SBS 2008 WSUS broken - internal error MIcrosoft corrupted database
Installed WSUS SBS Monitoring Script. checked the that Microsoft internal database is corrupted; need server component Technologies repair disk repair DB. I tried WSS and WSUS repair tool - mistakes happen; Tried to uninstall WSUS with errors; tried to manually install WSUS: internal error of Microsoft file corrupted in the log database. Uninstalled MID. Even impossible to uninstall or repair or install WSUS installed MID, now WSUS reinstall. Help!
Can someone help me with this error and explain how to fix it. The printer worked fine until two days ago.
I finally understood what was wrong. I had changed to AVG Internet Security and when Googling this a reference question had to do with moy. So for me all I have to do is disable the AVG security while I want to print and then turn it back on. I'll call them tomorrow to see if they have a fix so I don't have to worry about turning it off. I can simply go back to Norton that I had no such problem, but I just bought this and put on a few weeks ago so probably will go out just for this year.
Recently our SBS 2008 will be no more complete backup (via the internal function). The error I get is 0x800423F4. With google, I found a Post that says exactly: it is a common problem, but the link to his solution no longer works.

I get the following for encryption: "year error occurred applying attributes to the file", then "strategy of recovery configured for this system contains an invalid recovery certificate" for encryption on SBS 2008. Server doesn't let me encrypt on our network. Our certificate on the server says it is valid and run cipher/r does not solve our problem.
Post in the Windows Server Forums:
I found myself, it's a pretty irritating position.
My SBS 2008 Server has failed and cause me a lot of pain in the process.
There was a fairly comprehensive backup plan in place, Acronis image (daily), picture Windows system (per day) and Bexec.
The last test DA we have worked well and I was able to restore the acronis on a virtual machine and start.
Now, we actually had an error that none of the backups work! All with the same error inside a virtual machine and a physical hardware code.
The error is:
Catering to VM
Load the SBS support to repair the system (it prompt for the password for the Admin user.) Didn't know that he was SBS with AD, we used a different account.)
Download offline NT password, select Admin and password empty
Load the SBS support to make the system repair, sfc scan & chckdsk
Do some reg settings so it does not restart when it BSOD (still can not managed to do a memory dump well.)
All returned without errors and fine.
A restart of the same mistake.
Tried all F8 options, all with the same error. Even safe mode!
Can anyone suggest me please a few alternatives to get it online so I can connect.
I had to reinstall the server from scratch so that it is up and running but some settings that I need to the virtual machine that I just thought that I would be able to restore from a previous backup.
My apologies for the delay in response.

It seems that I am more able to install the Microsoft product. This all started when I tried to reinstall Games for Windows Live as he kept randomly sign out after a half hour of play. After completely uninstaslling, I tried to reinstall it and got the error "an internal error has occurred." The journal is here: http://pastebin.com/d0i1b6ES I have been unable to solve this delivers also the number I got to support GFWL is now supported in Xbox Live.
But it seems that the problem goes further than GFWL. I started by Skype and it needed to be updated, only it wouldn't install the update due to "an internal error has occurred" error code: 1603 and the making available of patches online seem to not work. With a single instance of Microsoft installation set (50461) I also had "an internal error has occurred."
I'm really at a loss with this.
The reason why I am interested in the free disk space on your C partition, it is that it would appear reasonable to perform an in Place Upgrade. To do this, the more satisfactory is to download a copy of Windows 7 on one partition other than C and run together to the top from there. You can then repair the installed copy of Windows 7on your C partition. All you then need to do is install all Windows updates after SP1 update. All programs and data files remain unchanged.
The C: drive
Local fixed disk description
NTFS file system
Size 922,79 GB (990,841,401,344 bytes)
Free space 109.10 GB (117,141,598,208 bytes)
To continue, you would need to create a new partition taking 50 GB of disk space on your C partition. That would leave your C partition with 60 GB of free disk space, and I would prefer to see more. When you have completed the in Place Upgrade you can remove the downloaded version of Windows 7 and to merge the partition in C.
I guess you know the installed copy of Windows 7 product key. Please confirm that you are and that it matches the key specified on the COA sticker on the computer case. Please confirm that the copy of Windows 7 installed is not an upgrade from Windows XP or Vista? Do not post details of the 25-character product key.

