  I stopped the hardware acceleration and firefox open in normal mode. My programs still have the problem of launch. (Quicken and PCMatic) when I open them when they try to open I get a launcher has stopped working. I get the same problem with IE as well.

  Make sure that you don't have the SHIFT key when you click the shortcut on the desktop to launch Firefox.
  
  Also check the properties using the context menu which - safe-mode switch is not added to the target (command) line.

• I don't have a navigation bar and firefox does not open in safe mode to return to the default configuration. Does not work reinstall. Any help please.

• Could not open in safe mode; Impossible to uninstall ESET; Impossible to uninstall RegEdit

  1 problem started trying to uninstall ESET antivirus.  Error message says that C:\Program Mechanic\Data\map.ddat Registry; C:\Program mechanic\DAta\values.dat Registry; and this: \Program Files\Registry mechanic\Data\keys.dat is missing and need to reinstall.  Don't know how to do this.  With this number, ESET says to uninstall in safe mode.

  2. for safe mode, by Windows F1 help, the "shut down" instructions say, select "restart and you select 'safe mode'.  I "turn off computer" but not "shut down" and have all the options to select Safe mode.  I tried several times to restart the computer and tapping F8 to open in safe mode.  It does not work.  By Windows, a virus may prevent it from working?   I don't know how to fix.

I don't know why you try uninstalling NOD32, but to switch to secure Mode, you must turn off your computer, and then restart it. As the computer restarts, repeatedly press the F8 key. That you will get the diagnosis menu where you can use your arrow to select Mode without failure.

  I don't know what you mean by "Reg Edit" either, but my guess is that your computer is infected and that you or someone else using the computer installed all kinds of registry cleaners/optimizers garbage in a vain attempt to get it repaired. Uninstalling these programs and perform in-depth analysis of malware.

• Why my VAIO VGN-FZ31S with Windows 7/Vista will only open in safe mode?

  I've been having a lot of trouble recently and think that it was caused by a virus.  However my Vaio only now starts in safe mode, and I have warnings that firewall is not on, and Microsoft Security databases are not executed.  However, I can't download MSE on the web, because I get an error message telling me that I can't download it because I am in safe mode.  Similarly, I get the same messge when trying to do other operations.  How can I get the computer opens in normal mode?

  I have problems with my PC after windows automatic 10 download replacing Windows 7. Some of my devices not working IE: printer. So I uninstalled windows 10 and can now get on my PC in safe mode with network. Reboot it comes up with the repair option that I pressed and he can't fix it.
