Formula member of Smart View

Hello

Can someone tell me how to see memebr smartview formula 11.1.2.1.?
I have opened the online form and select the Member that formula and clicked on the formula of Member under "more."
The page has just made a nod, I couldn't see anything other than...

Thank you very much

Is ownership of "Member formula" activated for dimension with the formula in the form design, if it is not then in theory you should not be able to view the formulas in Smart View.

See you soon

  • View the data in process management in file based on a Smart View formula

    Hello

Is it possible to view the status of the process management of an entity (document, approved, etc.) in a formula-based Smart View file?

I know that I can change it in Smart Display Options, but as far as I know it is only for Ad - Hoc.

    Please notify.

    Thank you

    The available functions are only:

HSSetText, HSGetText, HSCurrency, HSDescription and HS Label; to return the State you need a function that provides information based on the settings of the formulas and is currently not available, so you will need to write an ad-hoc report or VBA to fill in the runtime of a button.

  • Display the member name and the alias in Smart view

    Hi gurus,

I have a request from ASO (version 11.1.2.1) where the dimensions of the customer and the provider have names and alias names. Member name field contains the customer number (vendor number) and alias contains the full name. Now, I created a query using the query designer where I selected the "Member name and description" option in the Option Member Smart View menu in Excel. But, while I fetch data from the query, the system only returns the alias name and alias name + not a member name.

Can you please how can I get both? The Smart View User guide says that "Member name and description" displays the full qualified names and descriptions (alias).

    Thank you.

If you want to view the Member and the alias, then this is a new feature in 11.1.2.1.102

  • Smart View-> Options-> Member Options-> RadioButton 'Top' or 'Bottom '.

    Hello

I installed Essbase 11.1.2 and uses Smart View with Excel 2007.
I'd like to see total first and then on down the details below my total (instead of the top my total, which is the default behavior).
Under Options-> Options-> member select Enterprise-> we can set the 'Low' on 'Top' radio button Has anyone tried this already? It works for you?

Thomas, I discovered really only a way to display the totals of all. If you set up a SmartSlice you can choose your options where you want your ancestor will appear. You can choose to have it appear at the bottom of your retail or above. I hope this helps.

  • Smart View drilldown inserts additional rows in Excel

Question: Additional blank lines inserted on the second descent of the dimension of the lines.
The Smart View version: 11.1.2.2.000 (Build 434)
Excel Version: 2007 running on Windows XP SP3

Aftering digging a dimension on a line of an ad-hoc query and drilling then upwards, it does not appear that Smartview 'cleans' extra blank rows on a grid on which he hasn't needed. As a result, drilling down on one another Member of the line inserts a large number of blank lines between members of drill down, a line for each of the lines of the grid not erased.

A solution for this is to remove all empty lines in the grid before you drill down on the second dimension. But it's bad enough from a user perspective. Mutiple users encounter the problem. If someone has encountered the same situation and, if so, did you find a fix?

This is a know bug. The work around is to disable "Preserve formulas and comments on Ad-Hoc operations (except Pivot)" in the options of the Member before you start to do your zoom in or out. (new listing) I suggest making it default and then having the zoom add formulas as needed.

  • Submit the data Smart View

    Hello

We cube essbase with Smart View 11.1.2.5.500, users put in place their card smart view presentation technique that extract data from their financial model, my question is that

When users are ready to send data and connect to essbase, forecast data in the spreadsheet disappear, replace data into Essbase (is there nothing in essbase yet obvious), is any way to avoid this?

I can add leaf with connection to essbase, then copy the value and submit, it works. But of course, it is not very effective.

I don't miss something in the smart display setting?

    Thank you

Dan is correct.  It is expected when connecting to Essbase of Smartview behavior.  The work around what he suggests is also one I have my team to use.  It has additional benefits.  You can do your work on a single sheet and then copy - paste special values only to the Essbase submission page.  In this way, you can use the formula to create your presentation, but not the formula on your shipment page.  Then, you can create a page of validation to make sure that the data matches between the two.

  • Smart View removes non-members of the model after Ad - Hoc analysis

    Hi all

I have a spreadsheet that I recovered using Smart View 11.1.1.3 against Essbase 11.1.1.3.

When I update this spreadsheet against using Smart View 11.1.2.5.215 11.1.2.3.500 Essbase spreadsheet seems to be remove the cells whose content is not a member in the database.

Rest of the worksheet correctly refreshes and I receive the correct data in the worksheet by using the last smart view, but I need to have the content which is withdrawn.

Anyone has any idea what is causing this question to ask?

