For Clips .mp2 batch conversion

I just found out that video for .mp2 support was discontinued in PE13.   I have several directories of archived video clips .mp2 (and associated .wav files).  Is there a way to batch convert PE10 (I have and you can reinstall) or otherwise, any recommended programs for the conversion batch of good quality?

Thank you very much

Bruce

No batch conversion with elements.

HandBrake is a free and very good converter.

  • How can I remove the prompt 'save' when executing a batch conversion ROCK?

    Hi all!

I need to batch convert multiple OCR-readable pdf documents. I have to be able to walk away from my computer and have Adobe Acrobat to make all OCR conversions independently.

In order to implement this action, I did the following:

Tools-> Wizard of Action-> create new Action

I created an action called "Batch Conversion of rock"

By this action, I did the following:
Recognize text-> recognize text using OCR

and I added this to the steps of the Action show.

I made the default action "add a folder".

    I unchecked "questioning the user.

Now, each document is prompting me to "Save" with the following message:

"Do you want to save changes to * *.pdf before closing?
The dialog box is demanding a response before moving on to the next for the conversion file.

As I said, this procedure must operate independently and should not be dependent on a save the file"" command.
    How do I:

    (a) automatically save each file at the time of the conversion?

    (b) set up the conversion in batches and converts (and registers) a number of files on its own?

Thanks for your thoughts and your attention to this issue.

    All the best,
    Shailagh

    Oh! I see now.

Management of the Action-> Save & Export

Move 'Save' in the control panel actions.

    Thank you!

In a sequence of CTF, is it possible to obtain a text file of clips in sequences display (name and duration)? There is a display of text file for clips (cmd-9). Zoom the timeline makes this visible annotation for shorts, cancels but the ability to see the whole sequence of the time line. Of course, it would help my editing.

    TIA

In Final Cut Pro 7, you can use editing > find command to search on used clips in the sequence. See if there is an equivalent command in FCE. Unfortunately, I can't determine that at first hand on my system. (In addition, if you are still interested whereas FCP X, there the so-called Timeline index which provides quick access to a list of markers, clips, effects, etc..)

    Good luck.

I am a user of Picasa for a long time conversion to Lightroom. I share photos with dropbox on a MAC, a Windows computers, storing images and the catalog in dropbox. I'm able to share the LR catalog, but on the second system images can be found as a prefix system DB files have different user names. Any ideas?

At the point of Lightroom to another location for photos, follow these instructions:

Note: If the catalog is constantly being synchronized to DropBox, you will most likely follow these instructions whenever you open the catalog on another computer.

  • Is it possible to change sequence settings after you start a project? Also, how can I know what sequence of parameters are best for clips that I have?

Is it possible to change sequence settings after you start a project? Also, how can I know what sequence of parameters are best for clips that I have?
The clips I have are HD and .mp3. MTS files.

In the latest version of Premiere Pro, it is possible to change the settings for the sequence.

You know what settings are best knowing what you are doing.  (Personally I'm fan of formal education for this.)  I know that sounds sarcastic, but, there is no right answer to the question whose parameters are the best.  There are many variables here, then... you really need to know what you're doing.

    Adobe CS5.5

You can do it in first Pro CC, but not before. Do drag the clips to the timeline in a locker and then export.

    Thank you

  • Batch conversion "opens with".

I am a musician pro and often the default application for files audio iTunes - is there a way to batch processing, change the preference "opens with" for a group of files to another application?

Yes, change you it in the read window information from all of the files, as long as they are of the same type of file. Click to get information, and choose the Application you want to open. Then, choose change all.

  • How can I use A clip to create a mask for clip B?

Hello. I am having trouble with my project.

I have a video with subtitles and subtitle down background. The subtitle is at 50% opacity, you can therefore still a bit see through it. I want to make it look slick and apply the blur of the main home, but only the part that is covered by the bottom of subtitle. I can't draw the mask manually, because real captions and background are animated, so if I had to draw the mask manually I have to go frame by frame, which would take me literally days.

I hope I did my clear explanation. If this isn't the case, basically, I need to clip one area allows you to create an area of masking to another clip. The clip is also animated, so the mask must adapt accordingly. I tried to find a solution for hours without success.

    Thank you in advance.

It is not very clear to me, but you seem to be saying that the subtitle background is animated, somehow? Is this true?

