format of port

LabVIEW dear Experts,

Can someone please explain the format of port for digital entries? I just got a new Omega OM-USB-1208FS and I am trying to use its digital i/o lines to control the LED sequences (there are 8 total led and I would do a VI that lights seen LEDs based on perhaps an array of bool, or something like that). I thought maybe format port would treat my U8 as a bit vector and write it in 8 lines from the port of entry, but to test it, I see this isn't happening. If someone could tell me how port format actually works, or even better, a good way to make the VI that I mentioned above, it would be appreciated.

Thank you

P.S. I use of the ULx VI, and the block diagram is attached.

Nevermind that, writing digital port vi just snuck its way in my folder of labview lol

Never heard of it, but almost certainly, there will be a driver to be installed for such a device and you will have to perhaps insert a CD that contains the driver, or connect to the internet to find one, but of course account because of the nature of the device, you will not be able to do through this device and will probably need a wired connection initially for access to the internet.

    -Hope this helps.

  • Check an ADC with the PXI-6259

I use the PXI-6259 M Series DAQ in LabWindows/CVI ADE, and now I want to check if a 8-bit ADC works properly or not.

The entrance to the ADC is a sine wave and I acquire the 8 bits of data (in Digital Format or Port) every time that the A/D conversion is complete. Then, I want to regenerate the sinusoidal wave with digital data using 6259.

The analog channel supports only the numbers to decimal floating 64-bit data format but not Unsigned and data format signed integers, have of I scale digital data acquired for floating-point numbers 64-bit data format according to the amplitude of the sine wave and then regenerate the waveform?

If so, I have to Brown the APFI0 or the APFI1 as the DAC reference voltage source?

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Cannot get LaserJet M175nw print in a network

I just installed a new 100 Pro M175nw LaserJet printer on my network. However, I am unable to print over the network.

    • The printer is connected to an ethernet cable and configured with a static IP address on the network
    • I use a Windows 7 computer for printing
    • All of the internal functions of the printer work properly for example copy, reports
    • Printers when connected via USB to a computer

When you use the printer over the network:

    • Digitization of works correctly
    • The integrated mangement of the printer web page works correctly
    • HP Print & Scan Doctor diagnostic tests give the configuration all green ticks
    • Print jobs stay in the queue until they change to an error state.
    • The printer does not recognize the print job at all - no progress message indicating the print on the console document
    • If the printer is in mode 'sleep' it doesn't wake up
    • Print test pages from the installer of HP, the Windows printer properties dialog box, Acrobat Reader and MS Word all fail.
    • All the symptoms remain the same when I turn off the Windows Firewall
    • An another HP LaserJet 2605dn printer on the network will print correctly on a different IP address, but also using the raw format on port 9100.
    • I removed all the drivers for other HP printers in case there was a conflict - no change after you have reinstalled the software.

Can anyone suggest what I might have forgotten?  Thanks for your help.

    Problem solved.

    Critical steps seem to be:

    • I used the printer management web page (Networking / advanced) to "restore all network settings to their factory default values.
    • I then used the printer console to set the desired TCP/IP configuration - static IP, subnet mask, default gateway. No other changes.
    • The printer then worked correctly.
    • Later, I put the hostname and disabled all network services that I did not - like IPv6, Hello - and the printer continued to work properly.

The configuration of end result is identical to what I had until I can see - but it works now.

Thanks for your suggestions along the way.

  • Error access to groups of App EssbaseCluster-1 to Shared Services

    Team,

When attempting to access the Group of App EssbaseCluster-1 under HSS, we get the following error:

EPMLCM-34040: unable to connect to the olap service. Unable to connect to the Essbase server. Error: Essbase Error (1030024): entry in the format IP: port (null: null) but port numbers not when it is passed to the EssLoginEx of ESSAPI function

    3919273.jpg

This error occurs in the process to access shared Services > > Application groups > > EssbaseCluster-1 (as well as any room listed resulting). Of course, we have problems to run a LCM export because of this.

