  A good size for the virtual memory is 1 and 1/2 times the physical RAM real.

  Others have different ideas.

  But most of the time, it is easier to leave it up to Windows to manage virtual memory.

  If you receive warnings that virtual memory is low, you need to increase the minimum size of your pagefile. Windows sets the initial minimum size of the paging file to the RAM memory (RAM) installed on your computer plus 300 megabytes (MB) and maximum size of 3 times the amount of RAM installed on your computer. If you see warnings at these recommended levels, and then increase the minimum and maximum sizes.
