• How to confirm or force the update of the bios

  I made an update of the bios on my system of 4058-CTO W500, but he is stopped at half way through the ' writing block x of y "Countdown.  Is only the approximately 35 65 and suddenly closed bios window and start the system closing.  He took a /long/ time (about 10 minutes) to complete the shutdown of Windows, but finally made it.

  The system seems to be ok - it restarted, got to the bios screen a couple of times and restarted each time back, then started upward in Windows.  Is this a normal behavior?  Is there a method to check that the bios everything is indeed correct or perhaps force the update again?

  I have the files .iso and .exe for the update of the bios, but when I run the .exe, I get a message that the bios is updated to alread - done this review done watching the whole bios to see if it is correct, or is it just the version number...  I have not tried running the update .iso - type of hope for some feedback before I do.

  If this can help you to sleep better at night, back-in the previous version... and then to the high-flash BIOS flash it again.  But I highly recommend you do so through the ISO version... take the OS completely out of the equation.

  I used to use VMware Workstation 10 and recently upgraded to VMware workstation 11.  However, whenever I try to install a newer version of VMware tools, it will fail with message saying something like "VMware Tools can be installed in the Virtual Machine.

  Yes, I am trying to install VMware Tools within the guest operating system, but I get this notification for all my virtual machines, I'm running.

  I'm under 6 Virtual Machines simultaneously and they run on Windows 7 32 bit OS and configured with 4 GB of RAM, 1CPU, 100GB HD + 5 GB second HD for the swap file, NO printer, no sound card.

  For each virtual machine, I changed about 50 + key of Windows registry and detect the values to hide from all the programs that they are running on the virtual machine.

  I assume due to records, I changed, it confuses VM installer who it is not running on a Virtual Machine.  Then I tried to change all these registers changed to send it back to the original value, yet I is always the same message.

  I must be missing either some registry values or values that I restored is false. But I don't know which is the case.

  I can simply delete all my Virtual Machines and start again with the new virtual machine, but I don't want to repeat this process whenever a newer version of the VM tools out. and installation of windows and search and replace registry values for each virtual computer is full of works.

  So, here is my question.  Anyone know how to force the update / install VM tools in my virtual machine?

  P.S. I added under scripts in the file .vmx for each of the virtual machines.  I don't think it would cause the problem but just in case I include it.

  In a JavaScript in Bridge CS3, I update a value in the XMP metadata for a thumbnail. Later in the script I want to read the updated metadata XMP of miniature, but often the bridge didn't updated metadata at the time wherever I read it. In other words, my script reads the value before the update. I guess there is a problem of ongoing caching.

  I'm new to the bridge of script, and I hope someone here can offer suggestions on how I can (or even * if * I can) force the bridge to update the cache of the XMP metadata to a file so that when I read it later in the script reflect the recent changes. I tried to use Thumbnail.refresh (), but this does not seem to do the trick. I don't mind a slow script, I just want to be able to read the correct value.

  Metadata default bridge updates arrive in the background and not on the main thread, but using the mode synchronous here your script only continues to the next line, until the operation is complete.

• force the update during processor intensive routine

  Hi all
  I have a SWF with several CPU intensive subroutines in a main init() routine at the beginning upward (about a 5 seconds wait).  He needs a preloader not due to active loads but processor intensive routines.
  
  I am trying to create a preloader that will display the progress as complete routines, but when I try to write text field each subroutine fills the textField.text is not updated or the display of the text field is not updated after each completed subroutine.  This prevent me to follow the progress of the opening at the top.
  
  is it possible to force an update to the display list in the middle of an intensive routine of the processor?  I think that flash is supposed to be updated after each image, but I don't see it.
  
  In addition, the text field I am display * before * this CPU intensive routine * fact * display when you run locally but * not * display before the routine executing online.  do not know why.

  The usual method is to use a timer or a setInterval. So if you know that you must create 1 000 vector shapes and you know that it takes 10 seconds to do all the. So, instead of trying to do them all in a single function, you must set a timer that called a function every bit - something like 50 milliseconds or more.

  Then you would make a list of the forms you need to create, start a timer that called a function every 50 milliseconds, each time that the timer calls the function making it (just to be on the safe side) 4 vectors, their traverse the list of those who must be created, then the function would be, the framework would make, any preloader could make and so on. It repeats until the list of vectors that must be created was empty.

  You would most likely want a custom class that has managed it and dispatched a sort of progress and complete events.

  However, I'm not sure why you are taking this approach. You can create all the clips within the IDE Flash and then export for actionscript. Then it's just a mater of their load and preload for this is generally simpler than what you do.

  There are probably also some tips to make things seem to be created and load faster.

  I'm running on a question where I put a flash file containing a flv player in a html page when you access the page from a pop-up box stating "the content of this page requires a newer version of adobe flash player do you want to download it now? I have the most recent flash player. Is this a problem that everyone ran to? I noticed that I see that the box pop up on pages that have content flv - other pages with ordinary sovereign wealth funds are very good and do not present these issues. Any ideas?   I have the code that illustrates my question. My research on the internet, this is a common question, but common responses have not solved the problem. Java compresses the graphic events into one. When the code is executed at the beginning of the executable test class will work correctly. When it is executed in response to the button click event, it compresses the graphic events and only the second color is shown in the background of the JPanel object. I want to have a button to click because of the event the background to change between two different colors with a fixed interval between color changes. I have studied intensively and tried many a different recommended bugs and several of my own scenarios using son and others... all of this without success.

  runs on the Event Dispatch Thread (EDT). Specifically, actionPerformed() is called on the EDT and you then call run(). It is the same thread that manages these invokelater as well as the table itself. He cannot do this kind of things, though, until it ends all that actionPerformed() sleep and get out.   Open Safari while holding the SHIFT key

  Try to reset the settings of Safari:

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

  4. click on remove all data from the Web site

  5. close Safari.

  Remove cache Safari files:

  1. click on finder

  2. look for the menu GO to top

  3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

  4. click library and find the Caches folder

  5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

  6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

  This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

  There seems to be a bit of a problem past, especially with older models of iPad 2. Some people have reported success after that restore their device via iTunes, for others that it has not worked and all they get is a message "bring it in an apple store.

  Since it affects a lot of people, I think it's safe to say that the problem lies in the range of Apple. But I don't think it is recognized or no matter what put forward fix.

  I created an application of labwindows possessing a long process (about 5 minutes). During this process, I use the progressdialog while he waits to complete. If I'm doing something else on the computer, stop the GUI (for example file to open a web browser or text), updated itself, but the application is still running.   You could try ProcessSystemEvents instead of calling events draw - I think that ProcessSystemEvents is implemented as something grabbag of functions that allows Windows to Windows wants to do when you call him, made more than the draw of call events.  From what you describe, your main window is not be repainted.  Normally, the queue of messages in the main window would receive "repaint" the messages sent by the operating system, and it needs to process windows messages to do to repaint.  If you take the main thread and have it do something, he won't have to have a chance to process messages, unless you allow.

  Sleep policy setting does not seem to this help directly, isn't it?  Put the main thread to sleep periodically can help other process go forward, but it does not help your application CVI, I don't think not-maybe I misunderstood the policy of sleep.