    Thank you

This has been resolved by an Oracle Doc ID 1571254.1

  • Smart View "Free-Form" vs Excel Add-In

The following recovery of Sample.Basic is valid in Excel Add-In:

    Real

    100 10

    Jan

    New York City

    1234
    Connecticut5678

It will recover in Smart View, but always immediately converted to this:

    Real

    100 10

    Jan

    New York City

    1234
    Connecticut5678

Note that the scenario and product members jumped over to 'stack' on the Member of the year.

I can't find any way to stop what is happening.  The context is to convert legacy Add - in reports.  Users want to change the layout at all, so avoidable.

It's actually very interesting. Older versions of the Add-in would not put anything in cell A1. Around 6.2 version that has changed and he greeted.  I'm afraid that you won't be able to change this behavior.  In the case of the add-in, he treated it as header a little information as the POV in Smart View. According to Smart, this is considered column information.  If the scenario and the product were overall instead of to the bottom it would act as the POV of smart.

  • Migration to Smart View Code

    Hi all

Are there compatible functions in Smart View API to replace the below given functions add-in Essbase for the parameters provided, I tried to find the same Oracle doc without success

    HypSetSheetOption (Null, False, 15)

    HypSetSheetOption (Null, 16, False)

    EssVSetSheetOption (Null, 13, True)

    Thank you

    Rachid

Not a big deal r.  I don't have them memorized.

    16 HypSetSheetOption t - it, isn't? Table 5

You select alias 'On' with this Add-In function.  However, if you want to 'Description Only' (value 2) or 'names and Description' (value 1) in Smart View depends on whether you also use option 24 ('turn on the member name and Alias setting') in the add-in code, I think.

In short, Smart View HypSetSheetOption 16 option replaces the combination of options of the Add-In EssVSetSheetOption 13 and 24.

I'm looking to the last documentation available for the two-SV 11.1.2.3 and Add-In 11.1.2.2.

  • When you perform queries Smart View Ad hoc, changing the selection of the Alias in the Essbase himself Ribbon

    Hyperion Planning

    GPE, Fusion edition, 11.1.2.2

    Smart View 11.1.2.2

When running Smart View Ad-hoc queries, selection of the Alias in the Essbase Ribbon does not.

When I start a new query, the Alias in the Ribbon of Smart View is always set to None; but often, not always, the selection will change itself no default - usually after I refreshred/zoom a few times.  He starts a time past, I change the selection of the Alias in the Ribbon in none, but it changes just itself by default again.

The option to display the name of the Member is defined on behalf of members only.  (This is the default setting for this option and I usually begin with all the options, by default).

This problem started after that we went to 11.1.2.2.

If neither know why the Alias / None change automatically in the Essbase Ribbon?

    Thank you

    Veronica

There is a way that you can set for your connection

When you use shared connections to connect to your application, you do a right click and say "Add to private connections". Once you have added to your private connection, right click and click 'Set Alias Table'. You can do this on a connection that you have added to private connections

  • Read access to the members of scenario in Smart View

    Hello

In the current context of Hyperion Planning, we want to revoke write access to some scenarios (for example real) after loading data in the month is complete. Say I want to allow the user to enter data only for the current month i.e. Ms FY13.

I would update the Member properties of scenario as follows: start month = Sep, end month = MS, start year = FY13 end year = FY13. When I access scenarios through forms, this allows me to enter data only in the MS FY13 and other months seem to be read-only. It's quite OK.

However, if I can access the same scenario via Smart View or add Essbase in, I can modify or write data throughout all the months of the scenario. The scenario properties do not come to play. How this situation can be treated.

I want to update the (real) script to be read only for all months except one after loading the actual data at the beginning of the month.

Start the month setting end months of planning is there only when access you it through a programming interface. (Which you already did).

You can get this out-of-box like you can not affect safety on the period, what you can try is (I did not try, so it may or may operate Word) try to modify the filter for a user (in environmental assessments) and add year period combination.

If it works, then you need to add a mechanism where after each planning security update this update goes into Essbase.

  • Selection of members deliver Smart View 11.1.2.1.102

    Hello!

I have a problem with several different cubes when you access the selection version Smart View 11.1.2.1.102 member function. The problem is related to 4 Essbase cubes, but among the 4 are two ASO & BSO.

When I select the name of Dimension higher, more on the left and click on the selection of members, NO display names of members and the drop-down list is unavailable. As soon as the Dimension is moved out of the POV, I am able to see the list of full member. It also means that the Member who moved into the top, leftmost now has the issue of not being able to select all members (some dimensions are very well regardless of their position).

I am able to move the members by rotating the dimension and the selection of member function behaves normally, for some, but the question pop backup as soon the dimension is moved to the position of POV.

If anyone has encountered this before with SmartView problem and has a solution, please let me know. I'd be happy to clarify my question if anyone knows not what exactly I'm describing.

    Thank you for your time!

