FRUSTRATION WITH DC

I upgraded to CD player from version XI.  Since then, I can't print to my printer Brother J105.  I've updated printer drivers.  I tried to fix DC on the Help menu, but I get error codes.  I tried to uninstall DC but get error 2503 and 2502 codes.  I'm uninstalling then and will not let me continue.  I want to go back to the XI version that I print booklets and now I can't.  It is now possible to print by taking an image of the copy of the document and paste it into Word and then printing.  What now if you please...

Hello donaldv61024751, I'm also an avid reader XI. First use the version of CD of the cleanup tool to remove: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs.

Access Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution , then select the offline full installer to the drive 11.0.10 to step 3.

Assuming you are successful, go in Edition > Preferences > Updater in XI player and make sure that "automatically install updates" is NOT selected to avoid an another 'upgrade '.

It is possible to apply patches XI player yourself. The latest patch is cumulative non - MUI Adobe - Adobe Reader: for Windows: Adobe Reader 11.0.14 - all languages updated.

  • Very frustrated with creative cloud. Suddenly unable to launch any apps. Can anyone help?

    I am so extremely frustrated with my creative cloud software and I'm reaching the end of my tether and do not know what to do. When I got creative cloud of last year was a boon absolute and so easy to use. However, a few months ago, it has suddenly stopped working for me and I don't know why.

    Whenever I try to launch an application (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), licensing prompt appears asking me to connect with my Adobe ID when I do that, as requested, it is said that creative cloud is now authorized for me and click on continue to enjoy the app. However, when I then continue, the application closes itself and guest licensing appears once again, asking me to reconnect. This continues to make the round and round in circles as he stuck on some kind of loop broken.

    I tried to contact support online chat, to be honest was pretty useless. I was in line for an hour and a half, talking to a guy who didn't know how to help me and actually gave me instructions which also damaged my applications and so I had to reinstall everything again. I also tried tool clean cloud creative to reinstall the entire package.

    My computer is an Apple iMac G5 (2006 model) and currently runs on OSX Snow Leopard. I understand that CC products are not compatible and so I always use the CS6 products that are available. I am unable to offer an update on my computer at the moment in order to run the Mavericks and CC products unfortunately. I'm afraid that it could have something to do with it, even if I am just trying to access the CS6 software.

    I currently pay £30 a month for a service I don't get and it really gets me down, freelance graphic designer and Illustrator as a source of extra income next to my minimum wage job, is to have extreme negative effect on my workload and of the ability to win. I'm really at a loss to know what to do :-(

    Everyone knows this and is at - it one any solution?

    Delete the file OPM.db and reconnection in the desktop application of creative cloud using the Adobe ID associated with your subscription.

    Mac OS: You can locate the file OPM.db in the \User\\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE folder.

    I just bought a Bold 9900 and had my old BB dumped on my new "BOLD". However, I knew that I would have to set up ALL my email all accounts again. But I am a positive type of gal so I started to redo the settings. However my frustration hit the wall when I tried to set up my OLD blackberry e-mail address on the new "BOLD". When I type in my old address the message says: "the username is not valid. A username must begin with a letter or a number. It can contain letters, numbers, underscores, dashes, and period characters. "So it seems that my email address can be ANYTHING that I want that it either, which is just MY OLD BB email address (for reasons of continuity evident with established contracts) andmy old E-mail begins with a LETTER!

    My other emails were put in place, but the blackberry e-mail makes me mental. Anyone? Help, please?

    Happened to me also (Bell 9900) I called the bell customer service and they reset my e-mail account of bb in about 5 minutes.

  • Frustrations with Adobe Stock 'Customer Service '.

    This position was created in desperation as really seems them to be no other outlet for support when dealing with Adobe Stock. I am located in Melbourne, Australia, and the only way to contact the Helpdesk of Adobe Stock is done by the service "Instant Messaging".  However, to this day, I spent more than 6 hours repeat myself and my questions to the customer that a) don't understand not what I speak not b) only provide scripted responses to my questions and c) bounce around me, to other agents of customer service that ends up telling me that my problem was refitted There is nothing else they can help me with and I'll be in touch by email within 2-3 business days. Then, when I received an email a week later it has nothing to do with my question and the process begins again.

    Help, please. I've been a customer of Adobe software products for more than 10 years and I'm not like if it comes to the level of support that I receive from your company.

    Here is a brief history of my problem. If anyone could be of additional help for me it would be greatly appreciated.

    -J' have subscribed to the Club Photo Dollar prior to its acquisition by Adobe and really the service provided.

    -When my subscription with DPC finished I took 'your first month for free' offer with Adobe Stock because it seemed to be the next offers the best for stock photography.

