Batch conversion metric, temperatures, etc. ?

Imagine a data column in a Numbers spreadsheet, where each digit refers to feet. Is it possible to convert the entire column to a metric equivalent? And can we do the reverse - convert meters to feet?

What conversion miles square kilometers square, celsius, fahrenheit and vice versa?

Thank you.

Hi David,

What you ask, it's easy to do in number. You just need to know the conversion factor. So many feet per meter and you have your formula. Since C ° and F ° is a little more interesting allows this.

You can see how I created a formula in number to account for the conversion of ° C to ° F. Then I filled it to the bottom of the column. You can do the same with any of your examples.

  • How can I remove the prompt 'save' when executing a batch conversion ROCK?

    Hi all!

I need to batch convert multiple OCR-readable pdf documents. I have to be able to walk away from my computer and have Adobe Acrobat to make all OCR conversions independently.

In order to implement this action, I did the following:

Tools-> Wizard of Action-> create new Action

I created an action called "Batch Conversion of rock"

By this action, I did the following:
Recognize text-> recognize text using OCR

and I added this to the steps of the Action show.

I made the default action "add a folder".

    I unchecked "questioning the user.

Now, each document is prompting me to "Save" with the following message:

"Do you want to save changes to * *.pdf before closing?
The dialog box is demanding a response before moving on to the next for the conversion file.

As I said, this procedure must operate independently and should not be dependent on a save the file"" command.
    How do I:

    (a) automatically save each file at the time of the conversion?

    (b) set up the conversion in batches and converts (and registers) a number of files on its own?

Thanks for your thoughts and your attention to this issue.

    All the best,
    Shailagh

    Oh! I see now.

Management of the Action-> Save & Export

Move 'Save' in the control panel actions.

    Hello

Unfortunately, you will not be able to convert documents in a batch on your mobile phone. However, the same can be accomplished on the web (https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf) or through the desktop application.

  • BWF batch conversion - workflow Bug of Media Encoder radio station problem

    Hi all

I just thought that I'd share a problem I had, and it's more a question of workflow, even with the latest version of CC.

Hearing can open BWFs end RCS (Master Control switch/Linker, Zetta) software, which is great. I can then save the files in the form of lots in MP3 at 320 k etc.

The problem I encounter is a bad workflow. If I want to convert the files of 1500, I load files in 1500 at the hearing and then sit and wait until they are converted batch.

I thought that there must be a better way. So I decided to try the same thing in Media Encoder, but the program does not support BWF...

I find it a little strange.

In the next version, can you do Media encoding support the same file formats as the hearing?

    Thank you

    Steve

As you discovered Media Encoder from Adobe primarily majors on video encoding formats, but does not contain some of the professional audio codecs based unfortunately.

  • FIR SC645 Cam Options and 16 bit Image to the conversion of temperature

    Hello

I plugged a FLIR SC645 camera via an ethernet connection to my pc.

In Max OR one can see the camera unther NI IMAQdx peripheral. Here I can take a picture and change the focus through the attributes of the camera.

I did a small test program with the "IMAQdx - Snap.vi" so now I have a 16-bit grayscale image.

This estmaintenant Image saturated it start in black like the temperature in the room and turns white at high temp +-90 ° C.

When I measure a halogen lamp, which is about 115 ° C wil gray color goes out again to go above 90 ° C.

How can I change the measuring range.

How can I change the focal length?

How to convert the gray Image 16-bit values to temperature according to the measuring range?

I hope sombody can help me with this,

The type of the input image is not serious IMAQdx because it will convert its format of results. The signedness pixel attribute should work. I suggest to play with MAX attributes first. You can then save the settings and use them in your application.

  • Batch conversion of PDF to SVG

    Hello

I'm the animation with Toon Boom that unfortunately has no SVG export.

The only supported vector SWF and PDF formats, but I really need SVG.

So my idea was frames to export as PDF and batch convert to SVG afterwards.

I know that Illustrator is basically capable of that it has a very wide range of file format compatibility, but I guess it must be done via the script and I have no idea on the scripts.

When searching Google and the forums here, I thought that most people need or vice versa (SVG in PDF format) or with any other formats.

The only script that would meet my needs most is this:

    https://gist.githubusercontent.com/seltzered/4405256/raw/5727a25521093a794c2515976794c6454 39be744/IllustratorSaveAsSVGs...

who's GOT to SVG, but I thought that maybe we can change it.

So how about PDF to SVG? Can someone help me with this?

    Thank you!

    PS:

I am already using Inkscape (and I've installed Inkscape for only that one of the reasons) + a shell script I found, but it is quite awkward.

I prefer to do with Illustrator.

I'm sure the script you have access to will do the job. Just insert the file type in this line:

    fileType = prompt ("select the type of Illustrator files you want to process.") For example: * .ai ',' ');

    That is to say:

    fileType = prompt ("select the type of Illustrator files you want to process.") For example: * .ai ',' * .pdf ');

You would combine the batch script and action to do so. Follow the exact steps I listed above in this thread:

You can do it in first Pro CC, but not before. Do drag the clips to the timeline in a locker and then export.

  • Batch conversion music of 440 Hz in 432 Hz

    Hello group,

I recently downloaded the trial version Adobe Audition and I love this product enough to buy if it can take in charge the following:

I have 25000 songs on a windows PC, and I want to convert batch of 440 to 432 hz.  I can convert each piece individually and the quality is perfect, but it requires my attention every 5 minutes.  Thanks in advance for your support.

    Kind regards

You can save your settings as a favorite changes pitch by clicking on the icon star in Pitch-Shifter effect and giving it a name. You can then apply this favorite added to the part of processing batch files. I think that some people hit a limit number of files, you can add successfully for the batch, then you won't be able to do all yours at the same time. But it should be OK with smaller batches. So give it a whirl while your hearing test is still active.

There is no way to pause Image Processor!

Sometimes, it is possible to use the ESC key to stop it.
