party software that could serve the purpose.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    Hope the helps of information.
