Formatting PC - drivers?

Hi all I have a PC with Windows XP pro SP2, but it is full of * and includes a large number of viruses. I want to format it with XP Pro SP3. Now, I don't have the windows cd, but not the driver/firmware cd for the motherboard, graphics etc. I know with Windows 7, you don't need any drivers, Windows 7 takes care of him. Now for a new installation of XP pro, I need CD of mother/graphics card? Or can I install XP and then use the Device Manager to update the automatic pilot on the internet? Thank you

1st stop, you need drivers with windows 7. Windows 7 may be able to get a good driver for your hardware, but it is always better for you to manually install the correct driver.

Now then, you should be able to get the drivers after installing xp, but if the network driver is not installed then you will have no network connection if you will not be able to get a.

I suggest go to the site of the manufacturer of your computer, download the drivers put on a USB stick or portable hard drive or something, then install xp, transfer the top drivers and install them.

  • Can I use 6 discs in a Mid 2012 Mac Pro Server to?

I want to consolidate a couple of servers on a Mac Pro Server. I intend to use a disk to store data and the other as backup (simple clones). 6 TB of hard drives compatible with the Mid 2012 Mac Pro?

    Yes with the following conditions:

-There is a bug in OSX 10.8.4 and later the internal formatting prevents drivers more than 2.2 GB.

This bug appeared in 10.8.4, and has not yet been set. You can

using an any older Mac OS X disk utility, your Mac may initially with 10.7.3, 10.8 or 10.8.3 and therefore the 10.6 DVD and so does not work

Another work around is to move this drive in an external case and delete it there (assuming your case is modern enough to deal with readers more than 2.2 to.

    • When you DELETE a more 2.2 TB drive in an internal drive Bay, it is given the stuff of Logical Volume in Mac OS X 10.8.3 and later versions. Many readers regarded here as a BUG. Logical volume group partitions were not needed and trafficked, re - DELETE and other functions. There are several very different workarounds:

    • Re-CLEAR in a box outside, provided you can accommodate more discs 2.2 TB ("really old" cannot).
    • CLEAR using Mac OS X or Recovery_HD or install predates it 10.8.3
    • Manually delete the partitions of a logical Volume using Terminal Server group.

-For the mounting of sled internal:

The penetration of the screw depth for 'down-screw mount adjacent to the platters' on some readers from over 3 TB have been shortened. This may mean that the live sled down until they adjust and begin to compress the washers on the sled. If this is the case, your drive will not rest flat on the sled and do not breed with the connector backplane without additional adjustment.

OWC now sells sleds that uses different types of mounting holes in the HD to avoid this problem.

You can shorten the screws, or put a washer under the head to ensure they can be warm in the authorized depth. Also, now OWC/Macsales now sells sleds that use the location of the different types of mounting screws to avoid this problem. However, these sleds are only for the Pros 2009 and subsequent

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

After you have lost your product key shrinks your methods

key finder programs won't asssit you if it is preinstalled

    Here are the different ways let you reinstall vista;

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

  • Problems with drivers after formatting

    Hello

First excuse my English, I'm only a French.

So, I need your help because I just decided to format my T60p (2007-CTO), not with the CD of lenovo, but with only the CD of XP SP2.

After that, I downloaded drivers on lenovo Web site and run them. But I have already some problems (no sound for example) and when I go into the properties of the office, in the management of devices, he notices me I have some devices not recognized (with a yellow "?" in "other devices"). Here is the list of the drivers that does not recognize:

    -BCM2045B

    -Biometric coprocessor

    -SM bus controller

-Audio device on High Definition Audio bus

    -Unknown device

-Device modem on High Definition Audio bus

However, I have downloaded all the drivers there I think, so I don't understand. I put you below a list of all the drivers that I have installed, in the order that I have installed (with the reference number of the driver, as we have by downloading on the lenovo website and the description of the driver):

-kb888111xp2fr - class driver Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio (Q888111)

I think that just the order is important until the pilot "ThinkVantage Access Connections" because I read once downloaded drivers that some necessary drivers installed at the top of the list.

If someone (who can understand my bad English) can help me to install the drivers that I miss, it will be very nice :-)

    Thank you

    1. just something checkin: Lenovo driver facilities require two steps 1. Extract 2. Install. When you double-click on the driver download are extracted, usually in a C:\DRIVERS folder. Hello:

The first ID that you posted is for the wired network, a wireless card.

First install the driver for the smbus controller and reboot.

Then, install the graphics driver for the ID PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_6760:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-99756-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=4063&product=5116880&sw_lang=

The wired network adapter driver is this one.

The wireless network adapter will be listed in the other devices category in device like a network controller Manager.

That's what I need the ID of the hardware of to get the driver for the wireless card your model uses.

    Hello S.e.91,

If you have a full retail version of Windows 7 to install. There is no need to format, Windows 7 will do all the necessary work. All the necessary drivers for the operating system will be loaded directly from the Windows installation disc. After installation, you will begin to install other software that you have purchased; all the necessary drivers for this third party software will be, once again, from the software disc.

If you have an upgrade copy of Windows, you must install an earlier version of Vista, of Windows before moving on to a more recent version of Windows.

If you install a full commercial copy (in other words you bought yourself a converted copy of the operating system) you can find this link on my site useful: http://winuser.co.uk/09_installing_windows_7.aspx