Its size will vary depending on the actual size of the subtitles, isn't it?

And you want the area of the main element which, at one point throws behind this background to subtitle the blur?

  • Batch conversion metric, temperatures, etc. ?

Imagine a data column in a Numbers spreadsheet, where each digit refers to feet. Is it possible to convert the entire column to a metric equivalent? And can we do the reverse - convert meters to feet?

What conversion miles square kilometers square, celsius, fahrenheit and vice versa?

    Thank you.

    Hi David,

What you ask, it's easy to do in number. You just need to know the conversion factor. So many feet per meter and you have your formula. Since C ° and F ° is a little more interesting allows this.

You can see how I created a formula in number to account for the conversion of ° C to ° F. Then I filled it to the bottom of the column. You can do the same with any of your examples.

  • a faster way for PDM-to-Excel conversion?

I connect my packets received using blocks PDM, since it is suggested that IO low is the fastest. Since I need data in formal Excel, after my experience, I run a small code that uses 'Reading file of measure' and 'Write in the file of the measure' blocks to convert TDMS to Excel.

This conversion takes too long, for example 15 minutes from port of 1 million bits of PDM for Excel (I connect packets in their binary form, of 1 and 0). I have attached the VI conversion.

    I have 2 questions:

    1. does anyone know any faster way for the conversion of PDM in Excel?

    2. I need the block 'Reading files measure' in my conversion code since the packets received are saved in TDMS in the form of a single vector, and I need to convert this very long vector in a matrix where each line corresponds to a received packet. Is it possible to make connecting TDMS in the form of a matrix, instead of one vector? This can be slow down my code much.

    Thank you!

    Hi filipfilip,

Have you considered using the TDM Excel add-in? You can then save the resulting Excel workbook and get the desired file format.

More information can be found here:

    http://www.NI.com/white-paper/4906/en/

There is a solution on this post on the forum too which can allow you to do this automatically. I don't know how much faster it would be than your current method but I think it would be interesting to give it a go.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions.

  • Wall charger for Clip Zip

Does anyone have a recommendation for a wall charger for a Clip Zip?

Do not buy cheap generic Chargers if, especially since real Motorola, Blackberry or Nokia chargers can be purchased on Amazon for less $5. A generic charger may damage your player. Many people already have a charger with a usb microphone supplied with their cell phone tip. That would be fine also to load the Zip Clip. Just to be sure, check that it is said on the 5 volt charger. Almost all mobile phone chargers are 450ma or higher.

  • Rates of burden for CLIP

I have a new CLIP 2 GB MP3 player and want to buy a power adapter to charge.  The CLIP uses I believe a thogh of Lipo or Li - ion lithium battery, I don't know.  If this is the Lipo then charge rate is extremely important for safety as overchargeing can even cause of explosion.   I see 500mAh and 1000mAh charge rate adapters for sale.  Does anyone know the capacity in mAh battery CLIP and what type of lithium battery it uses only?  Armed with this information, I can determine the safe load if the lipo is used.

I would say that if it is possible to load the video for USB computers, that the Clip itself has a kind of control circuit load. USB gives you 5 volts so any charger and mini connector USB 5 volt/500 mAmps would be OK.

I'm looking for a new MP3 player that has a radio and is small.  I love audio books and am getting confused on the Clip +.  One place, I see it will keep my place and then the other said: it will not.  I'm apathetic for Sandisk... was an old man, I wasn't happy and went through three in a year...  I like the look of the Clip and I the form of memory Sandisk cards to know that they are good and the only player I've had has to be a bad product line.  I am also looking at Creative Lab and there is no question here... just great.

  • Portable charger for Clip +!

I'm looking for a charger for my Clip + battery began to die after a few hours (max 3-4 h). I use a microSD 32 GB and tracks FLAC, and the battery life is a must for me. I searched some portable AA battery chargers and found some, but most output 5V +, more like 5.6V, according to the battery type. Will 5.6V usb voltage damage the Clip? If it works, I could load the Clip + several times on the road with just a battery, and that will rock my experience with content without loss.

EG: picture a 2500mAh battery load the Clip for 7 - 8 times entirely. And the charger can be connected to the Clip + as a player of ultimate battery juice.

Hey, thanks for the link to ebay, just ordered, it's cheaper than the 1 * AA battery charger, I found on dealextreme. Thank you!
