The blue screen error message usually appears because of the hardware failure or serious malfunction of software.
If this error message appears more often so I would recommend recover the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD supplied.

Good evening!
I recently updated my Windows OS 8.1 and after that my pc has started getting a blue screen with an error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_EQUAL (igdkmd64.sys). After going through 2 hours of update and reboot it started randomly blue screen of my PC. Especially after a game. Can it be caused be video card (most likely because the accident happens after a game) because it was not updated to the latest version?

Blue screen with the error code and I have no disk recovery for HP Pavilion dv6-1260se
I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1260se with operating system Vista factory installed. When you start the computer, I get a blue screen with this error message: STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}.

I don't have a recovery disc for this computer. I tried to order them, but they seem to not be available. It is my daughter's computer. It is not possible to download records from the web site, but you can order and they will send you the discs for you. If you can get another option using F11 to work and get the restored system this way, you can make your own recovery disks (assuming that you have not already done on this PC, what a game can be made by PC).

I have my Acer 5920 laptop, 2 GB of RAM and 160 hard drive, last stop system time correctly with all the files to day, but when I restart then comes windows XP Jean-Christophe and then a blue screen with the error. As the posts above mention, the problem comes from your drivers. Crashes BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) are usually caused by bad drivers (manufacturer code) and incorrectly blamed on the operating system. Make sure you have the latest chipset drivers installed with the latest version of the BIOS.
I suggest you to download and install the latest drivers from the manufacturer's Web site.

My computer date deadline and I get a blue screen message

Blue screen with the error "irql_not_less_or_equal"
I have a problem I can not correct and hoped someone could help me fix.
I got a blue screen while I was working on my laptop. I restarted windows and once connected, the office appeared and everything seemed ok, but before I could do anything that I got another blue screen with the error "irql_not_less_or_equal" So now, I have only access in safe mode.
I tried to restore the system to a previous point, but the same error occurred during windows startup.
Then I made a backup of my files and tried to use the disk to reboot, but again, I got a blue screen (I don't remember the excact error) after the first loading bar, so noting changed.
Then I looked at the log files and found that, just before the first crash, an adobe update has been installed. I removed adobe list startup failed, completely remove the adobe doesn't either.
Also, in safe mode I don't have an internet connection (without wire or cable). Blue screen errors is not always the same, esspesially codes "stop".
My knowledge of windows is very bad, so I just tried things people recommended on internet. If someone could help me would be great. I deleted all my important files from my laptop so I don't mind lossing just as long as windows functiones correctly again.

It just keeps it again and again and does nothing else. I removed the battery, removed all caps, deleted all devices USB (mouse) and pressed the power button for 60 seconds. Then I put the battery in place, pluged in the power cord and it turned on. I got the same results, as shown above. NO CHANGE! HELP PLEASE!
Well Vista and before "XP", usually, do not use the FAT32 file system, they use, as do the new OS NTFS.
Vista/XP can read FAT32, & can / could use, but its outdated... Memory is not really in this case, but
you too extended the hardware capabilities of the pc.
From this point, try to start the BIOS, the value 'advanced settings' once this done, change BIOS for any add-on
material, save & exit.