There is an on W2008 witch boot partition, that you keep during the conversion. There is no drive letter for this partition. It is not obvious that this is the problem with your conversion, please download bundle of newspaper.
The Web Acceleration Client error (513) - internal error
The Web acceleration Client has detected an internal error that caused the connection between the customer to accelerate Web and server acceleration Web to be broken. A new attempt of the web page may correct the problem.
I get this error at all times when working in the ancestry.com Web site. I have to reload the page on almost every search I do on this Web site. It is the site of the ONLY I get this error message, can run uninterrupted for several hours on other sites and never get this message. I talked to the people at Ancestry.com support and they did 2 recommendations: turn antivirus (did not help) or switch to another web browser. I tried both 11 IE and Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63 m and I have no problem with either of these 2 browsers this error.
Is there a problem with the way Firefox and ancestry.com communicate?

This issue is beyond the scope of this site and must be placed on Technet or MSDN
In July 2010, I've migrated a SBS2003 system to a system of SBS2008. There were a few hiccups along the way, but eventually everything worked very well and the original server was demoted and closes.
Fast forward to today, June 2013, and now that I see errors in the event log that read:
«This server is the owner of the following FSMO role, but considers that it not invalid.»
"This directory server has not recently received replication of a number of directory servers."
And when you run NTDSUTIL I can't join the domain controller by name or the domain name. I always get the following error message:
"Error DsBindWithSpnExW 0x6ba (the RPC server is unavailable".
I have read and tried all the imaginable solutions I could find. However, the difference between my situation and all the other scenarios that I have met is that there is usually another available domain controller. This isn't my case.
Here is my configuration:
1 - SBS 2008 Server.
7 - workstations running Windows 7 Professional
I can't run Active Directory users and computers, Active Directory and approvals, or make changes in the DNS. However, DNS is working and my domain controller points to itself as a single domain controller and resolves the name to the IP address.
That I could track down, it's the original domain controller does not correctly downshift and there is always a ton of references to it in Active Directory, but I can't run any tools to remove the reference and seize the roles.
Is there someone out there who can help you?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions
I would recommend posting your query in the TechNet Forums. This forum is dedicated for windows servers... We'll find a solution much more effective here...
Problem: A user has been accidentally deleted from a Windows SBS 2008 server running Active Directory and we have been unable to grant him the rights of RDP - the error message indicates that the account must be granted "logon through Terminal Services right.
The installer: A single Windows SBS 2008 server running hyper-VM with a unique virtual machine on it which manages the TS licenses
Tried to bugs/more information:
Things that we tried to do to solve the problem (all done via Active Directory users and computers)
- He added to the administrators and remote desktop users groups
- He added to the users group to the remote desktop on the virtual machine (the account can now connect to the virtual machine at least)
- Cloned an existing account on the primary server
- Removed and added the account through the SBS console and added to the admin and RDP groups (on the dedicated server and virtual machine)
None of them seems to have solved the problem. There are currently 2 free licenses of TS, so I don't think it's a licensing issue.
It's almost as if there is a top group policy setting or similar which replaces the user groups is added to, but I don't know where to look for here.
I've already made sure that the user do not have TS access turned off in the settings of the user's

Can anyone help? -The amount of time it takes is stupid! -My phone is up to SP2 using the same install files without worries. I'm almost tempted to stick with no service pack until I have Windows 7, I already pre-ordered!
Any ideas then peeps?
See: Error Message When you try to install updates on the Microsoft Update or Windows Update Web site: "0 x 80073712".
My computer will not install the updates, I tried the fix tool cannot install. I tried to download and install service pack 1 for Vista, cannot install an internal error.
I now have the real drive for Service pack 1, should I try and load this and see if it works?

After logging in, I get redirected to the page that gives you the choice of OUtlook, a computer, or internal Web site. I also can not download graphics nay on this page. When I choose a computer, I am taken to another screen to connect SBS 2008. It is an infinite loop. Any ideas of each?