We use Mcsft. Clustering in an active/passive cluster nodes Essbase (2) for this environment. Everything else works with Essbase. We followed Oracle Tip and instructions of thing for a correct adjustment of the alias in DNS registry of EPM (www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/epm-tips-issues-73-102-1612164.pdf) and we have also ensured that the corresponding component.properties of the file for the EssbaseCluster-1 artifact indicates the correct failover cluster server.

The pointers will be greatly appreciated.

We had the similar problem when build of failover cluster.

Try adding The TRUE FAILOVERMODE in essbase.cfg (and restart EPM and essbase), because the default value is false and essbase does not failover mode

You can see the [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/e10144/under_mods.htm#HSADM682] documentation for the PlsqlDatabaseConnectStringparameter.

If the format argument is not specified, module mod_plsql assumes that the string is in the format HOST: PORT: SID, or can be solved by Net8. The differentiation between the two is made by the presence of the colon to the specified string.

The behavior depends on the 2nd parameter. Apparently, when you set the TNS_ADMIN environment variable (which corresponds to the location of your SQL * Net configuration files), mod_plsql was the connection string (presumably w00) in your tnsnames.ora able to solve.

  • Configuration of SharePoint for LiveCycle connector

    Hello

I have some difficulty of setting up SharePoint to connect to LiveCycle. When you enter the credentials of the user in the configuration page, I get a 401 Unauthorized the share Point Server. However, by using the same credentials, I am able to log on successfully share Point site.

The two systems are sync'd to the same LDAP and I followed the instructions fairly close to Configure LiveCycle ES2 Connector for Microsoft SharePoint.

My settings are in the same way as follows:

    Server: sp.lkp.com:80

    User: spuser

    Password: *.

    Domain: LKP

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

The instructions for the server say:

SharePoint Server hostname: The host name port number of the web application on the SharePoint Server, in the format [hostname] : [port] ., must my link point to something more specific than just the url of the server?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, basic authentication must be enabled for SharePoint 2010. For MOSS 2007 NTLM should also work as it uses NTLM v1, but sharepoint 2010 uses NTLM v2 which are not supported by the connector.

  • How to import from an Oracle data source using the Administration tool?

Trying to create a repository using the tool of Administration and elected to import using the "SPOUT 10 g / 11 g.
However, after you have entered the name of Data Source, the user name and password, I still get error "the connection failed".

According to the help, the data source name must be the full connection string. I guess that means in the format < host >: < port >: < service >. Also, I guess the username and password are the DB schema.

Any ideas why I can't connect?

I tried the tnsnames.ora road, but it still doesn't work. I created a file tnsnames.ora in \Oracle_BI1\network\admin. Is this correct?

    Yes

Try to ping your tnsnames command prompt

    tnsping service_name

I'm assuming that I don't need an installation of the Oracle client on the same PC I have (Windows) Oracle BI 11g installed on. Is this correct?

on which box you are trying to import tables? Client Oracle installed box or not? .If not you put tns entries in your Inbox

Ben is right. After the installation of the operating system as a first step, you need to install driver chipset.
Please see the download page for Toshiba under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com
There you can find all the drivers for your model of laptop including driver chipset.

    Hello:

I am interested to get a model M377 or M477.

I read some reviews on the M277, and they say it's USB port can only support thumb drives formatted in FAT or FAT32, not NTFS or exFAT.

Is this true?  If so, the 377 or 477 take support NTFS or exFAT?

USB 3.0 device not recognized: my iMac a 2011, 4 USB 2.0 ports.  I bought an external WD My Passport for iMac USB 3.0 external hard drive.  It is not recognized by the iMac.  The device works of WD - I plugged on new MacBook Pro from a friend and it worked in the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports and on a newish iMac (I forgot to check the vintage).  How do I obtain backward compatibility so I can connect the WD USB 3.0 device to the iMac, USB 2.0 port?

Data: operating system is current at El Cap 10.11.6. iMac (21.5 ", mid-2011) I've updated the installer of DW disk utilities, but that did not help.

The device has been formatted as Mac OX extended (journaled) using disk utility. If not then of course it will not work, most drives come preformatted for need to be reformatted to work with your Mac and Windows boxes. BTW, have you considered buying a top quality case such as a Mercury Elite Pro (www.macsales.com), WD case aren't the highest quality and tend to have a high failure rate.
