• Windows Mail and browser FireFox seem frozen in time

  For a week, whenever I turn on my computer, the same e-mail to a date and time come in yet.  The messages that I had deleted from the deleted items folder are back there once again.  I've sent or forwarded messages are not in the "sent" folder.    I entered the server and delete these messages and prevents them from coming back, but the most recent messages are the same.  Whenever I turn on the computer, previously received messages come in, as if they had never been delivered before.

  Also, my browser, seems blocked.  Every time I turn on the computer, open the browser, I get the same error message - something cannot be found the page I looking for me and offers me a choice to try to reopen the tabs I had open the last time I used it, or to start a new session.  The tabs it offers me to resume the same each time - are apparently the same ones that I had opened every time that the incident that is causing all this trouble.

  In the last two days, I have done the disk cleanup and defragmentation, System Restore to a point before the date of the last post, I had received before this all started, checked with my antivirus (Avast Internet Security - the paid version) and have tried to remove my email and my browser of the 'Sandbox', a virtual environment, well that whenever I turn on the computer they are back in the sandbox.  The computer runs even slower he was before all this drama started.

  My computer is two years old and it runs Windows Vista.  No idea where to start?

  Gerry, you're on the right track. Here are the steps that I have spend to do:

  • Import a Standalone VM

  • Select the vmx virtual machine configuration file

  • Import the virtual machine to a 'Workstation virtual VMware Machine' (still works with VMware Server)

  • Name of the new virtual machine, choose the location and version of VMware, it is created for

  • Choose 'create a linked Clone '.

  Importing VMware 2.0 is a plu product and will not work with the new Version 7 virtual computers used in VMware Server v2.0. When you create your VM Image 'base', make sure you specify the version 4 of material in the options of "product Compativility. If your VM is already Virtual Hardware Version 7, you can create a new virtual machine to hardware v4, and then it's a hard drive with the virtual v7 machine.

  I haven't used VMware vCenter importer, so I don't know if it will do so, but I don't think that VMware Convert (which replaces importing vCenter) could do, so I think we can be stuck with the help of the old importer during the creation of related clones.

  Once I have create my first linked clone VM, I put aside as a template, so I can create more clones related simply by copying its files without having to use VMware importer again. You just make sure NEVER start the original VM that linked clones have been created since (unless you want to.) Any change in disk hard of the references will cancel all related clones.

  It would be possible to upgrade the VM basis and related to virtual hardware v7 later clones, but I have not tested this way.

• 2012 TS SP1: STEP_Result recording always fail in a database MySQL (standard schema)

  I use TS 2012 SP1 to perform very simple sequences (some sequence calls in the same file and a few simple tests without adapters) with the sequential model (see attachments). Each time database record step fails with the error-2147352567 on instruction STEP_RESULT.

  This means that I can not connect my my MySQL 5.2 database stage results (UUT_RESULT seems to be saved...).

  My configuration is:

  • Win 7 32 bit
  • 2012 TS SP1
  • 5.2 MySQL + ODBC connectors

  The database was built using MySQL Workbench using the sql file in the components folder of TS.

  Under TS, the scheme used is a simple duplication of the MySQL Insert Diagram delivered with TS. (see attachments).

  No idea what's going on? No work around?

  I've updated the MySQL ODBC version 5.2.5 (instead of 5.2.4) driver and the problem disappeared!

  Ah now I understand what you´re talking about ;-)

  In this case, I personally wouldn use a MySQL 'time' column type at all because of the given HH - format, which is (because of the required 2 colones) difficult for human beings to handle ordinary humans. In addition to this: you really expect the visitor to even enter the seconds that you're not more assumingly Don t even need in this context? ;-)

  I´d do it in a different way and certainly less risk of error:

  1. establish a "int (2)" column for hours and have the show form a text field correspondent 2-tanks

  2 do the same for the minutes.

  Benefits of all this are: no seconds needed more and you won´t have to establish a rule of form validation based on the regex that checks the two colons required, as the the only thing you´d have to check for is the built-in "integer" criterion.

  I was thinking about using a mask field...

  .. who could also be applied to a that s of field to regular text supposed to contain an HH - value, but in this case the column in MySQL should be varchar (5) due to the single colon.   The problem in this other thread is stupid IMHO requirement.

  If the datamodel is inspired by certain other requirements (any number of possible drivers) so it's hard to implement some other harsh restrictions. One way to solve the 'exactly two drivers' requirement it must put in place a sort of serialization point.

