For a Web Page navigation menu

How to add link anchors to a horizontal menu?

The menu widget normally takes the various pages, but since it is a single page of the site, it only shows the home page.

I see other sites of a page built with Muse have added anchors to link to their menu.

  • successfully imported bookmarks, but just can't find my web page, navigation history

    Background:
I stupidly pressed the Mozilla was thinking of refresh button is what is. But it's actually a self-destruct button which resets mozilla and so clears all content. Wow. Foolishly I used of course not a miracle, System Restore.
I found the file "places.sqlite" old days and it brought everything back but NOT the browser history. This history of browser is 2 years, and I never realized how much it is important for me so far.

    Problem:
So all I'm missing is the story of my browser.

    Attempted fixes:
    1. I then imported bookmarks backup of bookmarks in a few days on the menu via restore bookmark and same situation.

    2. I copied places.sqlite file from old firefox data and again bookmarks updated but not history.

    2. I searched index.dat (I guess it's history) file and found one, but it is news. None of the elders, we found.

    More info:
NB. I have a backup file pcv mozy (3 months old, but it's OK). But how do I extract the story?
I have win7, mozilla is the most recent version.

Any ideas how to make my web page visited history back? I'm puzzled.

You must be the last file places.sqlite you can find. It is the only hope for history.

First, what is the date/time of the file in the old data of Firefox? Refresh should have set the folder of the settings later, but the effects of the Windows System Restore feature can be unpredictable.

Second, you can see additional profiles in the Firefox profile folder. Type or paste the following text in the search box of the Windows Start menu and press ENTER to load the file:

    %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

It should be obvious to timestamps which is the current folder. Do you see others who may have recent data?

  • location of the file is different for other Web pages

I was wondering if this is bad? I have my set model for my other pages as like... / file name, but when I do my other pages its / User //C / documents / Web site. Fact it puts auto correct when I load on a server or what?

This is how all the links will appear in a page not registered. DW has no idea what is the path to any linked file until you have saved the page, so that it uses an absolute link 'file' to compensate. When the page is saved, the link automatically adjusts based on the location of the saved page, and the location of the file target.

If you have pages that contain links to looking like this, then your links does NOT work when you download the files. Almost always, this problem is the result of not working in a site that has been properly defined in Dreamweaver. Can you see the path you have placed in the part of the file root your site definition Local (edit it with the DW SITE > site management menu option).

  • I can't save it for my web page password

I'm trying to understand why I can't get my web page to prompt me to save my user name and password. This is the information that I got back when you try to debug the password manager, but I don't know what that means:

The character encoding of the HTML document has not been declared. The document will be made with text truncated in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol.

    index.php
Connection Manager (content): onFormPassword to https://bigvinnys.quikorder.com/php/BIGVINNYS/m/index.php
Connection Manager: count logins corresponding to host: https://bigvinnys.quikorder.com formSubmitURL: httpRealm: null
PwMgr json: _searchLogins: return 0 connections
PwMgr json: _countLogins: counted connections: 0
Connection Manager: getting a list of all disabled guests
PwMgr json: _getAllDisabledHosts: return 2 disabled guests.
Connection Manager: getting a list of all connections
PwMgr json: _searchLogins: return 0 connections
PwMgr json: _getAllLogins: 0 connections back.

That means that the password manager could not find a name of user and password field or something different?

In fact, I realized what the problem was. Despite me thinking that the form has a button "submit", it was actually compiled into a page that did not have a formal submission button, but only one type of entrance to the button. Once the type of entry has been changed in one shipment, I could see the backup password prompt.

    Thanks for your help.

When I type in my router (WRT54G2) Web page he asked me a username and password as usual.  But my problem is that I forgot my username and password.  So, how would I be able to find it or reset it?

  • BlackBerry smartphones, why do I need an app for some Web pages?

