  I tried to download patch 17448420 for Oracle 11 g 2 patch v11.1.2.2.0, forms/States, but could not find it. Is it fixed in this release? I couldn't see it in the bugs fixed list of v11.1.2.2.0.

  Hi Anil,

  Not sure why it is not included in the list, but this patch is resolved in 11.1.2.2.

  You can check the doc below which also says "Note that the patch manifest is already contained in 11.1.2.2"

  I followed metalink note Deployment of JRE (Native plug-ins) for Windows customers in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 [393931.1 ID] and he wants to patch 14614795 by the following statement:
  

  Done Oracle 10.1.2.3 or higher with the Patch 14614795 or later (see Document 437878.1 entitled, "upgrade OracleAS g 10 forms and States Oracle E - Business Suite Release 12' for the latest patches available forms ')

  Document 437878.1 calls for patch 14825718 that I installed and it has the following statement:
  

       Note 2: 14825718 patch is the latest patch of bundle of forms which includes the JRE 7 Patch 14614795patch.

  
  

  I do not see 14614795 listed in 14825718 or in lsinventory opatch.

  Patch 14825718 is NOT included in the Patch 14614795.

  You do not need to apply the Patch 14614795 and if already applied you will have to roll it before application of the Patch 14825718 (since they conflict with each other)-see Note 1 under the section "step 3.2: install forms Bundle Patch»

  Then, you should be good by not applying Patch 14825718 .

  Do you mean the form version? If Yes, use ropes or the command adident.

  I set up a new server with Windows 8r2. Install Oracle 11 g 64 bit.

  Mounted 10 32-bit Desktop windows forms [32-bit] Version 6.0.8.11.3 (Production).

  I am able to connect to Oracle 9i. but I want to connect to Oracle 11g

  Are there measures where I can solve my problem.

  already had made the following changes to the server

  C:\ > sqlplus/nolog

  SQL > connect / as sysdba

  Conectado.

  SQL > shutdown immediate

  SQL > startup restrict

  SQL > alter database character set internal_use UTF8;

  SQL > shutdown immediate

  SQL > startup

  Under sqlnet.ora I changed

  NAMES. DIRECTORY_PATH = (TNSNAMES, EZCONNECT)

  SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_SERVER = 8

  SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_SERVER = 8

  SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_CLIENT = 8

  I'm still not able to connect.

  1. what error message do you receive forms 6i when you can not connect

  2. what level of Forms 6i patch do you have?  A more recent patch level may be required.

  The listener servlet does not communicate with the database, but the forms runtime doesn't (via SQL * Net).

• Forms freezes when scroll datablock

  I don't know if the problem below should be posted here. If this isn't the case, please redirect me to the correct forum.
  
  When a user scrolls a datablock (with more than 100 lines), the page hangs and will not respond to any other mouse event. The cursor indicates the symbol "busy". The only thing we can do is to close the browser and the applet. This phenomenon can be reproduced. It's arbitrary.
  We have oracle application server 10.1.2 with SSL. Revenge of the forms have the following parameters: QUERY_ALL_RECORDS = no, the number of records in buffered memory = 0. The forms are developed under oracle forms 6i and compiled using oracle forms 10g client R2 builder.
  We sought this known issue and got some results on the benches of the forms 10g application (9.0.4). Are there similar patches for Oracle forms 10g R2?
  If not, how to fix this freezing?

  There was a known problem that caused the scroll to the last record to reach crash blocking and/or form. This problem has been fixed. However, there is no way to really know if it's the same thing as what you are experiencing. Just because the symptoms of what you describe may be similar to what I described does not necessarily mean that the root cause of what is / was the same.

  I recommend that you use the last of all software. Here are the details of the patches. They must be applied in this order.

  1 patch 10.1. 2.3 (until March 2008) same patch for the iAS and ID

  ..... Patch ID 5983622

  2. Forms recommend Patch

  ..... Patch ID 9282569

  3. If you are using Jinitiator, the latest version is 1.3.1.30

  ..... Patch ID 7410076

  If you are using Sun JRE, the last is 1.6.0_20 and can be downloaded here:

  Do not do that the DDL statements in a before insert trigger
  cause you are submitting a commit in the middle of a transaction of forms!

