  It is not possible in iMovie to replace a video clip with a new version and automatically keep any formatting.  Replace a clip with a new version should not affect the calendar and related overlays of pip (and audio) settings.  Also, if you first make a copy of the old cut somewhere in the timeline panel, you can copy and paste a few adjustments that the new:

  I use my Sansa Clip for 9 months now, one has never had any problems.

  I have a lot of music, but always had...

  Yesterday, he stopped playing music. He had ben work, as I was walking to the College. I turned it off, put it in my pocket.

  As Slacker internet radio, and the Clip (or indeed any Sansa player) is not, I don't see how.

  Try this: under Settings/Control Panel, go to restore factory settings. It is perhaps accidentally using a locale that has no radio.

  Otherwise, Yes, reinstall the firmware. If you change the version number and copy this link in your browser, you will find the links to download the firmware also. But I don't see why the last would not work. I have 1.02.18P and it was defintely a radio in there.

• SanDisk Sansa Clip + 4 GB MP3 player with FM Radio

  My new sansa clip + out of the box and I'm not able to do Radio FM works.  Battery is charged.  All I get on screen is a set of headphones and the 'music '.  I do not expect to play music because I have not yet loaded, but I expect to be able to get FM radio but can't seem to get there.  Any suggestions on how I have to happen?  Thank you.

  Please note that I do not see a menu of items to select from the MP3 player.  I do not see a "lock" or "unlock".

  My computer recognizes the drive as a new piece of hardware.

  The reader does not recognize the software on the CD when I put the CD in the computer.

  The player does not allow me to make the software what I t hink is the "root directory" for the player.  I guess tha the directory "root" is the "Sansa Clip + 4 GB" or the "internal memory".  It allows me to copy in one of these.   Appears as:

  My D drive that reads the CD has these files it contains:

  If I do not have need of these, please let me know.  I don't want to stuff more then I need to run the player.

  I'm assuming that I need only the files autorun.inf and the sansa - install .exe.

  I do not understand what is Rhapsody or why I need.

  Now, don't laugh at this suggestion, but: when you get the player, there is a transparent plastic sticker that was placed on the screen of the player, which has a screen simulation showing the items that describe you see on your screen - have - you, you take off the sticker? (It generally is a small tab on the right side of the tile to help with that.) Once you do this, the player I hope will begin to operate as expected. On the CD, you don't need at all! The CD is required to use the separate music Rhapsody and optional subscription service (for which you pay every month, after a free trial, usually). If you do not want the service, go to the CD. Finally, you should check and see if your drive is the latest firmware - look under settings to the player and to compare this version number firmware recent listed in the upgrade thread Firmnware sticky at the top of this forum. If the thread here has a more recent version of firrmware, recommended that you upgrade to it-, it is very easy to do. I hope this helps!

  OK, so I was listening to my clip + when it just turned off so I reset but it remained frozen on the Welcome screen and then I let the battery charging draining and it still freezes on the Welcome screen what I had to do it will not play anything

  somewhat an unusual question I have, in the hope of getting resolved before sending this back mp3. So I got my sansa clip zip not too long, maybe 4-6 weeks. It worked without problem, really liked the radio option, which is held just enough music, etc., but very recently, he started acting. Let me point out its major problems:

  -at startup, I am automatically taken to the previously played music screen (a title, artist and the progression of the track with album artwork or only background media). There is no option to select 'music' or 'radio '.

  -the back"" button. the button that takes you to the previous screen, works as a button from the previous song (even more strange, if the music is stuck on pause, then I click on 'back' (try, of course, to get on the radio of the screen, or at least let me pick the song!) then it will find a new song and automatically start playing it.)

  Let's see if we can cure disorders of this little guy.  I see that you have formatted the device already.

  The best thing to do is the first soft reset the unit in holding the power button for about 30 seconds, then release.  Connect the Zip file on the USB port.

  Download and uncompress or unzip the firmware file from here.  Follow the instructions for installation of caraa , in the thread.

  There is a difference here: don't worry about the part of USB mode, you can install the firmware in MSC or MTP mode.  If you are connected to the PSG. you will see no. letter attributed to the reader device, double-click the device, and then select the internal memory.

  In both cases, drag and drop the clipza.bin file into the root directory of the device, and then disconnect.  The firmware will install automatically on logout.  I feel that the original firmware is damaged on your Zip.

  Let us know how it goes, or post any questions you may have.  I'll be back in a little bit...

  I have read of several people on the internet that the clip can record radio but I couldn't confind concrete evidence in this regard. I also read the manual, and nowhere he told it. I really hope that it's because it was a big part of the reason why I bought this product. If it does not record radio, how should I do? Can someone help me please?

  You're right he is not mentioned in the manual, but it's just an oversight, I guess.

  If your version of Clip has the radio, you can save it. There is an option in the menu radio to record, play and delete records. Simply press the button (Menu) down 4 times when the radio and you'll find it.

  just bought clip +; downloaded and am listening to audio books very well.  After disabling clip +..., and then more later; of course the clip + goes to the audiobook... but after that I stop the audiobook, press menu, I highlight menu freezes... of FM radio and by freezes, I hear no activated button alone or in combination Gets the menu to change.  If the light menu and FM radio is still menu option on until the battery runs out.  last time this happened (yesterday) I plugged in the clip + on the computer (when the computer was in a good course) in the hope that that lead to a release, but unfortunately it does not work... in fact, the clip went not recognized by my computer... I then went to work (with the computer now turned off) and when I got back on the attached computer, the clip + & started loading the clip & just fine... until this work precedes me when that happened.

  also, I can use my cell phone charger (input 100-240v ~ 50 / 60 Hz 0.15 a; output 5.0V = 550ma) to download the clip +..., it must always charged via USB & I think this option would be faster

  Try restarting your Mac in safe mode:

  -Stop your Mac

  -Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

  -Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

  -Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

  -Once you see office, start a scan Disk Utility to detect and repair file system errors (remember to choose your primary hard drive)

  -Click on the disc to check, then, if requested to solve the problems on the repair disk

  -After that click on verify disk permissions, and then click Repair disk permissions

  -Once the process is complete, stop your Mac and turn it on again after 30 seconds

• Sansa Clip + FM radio is dead.

  All of a sudden, the FM radio does not work. In other words, there is no sound for FM radio. He makes the auto presets, accepts manual presets, etc. Currently on USA FM and FM stereo.   Are you sure that's not on BREAK? By pressing THE key (12:00) while playing the radio acts as a MUTE. It is easy to inadventently and this affects involuntarily. Try to press it again and see if your sound radio returns.

• Sansa clip volume problem with 'clipping' or 'pop' - when it is connected to the car radio

  I have two Clips Sansa (2 GB and 4 GB) and that both exhibit the same behavior.  When you listen to the Clips with a helmet, all right.  However, when I connect the clips on my car stereo (using a cable miniRCA to the dashboard stereo) Clips will play OK but the problem is due to the noise of road etc, should I increase the volume on the stereo of dashboard and Clips.  However, when I do that, at some point, the Clips will be 'clip' or 'pop' when the noise gets to a certain level.  I tried to change back and forth between normal and strong volume and also played with the equalizer with no effect.  My car stereo volume is thus contributed to the maximum.  This is a real problem because it is virtually impossible to listen to the Clip when driving (especially with podcasts or audio books where sometimes the voice is low, then I need to turn up the volume).  Is there some kind of limiter built into the Clip?  If so, is it possible to disable it?

  I don't know how you are set up exactly, but try another cord to connect to the car. It can be such a thing as the cord you can not handle put it.
