  I own a Toshiba Satellite C855 - 12K, I've owned for about 3 years, but 2 weeks ago I accidentally damaged the motherboard, while I was cleaning the computer, at first I thought it was the map screen or video that is broken, because it was weird (cutting, 20 seconds after loading desktop, colorful pixel, thin lines across the entire screen) but after 5 times of commissioning , disabling display, I left alone.
  The next day it would not start at all, so I sent it to a really good computer technician, who called me the next day, saying that the motherboard is dead, and that he needs a new.

  Stupid question I know, but it's driving me crazy.

  I have an external keyboard Port duplicator and the attached monitor. The Port Replicator has a wired Ethernet connection to my local network. When I anchor my R830 in Port Replicator, ideally I would like to turn off the wireless adapter, but at least I certainly want the default use of the wired LAN connection not WiFi.

  Currently, it seems just randomly decide to use wired or wireless connection when I anchor.

  So, two part question:

  1. How can I pay the R830 automatically default to an Ethernet cable when I anchor?
  2. How can I turn off Wi - Fi when I am connected and using an external keyboard (the toggle F8 to activate wireless switch on the keyboard of the laptop does not work on external keyboards)

  If the port replicator is connected to the local network and then the laptop would use the LAN connection automatically if you connect the R830.

  Well, in this case, you can use the internal keyboard to turn off the WiFi using Fn + F8

  I was wondering if anyone knew if the Advanced Port Replicator III (PA3314U-1PRP) would be appropriate for the Tecra A7 (PTA71A-011003). Laptop specifications recommend the Advanced Port Replicator III more (PA3474U-1PRP), although I have found a few references on the internet that the Rep ADV III Port more is virtually identical to the Adv POrt Replicator III. Is this true?

  You are right. Toshiba recommends using AdvPortRepIIIplus with your model of laptop Tecra but I am sure, that you can also use Advanced Port Replicator III 99%.

  I have a laptop Vaio of Fischer-FS742/W and that you want to use a port replicator port VGP-PRFS10V with it, but the laptop requires a driver.   There is no driver needed for the Replicator.  You run Windows XP on it?  If you have upgraded to Windows Vista, 7, or 8, please use the on-board recovery partition or recovery media disks to reinstall the original XP OS.  This particular model is not supported for any OS except XP.

  After the system recovery, go to http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-home.pl?mdl=VGNFS742W&template_id=1®ion_id=1&tab=download#/do...

  Download all of the updates for the PC.

  You should then be able to use the Replicator.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite C855-1KP, part PSKCAE-04600QG5 number, and I can't find the driver wireless on the web.
  I scanned my laptop TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic toll-free and appear to the network:

  Network Realtek RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC = version = MAC address

  All my drivers I downloaded from www.Toshiba.com, all worked, except the wireless driver.

  I tried already some wireless drivers from Intel (Intel PRoSet/Wireless Software and the Intel PRoSet/Wireless WiMAX software), but they give me an error that I couldn't solve (the WiMAX adapter was missing, and the error code was 0 x 302).

  I don't know what else to do. Please help me if you can.