There was a bug in 11.1.2.1.102. I don't know if it has been fixed in 11.1.2.1.103 or 11.1.2.2 (I think as 11.1.2.103)

It does not hurt to upgrade you to a higher version of Smart View

  • ERPi landing page is empty when drilling of HFM/Smart View

    All,

We implement ERPi 11.1.2.2.3 and have successfully used to load data from a source Oracle GL system in to a HFM 11.1.2.2.3 target system.  We have tested and experienced that pierce the works of Oracle GL of the loading of data established by clicking on the hyperlink source amount.  However, when we try to break through to the ERPi landing page of a grid of data HFM, shape or Smart View using the drill by the ERP Integrator option, the landing page says "No Data to display" in Pierce through summary and drill through the details of the form.

We missed one configuration step in ERPi?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Mariko

It turns out that this problem was caused by two things:

    1) ensure that your security is set on activate via drill with ERPi

    (2) the drill by POV is case-sensitive - if you use a grid of Smart ad hoc View, you must assign your POV exactly the name of the Member (I tend to type in lower case all the when you use an ad hoc network, when in reality, the members are a mix of upper and lower case)

Who said: I noticed that in HFM 11.1.2.2.3 the POV selection in grids of data (and also process control) affects your selection to lowercase for the scenario, vision, value and many of our custom dimensions.  I don't know if it's a bug or a configuration problem (the POV has case-sensitive appropriate forms of data), however, you can avoid drill - through data grids.

    Thank you

  • Waterfall in Smart View 11.1.1.3 feature

    Hello

I need to use the Add-in "Cascade" in Smart View 11.1.1.3 (open several leaves per Member)
Y at - it a patch that gives this feature?

    Thanks in advance,

    Joven

I don't know that there is a parchment (except 11.2.1.1.103) but you can use it or smart 11.1.2.2 View with your 11.1.1.3 instance. They have improved the function Cascade in 11.1.2.2

  • Drill to Essbase Studio Thru Smart View

Summer face to pierce through problems to access smart reviews based rpt with Essbase Studio, Smart view recognizes drill thru rpt but would only generate headers on drill definition report relational access through data is missing.

Here are the parameters passed to drill through the newspaper.

    Run DTR name: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Drill reports Thru'-'ExpensesTestDrillThru '; args: hierarchy: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Hierarchies'\'Responsibility': class: ' \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Dimension items------"RespMgmtStructure"------"Level0": "3510.8365.0000000", hierarchy: ' \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Hierarchies'\'Accounts: class: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Dimension Elements'------"Acct_Level"------"child": "60100", hierarchy: ' \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Hierarchies'\'Years: class: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Dimension Elements'------"years"------"years": "FY-2011", hierarchy: ' \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Hierarchies'\'Time periods: class: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Dimension elements------'months' of "------" TimePeriods: "Sep"

His simple straightforward drill relational through where all columns are of the single fact table.

Drill Thru intersection is named 4-column
    Responsibility
    Account
    FiscalYear attributes
    TimePeriods

tried the two standard GUI based summary report and SQL custom, also tried using SQl custom directly within SQl parameter passing these drill products required through data, you can also use Essbase Studio break through content report GUI test based passing parameters (filter values) this product good value.

issue seems to happen on the forest to view smart thru where its not not brining in data on drill thru (only report headers are displayed).

Essbase studio server is 64 bit windows 2003
While Foundation server and RDBMS is on the box of 32-bit windows 2003, SQL server 2005.

    Any suggestion or ideas appreciated.

We use the EIAS for production and it seems to be more stable in Essbase 11.1.1.3 than the studio version.

Go to the pull request and copy it. then using the message replace the $$dimensioncolumn$ $ and $$columnvalue$ $ with the values
    so, for

    Run DTR name: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Drill reports Thru'-'ExpensesTestDrillThru '; args: hierarchy: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Hierarchies'\'Responsibility': class: ' \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Dimension items------"RespMgmtStructure"------"Level0": "3510.8365.0000000", hierarchy: ' \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Hierarchies'\'Accounts: class: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Dimension Elements'------"Acct_Level"------"child": "60100", hierarchy: ' \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Hierarchies'\'Years: class: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Dimension Elements'------"years"------"years": "FY-2011", hierarchy: ' \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Hierarchies'\'Time periods: class: \'ExpensesAnalysis'\'Dimension elements------'months' of "------" TimePeriods: "Sep"

It seems that you use a member called Level0 to the dimension of the responsibility to a value of 3510.8365.0000000 and to represent the child of Member having a value of 60100 etc..
Remember that you will have to put in the CP_number before the name based on the table alias. So if Timeperiods resembles join TimePeriods cp_101 then your $ $ColumnValue$ $ is replaced by cp_101.Months and bets of $$ $$ColumnValue replaced by 'MS '.

Make these changes, and then run the query using a sql tool
