• Help, please. New CS 4 error: cannot move the objects. the requested transformation would make some objects fall completely the drawing area.

  I know that this is not a 'new' error message, but I never got on the previous versions of Illustrator. I just upgraded to CS 4 and get it now on almost all files when I try to move an object in any direction. Not that it matters, but these are files that were created in previous versions of Illustrator and I never had this problem. I followed the instructions of similar positions without success. I zoomed way toward the edge of the art Council: there is no hidden layers, objects or guidelines, no persistent points of the guidelines are erased, or objects of any kind anywhere near the edge of the box art (which, I know it, is huge compared to the size of my working paper of 11 x 17)

  In addition, on occasion, when I CAN move an object (usually a JPG or PDF image that I placed in the document), the image disappears. I think it is always 'there' even if I'm not. Any suggestions?

  Is it possible that your keyboard Increments area struck a giant number? Check under general preferences. (removal of preferences would also reset it)

  Also, to double check - when you zoom in completely to where you can see the limits of the editing table (so you're zoomed out to like 5% or something like that) UNlock all United Nationshide all and select all, is your framework of selection within your page?

  I am trying to create an organization chart into pages. Almost every time I try to move an object (a text box or a line) to place it somewhere again, he climbs to a weird spot on the document.

  This error comes when something's not the Drag of Mac event handler.

  Restart the machine should solve the problem.

• Impossible to move markup objects [iOS]

  When I open the application initially, I can move markup objects (drawings, comments, text, etc.). But as soon as I add text, I can no longer interact with the document except to zoom in or out. This includes text selection or move objects in markup.

  I have experienced several times and the result is the same: if I close the application and then open it up, I can initially move and resize objects. But as soon as I place text, I can only place new items, not interact with any existing ones.

  I am on iOS 9.2.1 on an iPad Mini 2 (ME276C/A), and have just updated the application Adobe Acrobat Reader (16.02.23).

  Please try to update the Acrobat application. The latest version is 16.03.15. I tried the workflow with the Player app update and it works fine.

  Chances are that the image is the same size as the document. You can either add Web Image > canvas... size , use the crop tool and do drag outwards to create more space, or reduce the size of the image ctrl-t or command-t then scale the image inward.

  I use Illustrator CS6. When I select an object and open the window move (either by pressing the Enter key or by selecting object > transform > move), I try and move the object at a given angle and at a given distance. I leave horizontal & vertical dialogues empty and just fill the information for the Distance and Angle. When I press OK (or copy), nothing happens. In all previous versions of Illustrator, this feature worked perfectly. I can't make it work in CS6. What I'm doing wrong or what setting I'm missing? Thank you

• CC Illustrator crashes everytime I move an object

  Last night my CC AI started crashing every time I tried to move an object. I tried all the different files with the same result.

  I have run all the updates of all of my Adobe software and rebooted several times. I have UN and reinstalled I. I tried earlier through a previous thread for a similar problem with CS6, restart in safe mode.

  With this last reboot, the program seems to manage moving, but now everything is unbearably slow.

  Suggestions for what to try next?

  I constantly encounter the problem that I have a lot of objects and when I want to drag the selected object to move it around, the object with forward / or on top of it will be caught and moved to the place. How to avoid shortcutwise to choose an undesirable object when I'm about to drag an object? Is there something like a key to hold, while Illustrator includes I want to spend the already selected object only? Given that it is a 100 times daily task and I can't always to lock / unlock any other layer I work too... Although I could, but that could slow down the work 100 times, because it is not easy to identify / turn on each layer in the layer list, whenever I take another object...

  Pls share how it works in Illustrator.

  This situation occurs generally when the object to move in preview mode is completely hidden behind other objects, otherwise only by clicking on the artboard, selecting in the layer panel, unlock or if it.

  In this case, I would do it:

  1. with the selected object, press Shift + Ctrl + Alt + 2

  2 move the object

  2. Once finished Ctrl + Alt + 2, then Ctrl + Shift + A. In this step you don't have to lift a finger pressing the CTRL key.

  If you use mac, Ctrl = Cmd, Alt = Option.

  Edit: another approach that I often use is press SHIFT and one of the arrow keys until the sticks of the object selected out behind others and then drag it by its visible part.

  [Edit2: in addition, if the stacking order of the object should be kept, you can organize it in front of the battery with Ctr + shift +], or to move on the top layer highlighted, cut Ctrl + x and paste up Shift + Ctrl + v.

  And according to your view and zoom level cut Ctrl + X and paste Ctrl + v may be used after pan in the center of your view instead of that want to move the object.

  By selecting the 'Group' option in the menu context or changing once multi by selecting the existing group with the object allows you to add new items to the existing group without separate it.

  Occurs usually when you have a wandering point or a selected guide. Zoom out all the way. You have something that is going to the grey area (outside the mount table) completely.