    -In my first month of using this service, I used 10 images available in my subscription and was looking to buy more. Previously using the DPC service you offer you an amount of credits you must add to your subscription (once you monthly allowance was exhausted) and purchase which was fantastic. I use a lot of stock photography, so it is a common place for me. However, after using all the images that is available to me through my subscription to Adobe stock I couldn't add the extra credit in my account and buy only the images one by one. Which would be perfect, but since I am in Australia, I would be charged fees for international transaction for each image purchased on my allowance which for me is crazy and my interaction with the Adobe Stock customer service began...

    -After taking a lot of time to explain my situation to the service representative and still not get anywhere as it seemed like adding extra credit was not a feature that Adobe Stock has the offer, I learned if I had already subscribed to CPD, I was entitled to a reduced monthly subscription. As I had signed Adobe stock with another email address of my CPD membership this offer has been applied to my account.

    -J' expressly asked, if I was able to transfer my account using the same login as my former DPC subscription to take advantage of this offer and we told him 'NO,' I have to create a new account based on the same login as the old DPC members and cancel my existing subscription. I also specifically asked that I stay a client Adobe stock I undertake any kind of cancellation fees? I was told 'NO '.

    -So, I did as suggested, created a new Adobe Stock subscription based on the same as my old and weak DPC membership login and behold, I could enjoy a lower monthly subscription. fantastic news.

    - Then I cancelled the original Adobe Stock composition, I created without problem until I noticed that I had been charged of membership $180 cancellation fee!

    -I just spent an hour on the time trying to talk to someone because, they told me I should not this tax and that, due to the fact, I continue my subscription with Adobe Stock just under a different user name I should not be held responsible for the cancellation, but had absolutely no chance. No one understands what I'm trying to say, it takes up to 10 minutes in some cases has received a response through the 'cat' portal and then finally my question is 'up' and I you will receive an email within 2-3 business days. This has happened twice and after a week I received correspondence from Adobe Stock but email only said: ' Chris, we would like to inform you that you will be able to buy at THE $ 59.99 / month "has absolutely nothing to do with my question.

    First of all, I don't think I should have to pay the cancellation fee that I am in fact pursuing a membership with Adobe Stock and was informed that I woudnt be charged. If for any reason any that should be charged, I would prefer that my subscription was restored and I saw the contract of the year and have actually 2 accounts rather than having to pay $180 for nothing!

    If someone, anyone... could you please help me with this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. Being able to talk to someone who has made a greater understanding of the services associated with this feature of Adobe products would be amazing. I realize that it may not be the fault of representatives for customer service but outsourcing Adobe Stock that their call centre in India is really not useful that just does not seem to have any understanding of ther product other than scripted information they have before them. I'd be happy to wait as long as it took just to talk to someone who had a real understanding of my issue and eventually get some sort of resolution.

    Help, please. It comes from really should be a very simple thing to fix.

    Let me start by saying that I am so very sick and tired of Adobe. Amount of excess capital and the resources available to them, it is incomprehensible that Photoshop is such a bug ridden, unstable, essentially unusable pieces of software. I have a beautiful new workstation I have invested more than $7,500. I7-5960 X, 64 GB RAM, SSD, etc..

    Photoshop became unusable for me. I've tried everything. It is literally that I'm on a 686. I've just upgraded to the latest version of 2015 and it completely took a dump. The user interface has changed, and a ton of new features, including libraries of cloud are being pushed down my throat. I added a single color on the palette and waited 15 minutes for the app attempt to synchronize and then it just comes crashing and the last 15 minutes of work is gone, with no way to recover what was lost. I'm so sick of Adobe and their crappy products. I am embarrassed that I have to use such a poorly designed product.

    All I want to do is finish my project that I have invested in more than 500 hours and my business depends on to survive.


    Adobe, I've been a loyal customer over 12 years and I mean when I say, your product has become a useless piece of shit.

    This forum sees patients ranging from what I call hard the ignorant, to complete professionals with several years of experience.  Posters with the badges of staff with Indian names are what are called Photoshop support team, and their only job (AFAIK) is to help people on this forum.  They have access to customer accounts so can also help in problems of subscription type.  I must admit that I tend to let posters tirelessly clueless for the guys from the support team as they are paid for it, and it's frustrating to say the same thing, a dozen different ways complete with diagrams, and they still not get it!

    Any poster, you see with and orange badge (MVP ACP) gets their free Adobe software, which is Adobes way we encourage to stay here and to share our years of experience and knowledge.  These forums are a valid response from Adobe for their customers who have problems, and we are going to be much better at that customer because most of us earn our living with our Adobe software, and as the hours per day, we spend on these forums, we have seen generally each number a dozen times before.