Please forgive me, because I am a new owner of BB.  I don't understand why I need apps for certain things (Pandora, LogMeIn, etc.).  Here are the sites I want to visit using the browser.  If I was using my computer at home, I would just connect to my Pandora account.  No software has been downloaded (that I remember).  So why can't just visit the Web page of my BB?  I understand if I want to use a real program (Word, Excel, etc.) that the software must be downloaded beforehand, but I only visit a Web page... TIA

But your BlackBerry is not a complete PC, not the same processor fast, etc., and not the same data entry speed, so an application on the device help to 'manage' the spped and debit date on the mobile device by buffereing entry and be simply 'more effective' you can use the device.

  • It is possible to specify settings for printing web pages?

It is possible to specify the print settings for web pages designed by Muse? For example, you can exclude printing background images?

    Hello

You can set the parameter page printer by setting the CSS Style in the page header by typing the tag Style.

You can go to Page > Page Properties > metadata > HTML for.

You can see the link below for more details on the print in CSS properties.

  • Pressing ENTER after typing the URL is no longer responsible for the Web page, trouble?

It used to be that all you had to do was type a half a URL or the whole thing and press enter and the web page would load, now enter pressing is not working, how can I solve this?

Here's the very simple solution to remove from Firefox AVG safe search.
    1. go in Firefox "Help".
    2. click on "restart with disabled modules.
    3. click on "restart".
    4. the browser closes and a popup box will open.
    5. Select 'Reset all the preferences of the user by default Firefox'.
    6. click on "make changes and restart".

    That should do it.

  • Web page navigation action

I added an action of the external Web site navigation to a column and sent the e-mail through agent scan. In the letter, he visited POET firstly, BIEE redirect to the external Web site. If users are going outside, they cannot access the POET while click on links in email. So, any method can jump BIEE and access external Web site directly to the e-mail agent?

    Thank you

Try to use to retain the two options and see. If the agent is the format of the e-mail (it doesn't have in any format) then you should not connect to OBIEE.

  • Latest version of Firefox has been paralyzed for handling web page graphics

I just updated to Firefox version 38.0.1 from version 35. This late update is due to an unfortunate twist practices for a long time, which requires Firefox installs to be interactive. Now an update takes several hours of phone + line tied up, so it is done only rarely.

Once I could just download the package during one of my occasional bouts (of our days, almost every week) a connection high flow, pass on to my computer via a USB flash drive, and then install Firefox in moments, without any internet connection active. It was much higher than the current method.

The point of this letter, however, is a major fault in the 38.0.1 version, which makes it useless for most of my work. I need to know how to return to a better version of Firefox that works properly. > > > > > > Put online, publish, I found the link that hopefully, gt back me to the old version, but I still want this post somewhere where he could get some attention because the current situation is extremely poor. < < < < < <

For more than a year, I wanted to write about a problem that became much worse with this latest version of the browser, but I never managed to work up the energy and the time - my problems made the slightest difference to anyone developing the browser code, I always asked? It looked like a long shot.

Much of my time online is spent downloading of pages of graphs, tables, diagrams and occasional pictures. Because, I suppose, my normal 52 KB/s connection speed is too slow, after 15 to 25 minutes needed to fetch the page of interest, a large percentage of these illustrations show only one link, not the image itself. Right click on the links provided, one option "reload image" from the context menu. By clicking on that would load the image on the page, in place, making it usable article (it is often necessary to get a dozen or three dozen, graphics in this way).

An interesting aspect of this finishing process, it's the very many graphics loaded so completely, almost immediately. Some required 20 seconds, 30, 60 or more, but not the majority.

Failure that I often wanted to communicate to the subject, but never fact, unfortunately, is that some graphics began to load with the page, but somewhere before they finished, perhaps 10%, maybe 95%, they would stop. The lower part of the graph would then show just a black fill, or sometimes a white fill (empty). These partial graphs has never had the option "Reload image" from the context menu.

The option 'Copy image location' has been in the context menu... If I chose, I could try to paste it into a new tab address bar or a new window. This produces the exact same partial graph, indicating that it must be taken from the browser cache/history/something already downloaded part, rather than its source.

