  I just bought a HP pavilion touchsmart n056ea 14 supplied with windows 8. I use it for work and they gave me a windows 7 pro 64 bit OS to use instead that it works better with their systems. I formatted the drive and installed the win7 OS now but the drivers online are only for windows 8. Can someone please help me to the source of some drivers for windows 7.   I guess I was not clear... There is no specific document. You are indeed documenting many RPMs that make up a GNU/Linux management appliance. There no such reference even for GNU/Linux then why do you not wait for the ESX management unit which runs GNU/Linux?

  Each rpm has own documentation. Each sysconfig file and / etc is related to a rpm of one kind or another. My example of sendmail is a concrete example.

  Note that this is JUST the contents of a virtual machine for GNU/Linux. It's the void device management system not really ESX.

  Remember that Linux is the kernel, not the ecosystem surrounding it, which is the part of GNU. For Linux, there are several references that are very good... Linux kernel in a Nutshell, understanding the Linux kernel, understand the workings of network Linux

  For each component of the GNU, there are scads of documentation on the web. It will be RPM by RPM. The most complete reference for the part of GNU GNU/Linux are big sellers like RedHat, Suse, Ubuntu, etc.. I would go to the RedHat online documentation, as is the closest to that VMware uses.

  Also note that what you find that GNU/Linux for ESX management machinery will be different in the unit of management for ESXi Posix.

Sometimes my dvd drives disappear. I have to do a system restore to solve this problem. For some reason any Win7 has problems with storage devices. How to stop these dissappearing from my Computer(or not getting a drive letter assigned) storage devices?  It's very frustrating. And, System Restore is not a way to solve this problem, it's just a quick fix. I have three internal hard disks, three hard drives, card reader external drives, USB keys, disks, etc. I need a way to solve this problem when it happens. So far, happened about 9 times in the last six weeks since I installed Win7 64 bit ATU.

  There may be an update of the motherboard BIOS to solve the problem.

  Otherwise, as your card readers are no doubt attached via USB the usual way to solve this problem would be to uninstall the drives and the USB controllers and devices in the system restore.

  I built my own computer and it is ready for an operating system.  I have Win7 64 bit.  I am a student and I am eligible for a reduced price.  I'm a little confused because it says I want to download Windows 7 Professional Upgrade.  This 'upgrade' will allow me to install the OS on a computer brand new with no previous operating system?  I also have the option to pay for a disk.  Is this disc a full version?  If I download this update can I just load into a USB and loading the BIOS? or do I need a full version?

  The price of the student is an upgrade, you can not install it on a blank disc, you will need a full version.

  You can wait until Windows 8 is available which will be significantly cheaper than Windows 7 today. If you need Windows 7, you can buy the full version:

  Right after that I posted this problem it seemed the solution:
  I noticed a pop-up, named "BROWSERSAFEGUARD" who has attempted to set my computer to a "cleaner" for a price. I checked in my installed programs if there was a "Browsersafeguard" and he was there. I uninstalled it, check "incompatible with my system" and my computer turned on like never before. Lightning fast connections and no message more "this connection is not approved. Wow.   In any case, you need laptop with factory settings, preinstalled original Win7 64 bit? What graphics card has your laptop? ATI or Intel? What version is older than the version preinstalled on your laptop via Satellite?
  Your model of laptop is more recent and all the drivers, that you got in the recovery image are essentially the same as drivers on the Toshiba download page. So I think t is old version proposed by Toshiba.
  For example, if you have the graphics card Intel initially we version 8.15.10.2086, the same as on the download page.
  Can you confirm this?

  Not wanting to spend money on a new map to see the same error occurs, I'll now wait for win7 SP1 (ormaybe even 2) in the hope that a workaround is provided.
