  As you have found the error [access denied: 530] This means that the problem is with access. The user name and password that you enter is incorrect or you don't have the appropriate permissions.

  Error 530 is an access denied issue. This means that following:

  1 ID or password entered is not correct.

  2. If the user name and password is correct there is some question access or authorization with user name and password.

  First try to use any third-party tool like filezilla to log in if you get the error even the please contact your host for the correct password or to get the corrected permissions.

  I've been using mx2004 then passed to cs3 and errors of publication I upgraded to cs4 thinking that might be the problem.

  Have you tried to use a distinct and 3rd party FTP client? If you can successfully connect and download to aid what he would suggest process FTP of Dreamweaver is messed up.   Error 530 is an error on the side server. This error comes usually when you either entered incorrect identifiers or there are problems with permissions with your FTP account.

  I advise you to contact your host to tell you the correct FTP credentials and verify the authorization.

  Please check your FTP settings in Lightroom.

  Are you able to connect and download using another FTP Client?

  Also try the steps below: -.

  1. from the Web in Lightroom module, click export instead of loading.

  2. save the Gallery to a location that you can find easily (like your desktop).

  3. manually copy the Gallery of his location to save to your FTP server.

  I just installed CS 5.5 and got one of my sites all over the place. I can connect to my remote server very well and download to any directory other than the root?

  If I do, then I get this error (see below). This happens only when I try and put the files at the root, don't know why. I tried all the little things like:

  I can use any other FTP program and I can not put the files in the ROOT, so it's just a thing of dreamweaver 5.5. I also tried my Dreamweaver CS3 on my old mac and it works like a charm!
