Frontpanel drawings do CPU 50% higher

Hello

I have a problem with my program. Everything works fine except when I display the front panel.

So when the façade is not displayed the cpu runs at 8-12%. When I want it displayed is goes up

68%.

My question is this normal? I use so normally labview has to draw this figure 8 graphics in a tabcontrol.

Or I may be wrong. Can anyone give me some advice on this. When I use the tool see you with Subvi uses

the more memory sound said the graph vi. More information are welcome

Thank you

Update the chart less often will also help. Once or twice a second usually keeps most of entertained people. Up to 30 Hz, if you try to make the smooth animation, but at this time there the PC through a data acquisition equipment an entertainment device.

Make sure also that you have nothing too running in the grpahs because it requires more CPU to display the stack of objects.

There is also a Front Pnale property called 'deferFPupdat' which, once set differs from Panel before updates (they compare to the background) when true and then allows updates when set to false. I think that there is a bug in (8.2?) that prevented this property works correctly with tab controls.

Have fun!

Ben

  • High CPU, RAM HIGH Server 2.0

    Hi all

I have VMWARE server installed 2.0 on windows server 2003, this machine has 32 gigabytes of RAM with 2 processors to dual-core (3.2 ghz) xeon.  I have 4 virtual machines will each activity 4 gigs of RAM a piece (assigned amount).  The machines are servers to test for our developers and get barely affected.  My problem is that when I reboot a virutal machine for like 15 minutes the machine freezes and I can't do anything with this guest operating system.  It is very annoying espically when you test something and need to reboot constantly.   I have serached through the forums, but since "high CPU" and "high memory" is if common is very difficult to sort through all this.

    Hello

In my view, that a disk file is preserved to shadow ram invited.  I think remember me a post for some time there is a parameter that can be changed to stop this, but it can reduce the reliability as a result of an accident.

Try to reduce the amount of ram on your comments and see if the boot process is faster.  You are starting the prompt or wake of a bet into hibernation?  If it's a State of hibernation, it touches the hard drive because the memory is reloaded, if several guests start at the same time it can have a signoficant impact.  He also the effects of the weather in the judgment of the host, so all guests are on hinernate to clodedown.

  • Excessively the CPU usage high on my Equium M70

    Hello

Recently in the last month my summer CPU usage hit 100% when I m not running any software tax (only internet explore and windows media player).

It is slowing down the load time and the area near the fan is hot enough.

I have a Satellite M70-337, with a 1.7 centrino processor and now 2 GB of RAM (formerly 512 megabytes). I upgraded the ram in December and had no problems like that, now it just started happening recently, I have installed everything that would, there is no unnecessary programs running and it was after I restored my computer to factory with the startup disk settings (a month later), he seems to have come from nowhere. On the list of the Task Manager it shows my web browser and Media Player by using most of the CPU, but I could have sworn that they use so far before.

I don't know if the RAM would have been a factor, but it was the correct RAM for it and windows recognized to 2 GB.

Why would it suddenly happened any ideas guys?

    Hello

I have the same model of laptop and at the moment I have no such problems. To be honest, I did new installation OS 3 months ago and after installing Microsoft Update, I noticed this laptop does not work as before. Just for example: if I use IE7 extensively with several different tabs in the Task Manager I can see this need for IE more than 300,000 k of memory and crashes somehow. After the closure of the IE and ending THE process sin Task Manager I can work normally again.

I don't really know how your operating system is configured, but in the Task Manager, you should see what running process is responsible for the high CPU usage. Maybe some antivir application? Sorry, but it is really not easy to sayt why this happens. Play around with the current process.

  • Satellite A300-1IE - CPU usage high with Bluetooth active

    Hello!

I recently installed Windows 7 and the Toshiba Software Installer on my Satellite A300-1IE.

I have a problem with the bluetoothmanager, it's more than double the CPU usage when turned on. When I close the CPU usage goes down.
    This is not normal?

When the BT active CPU usage is 9 to 15% and when not 1-3%

Seems to be high. Try an update of the Bluetooth stack.

  • Qosmio G20: CPU too high with video usage

    Hello

I've got G20 (2.13 Ghz processor) and nVidia 128 MB GeForce Go 6600 and I noticed that when you run video that my CPU utilization goes up high enough. View tv goes up to about 80%, video in media player substantially the same, but the video clips on Web sites and sites with video banner Web can get up to 100%.

