Free memory error on Palm T5

I have a Palm T5 that I "inherited" from my sister, and he began to have problems.  She had to rebuild her cell phone and doesn't have the Palm software installed.  The original box, etc. is in the House of our parents, two hours away.  I use it mainly to listen to music and read from files that are stored on a SD card or main memory for the machine, but all of a sudden cannot open files that are used to work.

I am still able to open some files smaller word, but anything that's 2-4 MB can be open to all.  What is odd, is that I can listen to a song by 8MB!

The really strange thing is that when I try and do a hard reset (the way in which I used with my old LifeDrive crashed if bad it does not start after the initial screen), it is not wipe the machine data.  I also tried to delete files so that there is plenty of room to the left, but still not the error "no free memory."

Help?

T

Try what is called a "zero" reset for the T5... it of different than just a "hard reset."  This article describes the different types of reset for Palm devices:

    Any chance to get this working in 2013 CVI?

    "& Strings.A [0]" does not work either.

    Hello CVI - User!

    Thank you for reporting the issue. I filed the bug report # 423491.

    I did have a chance to get rid of the error by changing the definition of the structure, but I was able to get the program running by disabling execution checking when the fields in the structure are initialized:

    strcpy( (char*)(uintptr_t)SelectedStrings[1], "TEXT" );

    Or perhaps a more descriptive workaround solution:

    #define UNCHECKED(x) ((void*)(uintptr_t)(x))
    strcpy( UNCHECKED(SelectedStrings[1]), "TEXT" );

    Thank you

  • Memory error

    I am currently trying to parse a JSON file really big, but I'm getting a memory error output. This happens when I converted my "ByteArrayOutputStream" (baos) the chain through the. toString(). (Via the passage of the mouse in the debugger), I see that the size of the baos is 156815 (bytes I guess).

    I read about some potential problems / solutions:

    -I could have either free the memory elsewhere in my program.

    -There may be a memory leak.

    -File JSON can be too big... so I should analyze 'in pieces '.

    1. could you please explain to me how I could create a memory leak? Embarrassing I didn't believe that this was possible in java

    2. also... How can I free memory so I store and pop my screens on the other?

    3. could you point me to a tutorial for parsing JSON into pieces... I don't know how to try it again...

    Hi, I wanted to give you guys an update. It took me a long time to realize that If you turn off (the debugger) line breaks then the conversion to string works ! I'm 100% sure that this is. Thanks for the reply!

  • Not enough free memory

    Hi, I have the same problem, unfortunately, your solution does not work, when I paste the code at the command prompt, an error has occurred, and of course I started the administrator command prompt...

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-performance/there-is-not-enough-free-memory-to-run-this/815fcc17-B5A5-4468-98c7-94d1ba3e5b3c?page=1 RelanAlex said they have tried the solutions and are still having problems. >

    Hi all, thanks for the reply I appreciate (I write a long solution is a pain more describe a problem), but I take the option reinstall my windows so I don't mind more, and now everything is back to normal, again, of course I lost most of my work, the software and the etc T_T I have ever had the chance to backup. I learned my mistake and I never mess with registry thing again.

    Once again thanks for the help and good day.

    I'm angry against HP before even getting the thing completely uncompressed.

    WHY HP is too cheap to provide a USB cable?

    OK, have to run out to the store.

    But, in addition, I power up the printer and I am getting a memory error. It says "memory error 10.1000 supply."

    HP made a final inspection, or am I their unpaid final Inspector?

    There is a paper tray, presumable to capture the output of the printer. The only problem - he obviously does not anywhere, ridiculous installation manual says nothing about this, and after downloading the user manual, which says nothing no more.

    Nowhere in the manuals gives error codes.

    Just to add insult to injury, there is no registration card. HP guarantees this thing? With these many problems, why t - you buy HP?

    Someone at HP read this, or am I just whistling in the wind? Yes, I'm upset. I've never bought a printer before who has not just plug the supplied cables and WORK.  {Content deleted: legal discussion}

    Hi pilotgeorge,

    I can understand your frustration with this issue. After reviewing photos it seems that you have the correct output tray for this printer. Below, I have included a link to a video that will guide you through the installation of the paper output tray. IM using a Samsung Galaxy S. The problem was the internal sd card, which has been used by some data that belong to an application already deleted. That's why the smartphone was told there is still some free space. I formatted my sd card. Now, everything works fine.

    Assuming that you previously purchased on the app store and your Mac meets the minimum requirements, unload you enough data on an external drive to free the necessary disk space and update via the app store. If you buy before it and it is not in your shopping list, you do not have.

  • Blue screen message - memory error

    Keeping my laptop saying memory error - please delete the file.
    Something like that.

    Hello

    The blue screen error message usually appears because of the hardware failure or serious malfunction of software.
    If this error message appears more often so I would recommend recover the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD supplied.

  • Troubleshooting not enough memory error

    I get an error of memory and while there are tons of posts about this on the forums, I had a few more questions. First of all, I have two cRIOs and think that the error would have been thrown by one of them. Is it still possible if? I'm trying to narrow down what exe, the error may be in. Secondly, is there an order of actions they take when they get these errors to help out them?

    Found the REAL problem! I was not reading my header correctly, this resulted in type casting the bad data bytes. Every now and then I would be casting of data type byte that when type cast from a string to an I32 caused a number about 17 million. I guess that the TCP read trying to malloc memory (or new if its c ++ ) and has been unable to do. That's why I got the low-memory error. When I started to read my TCP bytes correctly, the error disappeared.