  Very often often stringent requirements lead to slow solutions (less identifiers, 'exactly something' logic of the gap...). Why? Because these heavy restrictions often needs to be applied by allowing access only one at a time. Which in turn leads to serialization of transactions.

  Hello

  It hurts, it is that you did a copiy of the control file while the database is open and running. Therefore, the control file was written because it was copied, and so the original file does not match the copy.

  (1) copied a control that has been written to the database file.

  (2) copy was frozen in time but kept open DB and writing in the original control file.

  (3) you stop the database and try to start it. Oracle tells you now that two control files are inconsistent with each other, which is true.

  As SB has pointed out, this is expected behavior and is not a problem.

  What you need to do is to

  (1) Restore changes made to the control_file parameter in the SPFILE. Put it pointing to the original control file, which is: ' / u01/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/control01.ctl' . Who should reopen the database.

  (2) read more documentation to make sure that you know how to multiplex control manually the files.

  Tecra A2 occasionally freezes and does not respond. If I end task and launch it again it works normally. Sometimes I have to restart the computer until it is fixed. It happens often when opening Outlook or Excel to Word trip. Just to uninstall the OS, reformat the hard drive and reinstalled but it stil has frozen two times in 6 hours today

  It is a normal behavior if an operating system is busy.

  If a lot of process and services are run in the context of the operating system, so the system could sometimes hangs.
  In you case, I would recommend the whole OS and surveillance programs simple and check which application could cause frost.

  But note; Sometimes a problem of overheating could cause these issues also.
  Usually, the temperature rises to a higher level if the CPU works with maximum performance. If cooling modules n t work properly then the CPU cannot be cooled and the laptop could start to freeze.
  In such cases, it s advisable to clean the fans with a jet of compressed air.

  Hi all

  I have a MacBook Pro 17 "late 2011, 2.4 Ghz, 16 GB RAM with OS X El Capitan installed, the latest version with all the updates." A year ago, I've had my Toshiba HDD replaced by Samsung SSD 250 GB SATA III 850 EVO and the Toshiba disk has been moved to CD using LMP disk Doubler Bay, at the same time, I had my RAM went from 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM, I have now. The OS X El Capitan is installed on the SSD. In this configuration, everything worked well, with absolutely no problem whatsoever. Sometimes, I ran disk utility to check both of my hard drives and no problem.

  Unfortunately yesterday, strange things started going. First of all, I noticed some unusual glitches when you browse the internet with Safari. I'll try to describe the best I can because they lasted about 2 seconds, so I don't recall. In any case, all of a sudden, as if half right of my screen has shifted in the middle of the screen and it was wrong and image around was all damaged or distorted but legible. He'll be back to normal when I switched between applications or revealed the office displays the windows of all running applications.

  It was similar to this (below) but much larger.

  

  Then, I continued my work as if nothing had happened, when all of a sudden my mouse pointer disappeared and the system froze completely. It was just totally frozen, the time was not moving and the computer did not react somehow to the keys I pressed. Unable to do anything, I had to press and hold the power button to turn off the computer. After starting it again once I hear the ringtone, I see the gray Apple logo and the loading bar. When the loading bar reaches about 40%, a coloured horizontal line appears (see photo below), then it subsides quickly followed by a black screen, which is quickly followed by a blank grey screen with no Apple logo or the bar loading, just a gray screen Uni, where I'm stuck. The computer turns off by itself after about 15-30 minutes if I leave it like that on the gray black screen.

  I can't start in safe mode or recovery mode.

  I CAN only boot single user mode, Apple Hardware Test mode, the boot (by holding the ALT/OPTION key) Manager and verbose mode. Also, I can start on the Internet recovery mode but once the download is complete, it is stuck on the gray screen (gray screen with the Apple logo WITHOUT horizontal line-online quick clear-online stuck on the gray screen black screen)

• HP envy 13-d003na: brand new gel randomly laptop

  I got my new laptop for only 10 days so far and it froze on me at least once every day since I got it. When it freezes, absolutely nothing works, I have to perform a hard shutdown by pressing the power button.

  All drivers are confirmed to date. I made it by using the Wizard support for HP but also to manually check my driver versions against those on the hp support driver page. I did a full reset of windows but that does not solve the problem. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

  Finally had a bit of sorting. Having at any time open Task Manager, I noticed that data through the WiFi went to zero for about 3 seconds before the freeze happens. I then decided to turn off the WiFi and connect via my smartphone. Do not freeze has occurred so that in this State; for about a week.