I don't know if this normal that I had not really noticed before, but lately, with this hot weather, I found that on the days hottest occasionally my system stopped, probably because the fan may not follow.

My question is if these ages CPU usage % are normal for this system, or I have some setting wrong that puts the load on the processor and not the graphics card. Can someone tell me if I can check how the video processing is done by the graphics card or how I can assure that this is the work and only in passing on overloading the CPU.

    Thank you very much.

PS I am running the latest drivers video for this machine, obtained from the Toshiba draft.exe page.

    Hi William

I had a lot of experiences with Qosmio G20 and activity of the CPU under pressure. With the use of the highest processor unit was never overheated just a little harder because of cooling fan.

As you know Qosmio G20 is powerful multimedia and video unit problem described in your message is really strange. If you wrote that you don't l l notice that before, I assume your personal configuration is responsible for this. On this path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. Try to check the processes running and at the end all of them you don't need. On this way the CPU use should be much lower.

  • Z220: The CPU utilization high idling: how to troubleshoot?

My new Z220 with i5-3470 CPU, 16 GB RAM, Win 7 Pro 64-bit, shows a very high utilization of the processor idling: 35 to 39%, on average. I looked at the Win 7 performance monitor and there it shows system interrupts, in slow motion, a lot of 20-25% the use of the CPU, the system consumes 10 to 15%.

A quick glance at a similar setup Z210 idling watch zero % CPU for the two system using interrupts and system.

The Windows performance tool is not one I have a lot of experience with usage, but a few reports I generated show nothing obvious, at least not for me.

Does anyone have advice about how to fix this?

    TIA!

After a really long survey on Windows 7 drivers and others, HP advanced support Tech became convinced (as I pretty much was all the long...) that there actually is a hardware in-game problem: motherboard or the CPU. First level never support could go to the beyond notice of driver/Win 7 / background process 'normal', which I became finally found was not the case.

The excellent technician sent by HP thought the CPU was a good place to start: it replaces, and as soon as voltage, all high utilization of the processor issues disappeared! I've been running the system for some hours, after reinstalling my extra system memory and card over-pants V4900 and the CPU is idle to 0-1 percent, with System Idle Process typically in 98-99 percent. Idling system interruptions now consume less than 1% of the CPU usage. Why this processor (i5-3470) spent all of diagnostics from Intel without a blip is a mystery to me.

Thus, solved! And congratulations for the HP business support!

  • When Windows starts it is always a dialogue box that flashes on the screen and the CPU usage high (above 50%), after I connect sometimes for several minutes.

Original title: at the start of Windows there is always a dialogue box that flashes on the screen, but I've known idea what it is.

How can I determine which program is using this dialog box? I also don't expect high utilization of the processor (over 50%) after that I connect sometimes for several minutes. I see not all applications running in the Task Manager. The amount of CPU utilization in the services tab doesn't match what I see compared to what the gadget is read in my sidebar. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Soan,

    1. What is exactly mentioned in the dialog box?

    2. when the problem started?

    3. did you of recent changes on the system?

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

You can check if the problem occurs in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    Step 2:

If you are not faced with the question in safe mode, you can perform a clean boot and check.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

After the troubleshooting steps, please refer to clean the boot link to put the computer to normal startup mode.

    Method 2:

You can read the following article and perform a full scan of security on your computer.

    Microsoft safety scanner

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss. You can take a backup of important data before performing analysis.

    Method 3:

You can also read the following article and try to optimize the performance of Windows Vista.

  • Why is my cpu so high?

Hi everyone, for about 3 weeks my CPU usage is very high, 100% most of the time. I did not more changes to my computer lately, and I've downloaded something. I have a lot of memroy on my computer and when I pull up the Task Manager there are programs that are high on the CPU meter. My computer has been running hot, however, and I bought a cooling block. It help cool down a bit, but the best solution is to put my knees on the top on the top a fan goes to full power. I ran MalwareBytes, Avast!, Mcafee and no virus and malware do appear. And I also noticed it there was not any major slow downs. My computer is a HP Pavilion g6, Windows 7 64-bit, processor intel core i3, I have 4 GB of RAM with 3.80 of it still usable. Is there a connetion between my laptop being very hot and one such high utilization of the processor (even when I do nothing)? Help, please. I don't know what to do and I don't want to take it to the store. Thank you!

