  I use Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider for storage in the database file Microsoft 2000 (.mdb file) for the past two months with no problems, now I get the error '80004005', of Exception occurred in the Microsoft JET Database Engine: could not open the database. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt. I study some forums but could not get a definitive answer as to why this might be happening.

  Please, help me to understand this error so that I can avoid losing data in the future.

  It is impossible to say when the problem occurred, but as Dennis said that Jet is not a robust database. It falls particularly in situations where is is called to manage large sets of data or be accessible from multiple users at the same time.

  In terms of alternatives, they are many if you want to go this route.

  I bought two pal of calendar time. One for my windows 7 that works very well. Second for my windows XP that gives me an error message which can not well the MS Jet database remember file. I was told that my file systems must be corupted. so I reinstalled the Version upgrade CP 2.1 and 5.1 SP 3 and always get the same answer. I look online and realize that it seems to be a timer problem. I'm not a programmer.

  Are you running MSE or other antivirus/security programs stop Windows Defender running?
  Whether Windows Defender is blocked from running by them. McAfee, AVG and many others to do this.

  I've successfully installed the NCLEX - RN 4000 on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium edition. However, I get the error message "the"Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider is not registered on the local computer"whenever I try to open the program.» The package says that the software is compatible with versions of Microsoft Windows Vista and XP. I tried to open the program using program compatibility issues resolution which did not work. I also do a right-click on the icon and choose Properties/compatibility and then selected the most recent Microsoft Windows OS program is compatible with and apply the settings. To my dismay, it was also a no go. I did some research and reading that Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit is not compatible with the programs .msi. So, I checked and found out that the file ends by .msi.

  With all that said, these are the questions that I find myself with:

  What can I do to fix this so that I can use my 4000 NCLEX-RN program?

  Why Microsoft Windows 7 is not backward compatible?

  Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated!

  If someone else has the same problem when you try to run the NCLEX-RN 4000 program on the Windows 7 operating system, you will need to contact Wolters Kluwer Health (the manufacturer of the NCLEX-RN 4000 Review program). The customer service number is 1-800-638-3030. Once you reach a customer service representative explain why you call and they will send you by e-mail an update that will allow the NCLEX-RN 4000 to run on the Windows 7 operating system. • TestStand 2013 error 80004005

  For some reason any, whenever I try to run the sequence editor I get a "system-level Exception" followed by "creating an instance of the COM CLSID {(B2794EF6-C0B6-11d) - 939 C-0020AF68E893 component witch} IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 80004005"

  I followed the patches published, including deleting stationglobals.ini, running 'Selector of Version' etc almost nothing works. The exception is that, after a PC restart, it will work, but very slowly; the sequence editor closing and restarting it brings error 80004005.

  I also tried to uninstall and re - install TestStand as well as complete re-installtion of 2014 DS.

  Short of re-formatting my hard drive and to go back I don't know what I can do.

  Any suggestions would be most welcome.