    What a pity DanC came not here from that (s) he had installation issues, because it seemed immediately to restart the computer and run the Application Manager as an administrator.  Installation FAQ has exactly the same information, and in fact, pretty much any information you need is a quick Google away.  It surprises me again well how it works.  Each of these search parameters is exactly the information you need

    If you are looking for information on how to do things, add the word "Help" right after Photoshop there is usually much better than third party otherwise tutorials, you will find a guide.  Or search Adobe TV.  That is not my favorite Adobe installation as they rather missed it upward awhile back of ging, she a front end fantasy at the expense of ease of use.

    Finally, do not forget that Adobe 12 499 employees (Wikipedia) only about 70 are working on Photoshop development team, and they don't make decisions that can irritate customers, so there is no point in grumbling in this forum.

  • Frustrations with Premiere Pro CC 2015 - any help?

    The installation of cc2015, I came across things that are different and are quite frustrating, cc2014. Any ideas on how to change small behaviors to act as they did?

    1. When you mouse click and highlight a bunch of clips to move upward and backward on the timeline, in cc2014 you can move the playback cursor to a different location on the timeline, by clicking on the workbar, and as long as you aren't not clicking on a track or another clip, all your clips stay selected. Now, when I move the playhead, while the clips are selected, it automatically selects a clip which is under the read head and deselects all the clips that I had highlighted.
      1. It is also different behaviors when you add keyframes for a photo, such as make the pan and scan. If I add my starting keyframe in the window effects, and then click the down arrow to go at the end of a clip to add the keyframe position, the playback head is now in a different clip and it still, automatically selects the next clip which is under the read head and deselects the clip I was working on dispelling all its properties in the effects window. Basically I want the read head in order to stop the auto-possibilite select the clips that I did not choose with my mouse, just as he did in cc2014.
    2. Error message from the bottom window on the right keeps popping up on my sequence whenever I get an error message, e.g. a programmed correctly Ae effects won't load does not, missing or audio if I extend a clip cut longer than ever before, he was on the timeline. I just want this popup go away. I can click on you if I want to read to you. Any ideas on how to disable this option?

    Overall however, some nice improvements. Here the morph Cup would work on shots that contain no faces (aka, would be cool for the VFX transitions and reveals).

    Sorry for the trouble. I'm not in front of my computer right now, but I remember there is a parameter that turns off.

    1. click on the sequence menu and then uncheck the "Read head follows selection" (or something similar)

    2. it can also be disabled in the preferences. The pop-up notification window is displayed by default. If you want to stop, deselect Show event indicator under the General category in the Preferences dialog box.

    First of all, I think that I am posting this in the wrong place because it does not only refer to the Mavericks, as far as I know (and the last years of different operating systems). But I've been staring at the screen for 5 minutes trying to find a Mail software on this page https://discussions.apple.com/welcome - but it can't see anywhere. Somehow it reminds me the absolute chaos that iTunes has become. Not being able to find things that tend to be so obvious. But I'm not here to complain about iTunes. I'll keep for another post.

    I always found the e-mail software on my Macbook to be annoying. The font is too small. I know that I can make the font bigger. But I don't want to change the 'real' size of the police; I just change "look at her a size" of the police. If someone views my email on a PC with the Microsoft Outlook software, something more larger than the font of 12 points is probably "too big" (especially for an email from professional / professional). But in Outlook, you can set the percentage of look a - like in the Word software. So, I always write e-mail in Word, so I don't owe my eyes to read the text that I composed an email from the strain. I then paste in Mail before sending.

    Either incidentally, police by 10 points in this forum appears the same size as 12-point font in the Mailer on my Macbook.

    I have good eyesight. I checked it recently. I don't have glasses. But still mail software annoys me. Right now I take prescribed medication. One of the side effects is a blurred vision. Thus, Mail is REALLY annoying me now.

    I'm really tempted to give up on mail and, I dare say, buy software from Microsoft Outlook.

  • So frustrated with Google Sync does not. Not a replacement for the 755 p

    As a new device, the Pre is very nice, very slippery.
     
    To replace the 755 p, this thing doesn't cut it, and I don't know what to do about it.
     
    With my 755 p, I used the Palm Desktop calendar and contacts, Notes, DocumentsToGo, DayNotez, Alison and SplashID regularly, or even several times a day.  I was fully aware that some of these things wouldn't work right away on the meadow and have no problem with that.  It's a new product, things will come.  I knew there was a way to get the calendars and contacts to convert on the meadow and that's all that I was really interested.
     