Programs that use a lot of CPU are as follows: svchost.exe and mcshield.exe. Can I leave them?

They are not finished. Svchost.exe is a component system that hosts different services. If you terminate svchost.exe, Windows will reboot and once again the service is started. mcsheield.exe is the process of the McAfee antivirus program. Stop, it will stop to protect your PC.

And since the cooling reduces the processor load, try to check the internal fan. Blockage by dust in the heat sink also reduce the air circulation thereby reducing the cooling capacity. Replace the entire cooling system, if necessary.

    Dear Experts,

We use two Cisco EMS-2000 in our network. but we face very high utilization up to 95 to 98% CPU.

We cannot see in details why it happened as in cisco RTR or catalyst "sh proc cpu" there see in detail by which service he goes high then we can very easy identity but in L3 Cisco EMS-2000 showing only the percentage not in the details. " so, how can I know.

We get the EMS-2000 this type of errors "2147480831 2012-Jul-06 13:14:45 % WARNING IPFFT-W-SFFTREDYELLOW: IP SFFT.

How can solve this and why it happened.

Please someone help me for the same thing, I appreciate it for that.

    Thanks in ADV,

  • Satellite R830-1GZ - CPU usage high (> 25%) and increase in the speed of the fan after reactivation

    Hi all

The CPU usage of my laptop shoots upward to 25% (and beyond) and increases in fan speed considerably after waking up, but only when I use an external mouse (Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000) - disconnect the mouse once it happened does not solve the problem, so I always have to restart my computer if I let go sleep with the connected mouse.

I noticed that when this produces the system interrupts - delayed appeals procedure and Interrupt Service routine appears in the resource monitor > CPU > process and seems to explain the increase in the use of the processor.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be most appreciated.

I use a Toshiba Satellite R830 1GZ with Windows 7 (64-bit). This problem will not occur when I use the same mouse with another laptop (Dell with Windows XP).

    Thank you very much.

I think that the process that controls the mouse MS WLan does not close properly.
The system to memorize it and therefore the cooling module begins to spin faster because these processes stressed the central unit.

Maybe its caused by the mouse driver
Have you checked if there is an update to the driver?

  • Re: Satellite P750-CPU usage higher than idle after installing display driver

I have a default Satellite P750-136. Usually when my laptop is on idle I used to have 0-4% CPU speed.
I just installed the latest drivers for the graphics card from nvidia 540 m and my CPU is 6-13% on idle.
I checked the pc health monitor and the fan speed went up to 80% on idle. And the CPU temperature is closer to 50. What do you think is the problem and how can I get this back to its previous performance?

There is no system restore point earlier. Install the nvidia driver does not seem to create a...

You have installed driver from the Toshiba download page or you use NVIDIA driver downloaded from NVIDIA support page?

  • 2012 Server CPU utilization high

I keep getting 100% CPU usage on my server of 2012 (standard) after reboot with ".net runtime optimization Server" take all CPUS.

I worked through KB2571181 and KB2570538 with little success that the problem goes away, come back after rebooting the server.

    Any suggestions most welcome.

  • Low CPU with high RAM compromise?

I was searching online for a confirmation, but have not yet find something, so I wanted to post on these cards. On a large cluster of machines (a few hundred), the load on our resource monitor said that we push % on CPU and RAM 70 %5. We are setting up a new environment and thought about order of servers with a single socket processor and much more RAM.

Did anyone see issue by doing this? If this is not the case, how is it many people buy machines to dual-core instead of a nucleus?

You set yourself for a lot of problems goes in this direction. As others have also posted it, you are much, much, much better off getting servers with double plug, multi-core (at least Quad-cores) that reduces to one taken. According to the processor that you look at, it is possible to go to a GHz slightly more low discretion model, depending on what happens to be operational there.

Personally, for a production environment design, I will not under a pair of Xeon E5520 to each host server.

With the double Sockets, you will have the best memory options available to you as well. In fact, you are ready to a lower limit on the amount of RAM you can install when you use a single socket these days. Basically you're max is going to be 1/2 of what it would be with two CPU installed. Because the memory is one of your main concerns, you'll be streaked yourself by reducing the CPU when it's your limit of memory.

I confirmed it (quickly) with a Dell R710 build... With two processors E5520, the limit is 192GO (12 sticks) of RAM... With one, she is reduced to 96GB (6 sticks)...