"Reload image" always read the chart full, but using the location of the image on these partial graphics, even though it was clearly a web address, has no. To get the complete picture for these partially loaded graphics, I had to close the browser that by my settings, erases always each part of the story. Then using the location of the copied image above, I was able to load the graphic on the web. This has never been useful for the study of an article.

A few times, I've experimented by 'reload the current page'. It was clear that it was not as a useful solution. It can load charts missing or incomplete, taking another 20 minutes to redo the page, but it also ignored, or only partially loaded, graphics that were present and complete the first time the page is loaded. What are the images have been provided only in the form of tags, or are incomplete, seems to be random.

Another flaw is that, pretty often. the images I had to reload were released on the page that it loaded, but then disappear before the end of the loading page. This seems particularly bad performance, since the data obviously had been correctly downloaded. However, I could at least reload these images after loading the page.

I experience a number of times where I had access to high-speed broadband. I've never known completely empty or partially loaded images, so I assumed the difficulty as a feature of my line connection telephone slow. NO, I can't afford a connection high speed, period, for sure, even if having one would be very nice...

In the old version of browser, where 'Reload image' was an option, the obvious difficulty for the problem above with partially loaded images would have been to always provide the option "reload image", no matter if the image was missing completely, partially loaded, or fully charged - always reload the website, never to leave already downloaded material. Simply put the reload option in the context menu for all charts and check that it still works properly.

Now, Firefox version 38 is much worse. It doesn't have the option "reload image". In its place is 'View image' replacing my entire page loaded painfully slowly, with the missing image. If the image is completely absent (a single a tag e.g. "fig 3a"), I can use the 'copy the location of the image', which paste it in a new tab and get the picture on this new tab. It is a very inconvenient way to try to read an article, especially when 27 graphics didn't load the first time.

I only watched two these pages since the browser update. None of these finished with images partially responsible (although they all had two images only as tags), so I don't know if the location of the image 'copy' to a partial image, pasted into a new tab always will only provide the same partial graph. However, this problem, compared to the current impossibility of 'image' Reload in place on the page, is indeed minor.

I can't do the job that I have to do if I can't get the downloaded material. I need a previous version browser which has at least the Reload menu popup "image" option I hope this option will also discount on future versions. It would be really good if the image reload option would be still available for each graph, as described above. Right now I need to know how to revert to the version 26, or a later version that still has the option "reload image".

It sounds like the extension to display selected Images is the best solution, but for later use on the context menu: If you hold down the CTRL key when you click on View Image, it will be directed to a new tab, and if you hold down the SHIFT key when you click on View Image, it will be directed to a new window.

  • How can I change the background color by default for a Web page where none is specified?

There are many versions I've customized the background color if none has been given to brown to go with the skin I used then.

Now, I find with a simple text file is not readable with black against Brown, but I can't find today's version where to put them back to white (or at least a pale color).

    Any help appreciated.

I think it must be the "Background" parameter in the following dialog box:

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > content > button "colors".

Which leaves you choose something lighter for pages that do not define their own color?

  • Firefox support only empty new tabs for all web pages, with the blank url bar.

After an automatic minor update (16.0.1-> 16.0.2), firefox is now completely unusable.

Whenever I try to load a page, it shows only a blank tab labeled 'new tab '.
The url bar of this page will be empty if I try to open a link or bookmakrk.
The url bar of this page will be exactly what I typed if I manually typed a url.
Right click on the white pages does nothing: no context menu.
"Troubleshooting information" page DID load correctly however; It is the only page I was able to display at all so far.

Restart of firefox has not fixed the problem.
Restart of firefox in SafeMode with addons disabled has NOT set the question - so please don't waste time trying to tell me that it's addons.
Change the settings of the network proxy has not fixed the problem.
There is no connection problem: IE can load pages very well from the same computer.

I love firefox mah... but now it's dead... Please help!

    Update: resolved:
Firefox works correctly after you restart the entire computer.

It is bad form to require restarting the computer for minor updates to browser... and even the poorest not to say so when you do.