    I run the data transfer Assistant when I got home after picking up my new 6/6 pre - calendar and contacts entries all copied on the phone - not the Notes.  I believe that all my Contacts and perhaps 30% of my entries in calendar copied on Google in the next 24 to 36 hours and then they stopped.  Yes, it has literally taken so long.  After spending hours reading the forums and try a lot of things before leaving, it seemed the right answer was to reset the phone and try again.  Almost every spare moment (and no spare) since then I spent trying to get this working.  Several times this week I did a full erase on the phone, deleted my Google Calendar, deleted all my contacts from Google and run DTA once again, wait about 6 to 12 hours between each time to make sure that it is not all data circulating everywhere in between.  Some attempts seem to take days to fill in the information of the Google phone, so I wait patiently to see if this time it will work.  Between each attempt, I remove entries more in my Palm Desktop calendar, thinking that the number of entries there maybe that is the problem.  I have spend hours going through the last 6 years of my calendar, removing more and more of the things that I absolutely need.  I'm now down to ~ 1600 entries in my Palm Desktop calendar, leaving only what I really need right now.  Last night, I reset and ran DTA again (maybe 9th time this?).  This morning I seem to have everything on the phone, but only half of the entries in my calendar and contact in my gmail contacts.  This transfer of data inconsistencies frankly scares me.  How will I never really feel confident that he got 100% of my data without manually browse entries of 1600 +?
     
    I spent maybe 25-30 hours trying to get this to work last week.  I don't really mind even spending all that time screwing around, because I'm jumping on a new piece of technology and problems expected.  I actually quite enjoy the challenge of it and don't mind going through my old calendar entries and remembering all the meetings and events, I attended.  However, when it has been a week and I do not see a resolution in sight, I start to wonder if I should give up on the thing.

    I simply cannot delete calendar entries more and don't know what else I can do to make it work.
    There is no way to sync the Word & Excel files (although it is trivially easy to make an app for it via the USB cable), a little more difficult, but not impossible to do it live.  You can do this manually via the USB port, but the hands are not what I need.  I don't know that a solution will come.
    There is no ssh client. I can't wait to do this.
    There seems to be no way to synchronize your notes what whatsoever to make them available on a PC or on the web.
    It doesn't seem to be any application of newspaper/journal as DayNotez still (Evernote is not what I want) and angelique said they do not plan to put forward.
    SplashID is out with a pre - app, but I need to access this data on my PC.

    Why Palm would not to propose a solution that has the potential to restrict and limit access to data.  If the Internet is down at work or at home, I am unable to use cloud computing via my PC and I will not use the Pre to enter meetings, view calendar entries and write documents.  Cloud computing as a concept is great, but to do the PC apps there for people who prefer to use computers to do things and a way to synchronize all these data for the Pre.  The Pre is not the answer at all, or most of the things ever.
     
    I'm not saying that the pre is not great.  It's a great device, but I can't see it being able to do what I need to do or what the data transfer Assistant is supposed to to do any time soon.  Do you have?
     
    Still not sure what I will do here.

    Looks like we can see a solution for this in the recent release of 1.03!  I improved the second, the update went live and just did a bunch of tests and the sync seems to work perfectly.  I'm going to enter all the data to my calendar now!  I'll be back if I noticed any problems and report in.

    I followed the instructions to help Adobe to create a watermark brush and save.

    Now I can't find anywhere in the for use.

    The instructions that tell you how do seem not to be for my version of 14 elements.

    There is no list of brushes saved anywhere.

    Take a look at the set of brushes that was open when you saved the newly created brush. It should be the last of them, if the process is completed as advertised.

  • Frustrated with Media Center

    I recently acquired material that could be used with Microsoft Media Center on my hp pavilion desktop running windows 7 Home premium. When I went to start the Media Center program I found that it was not installed on my pc with windows. Microsoft says it should be and refuses to help me claiming HP is responsible. When I contact HP they claim that I am out of warranty and refuse to help me unless I have buy more. I don't want to pay for something, I would have already, so I ask you, dear friends, how can I get the program to the Media Center on my pc when it should already be there?

    A week later against emailing my HP comments responded with a call to tech services. The technician who was very knowledgeable, said the previous hp customer service representatives were mistaken and Media Center should be on my pc because I have windows 7 Home premium. I took him through all the research via Control Panel and C we couldn't find all of the records are related. He had me so do the following

    go to the control panel

    Pull up of programs and features

    In the upper left corner of the screen click on enable and disable Windows features

    Open the folder that shows the characteristics of the media

    Media Center is checked

    Windows reloads then on your pc Media Center

  • Remove Frustration with eReader App

    I have a Tungsten E2 with the eReader application. Is there an ebook file downloaded in the memory of the Palm, not the memory card that I can't remove. I can't reach the menu that opens, which includes the optin to remove the file to sync'ing hot. An error message appears when I click on the file in the main menu eReader.

    Is there a cheat I can use for sync'ing Hot to delete this file?

    Nuke the file using a file as a Manager go.

    You don't need to use eReader to delete files.

    Choose display and editing files

    Scroll down the page until you see the file name ereader with the fact that you have problems.

    Tap this file (it will get a check mark)

    Then choose file | Remove.

    This should be the last you see of the file.