  Use a key trigger or button as a trigger:

  Can you define what are these files?
  If they are former security patches and the new update covers the same questions, you can simply delete them.
  If its media then check if you have another copy of each file and then deletes those that do.
  If they are previous versions of the program "windows media player" its up to you if you want to keep or uninstall them.
  I suspect that it is a bug.

  , MOS document 1594274.1 told me to apply WLS patch 16083651. But, MOS says download this patch is obsolete, and I leave MOS patch download overthrow ALL documentation. Apparently the patch in the document is very old, and patch 17572726 is the last (there are between the two other versions).

  Application that is no problem, but apparently this kind of task, named PSU, associated patches "PSU overlay" lasting for access. In the document of MOS is not valid, because this one is related to the former PSU patch.

  But I don't see the documentation for the task of power supply which should indicate his own patch needed after. Perhaps there is none, perhaps it is not necessary for this version. • R12.1.3 - FRM-92095: Oracle Jinitiator too low version

  R12.1.3 running on RHEL 5.8 - 64-bit environment by using IE 9.

  Fact a work environment cloned after reading about some positions of Steven Chan on the upgrade to JRE 1.7.0_45 and "users must sign their own jar files.

  I was talking to DOC ID 1591073.1.

  I applied patch 17191279 and ran adgrants.

  I created the key pair and gave my adkeystore.csr folder to my colleague to get a signed certificate. Now, I'm not sure that part worked properly but as I got the error message about 'Impossible to establish the response string' so I intend to come back and revisit these steps, but I thought that I could always go ahead for now and fix it later.

  When I try and launch Java I get the initial warning unsecured, but I can also the "FRM-92095: version of Oracle Jinitiator too low." "Please install the 1.1.8.2 version or higher ' error.

  Which lead me to Doc ID 1301320.1 (spots on the top of forms overlay patch bundle).

  I ran runinstaller from patch 6640838 and everything seemed to go through the documentation, but at the end of my version opatch is only 1.0.0.0.61 instead of 1.0.0.0.62.

  I am also looking to deploy (plugin Native) JRE for Windows customers to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 393931.1).

  At this point, I'm not sure what I should do or what would be appropriate to follow procedure.

  I created a SR and one suggestions was to refer to the Doc ID 1547786.1 and it suggests the application of the hotfix 14837539.

  The fact and which seems to solve my problem!

  Now I just need to work on my jar file signature or whatever the correct term is.

  Would be really nice if you included the text of the error message with your error number.

  What you're trying to do... are the nav_display to the same height and width as the window? If its position is nothing else than to 0,0, then you will get this error. In addition, items are assigned to a painting, not a window, so you should use get_canvas_property.

  I doubt that this has nothing to do with "patch18.

  We migrate from Forms 10 g to 11.1.2.0.0 forms and have a problem with ToolTips.
  
  If the mouse cursor can move quickly through an element that has the ToolTip text, the ToolTip may appear after the cursor has left the question. As the slider is more above the element, the text ToolTip rest on the screen unless you move the slider back to this point and away from him once again, or place the cursor on another element with the ToolTip text. This issue does not appear in the previous version of our forms 10g.

  It is / was a known issue and has been corrected. Also, just a tip, question reproduced in all versions starting with 10.1.2.3. Fixes are available as follows:

  Forms 11.1.2.0 - use Patch ID 14037368

  11.1.1.4 forms - use Patch ID 14058674

  10.1.2.3 forms - use Patch ID 14041415 (some platforms might not available yet) it also requires that Bundle Patch 9593176 be installed first - don't forget to read the included Readme as other required patches may be required.

  in Forms 6i (Patch 17) and forms 11 G R2, I tried to draw a small line on the canvas. It should be shown in dotted style. In the range of property the property appears as 'dotted', but neither in the Web and or executed fmx. It always appears as a full range. When the width of the line very fat the dotted design line is visible in the Web, but not in the fmx. I want to draw a fine (1 point) dashed line.
  Am I experiencing a bug in formsbuilder?
