Chris
There is an error caused by incompatibility. Have you tried to run the installer in compatibility mode for the oldest possible version of Windows?

Destination ARCHIVELOG and closing DB space
Hello
ENV: Oracle 10 g 2 (10.2.0.3) 64-bit on Solaris (not sure OS version)
A few days ago, one of process controls failed with 'ORA-03113: end of file on communication channel"in the log file (failure autour mid-night and since what happened in DEV env, I knew not that until the next morning). When I contacted s/n, I was told that destination archivelog had full.
In my experience of prev, in such situation, the database always became 'guillotine' of new impossible connections (with the exception of SYSDBA) but has never stop. And data base resumed normal activity after former archivelog files have been backed up and deleted.
So I wonder if it is possible for the database at the stop (do not know if 'crash' is the right word to use) after waiting for some time for space to become available to Archivelog Destination? If so, this parameter indicates the database queue before you stop time?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks EdStevens!

Why the shortcut for Pogo on my desktop to open my google home page?
I don't know why the shortcut on my desktop is no longer open Pogo. Now the yahoo home page opens when I click on pogo. What can I do to fix this?
Hello
Right-click on the icon for pogo on your desktop
Choose Properties
Make sure that you are on the shortcut tab
Next to the "target" there is a storage location of the executable file.
For pogo games, it is: C:\ Program PopCap Games\ (the game you are trying to play)
Enter the full destination and the ".exe" in the location target file and the shortcut should work fine.
You can also go to the folder above, locate the '.exe' file and right click and choose "send to" and then "desktop (create shortcut).

Moving files from an external hard drive to my computer
I'm trying to move files from a disk external HARD connected to a router on my pc, and whenever I try to do the system show me a window with this message. IO error 0x8007045D error, I see a permission problem, then I configured for the 'Full' destination folder security access for everyone and nothing happened.
Drive external hard there network permissions to connect with the computer and move files through the router? Have already transferred files with the disc external hard connected this before? It would work a lot better if you just connect the external hard drive directly on your computer.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

Conference CME v9 SLBA Adhoc (more than 3 games) for SIP phones 99xx
HI, does anyone know if MultiPary Adhoc Conference for more than 3 parties for SIP phones (like 9951) is supported in CME v9?
I have a GUY working with CSPC and SIP phones. Conference to several ad-hoc (with more than 3 parties) works perfectly when it is generated from phone SCCP. But when he tries to do so with a SIP phone (9951) it can only do the 3 participants.
I suspect it is not supported, no one knows for sure?
I have enabled hardware Conference. Just in case, here is the config:

Your first step to resolve the destination archive full question.
Version:11.2.0.3/Solaris 10 DB
When the destination of the Archive (LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1) is full, what would be your first step to resolve the error archiving so that companies can continue to access the DB?But how we inform oracle that the location of the FRA has some free space left now.
OVERLAP ARCHIVELOG ALL;
REMOVE EXPIRED ARCHIVELOG ALL;"erases" the use of the FRA. You can query V$ FAST_RECOVERY_AREA_USAGE before and after these commands.

Drive C is full, how do I change the destination to D drive?
Original title: complete C drive
How to change the destination drive to D: for all future downloads and facilities of new programs
Hello
D: is normally the recovery partition on most computer brands (Acer being an exception) and is used for these purposes:
1. to reinstall Vista from in the case of a failure of the system, based on individuals or the keys at startup.
F10 or Alt + F10 or F11 are a couple of different manufacturers use sequences.
You will need to ask your manufacturer for proper sequence.
2. to make the recovery disks on if your drive hard breaks down, so that you can then reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive.
Also ask them how to make records.
Your D: Recovery Drive is should not be used for backups, defragmented, etc..
There are backups on an external hard drive.
To resolve the problems that have arisen with the recovery D: Partition, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to remove all that has been added to it.

The problem for entire C: drive:
This free program allows you to see what is taking place.

When you perform a full backup in Windows 7, is also trying to save the destination drive
Hello when I do a backup on my computer he wants to save the destination for my backup disk. I use the Windows 7 professional 64-bit operating system. I know that he cannot back up the drive on which the backup happens. How can I prevent that from happening.
Hi FrancisEarley
Yes, the backup can not be performed if the destination drive is selected in the backup list, if it is selected, then be sure to uncheck this drive and then proceed to the backup or if you want to include this backup disk, and then you must select a different destination location.
For example, you can't back up the contents of drive E: to drive E:
You can follow the steps of manual backup and verification-
(a) open Backup and Restore.
(b), select 'Configuration Backup' or 'back up now '.
(c) and then in the list to save drivers deselect the destination drive, if it is present in the backup list and move forward with new steps to perform the backup.Refer to the below help links -.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/back-up-your-files
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/how-does-Windows-choose-which-files-to-back-up
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/where-should-I-save-my-backup
I hope this helps.

ARCHIVELOG destination full and moving them to the new location for the backup
Hello
DB: 9.2.0.7
OPERATING SYSTEM: AIX 5.3
When archivelog destination fills, I changed the destination of the log and tried to take the backup of the archivelogs tape after you move all the log files to new fixed location. But the archivelogs were not backup the new place and simply french.
The steps that I followed were here and please suggest, if I was wrong, doing so.
1)
I put the new location as,
SQL > alter system set log_archive_dest = ' LOCATION = / app/oracle/archive_New ";
2)
I moved all archivelogs in new location(/application/oracle/archive) with the UNIX 'mv' command
3)
After that I connected to RMAN to make all of them validate.
RMAN > CHANGE ARCHIVELOG VALIDATE ALL;
4)
I run backup the archivelog all with remove entry
RMAN > backup all archivelog entry delete; # Is this tape backup
5)
After that tape backup archivelogs, I reset the archivelog to the original destination
SQL > alter system set log_archive_dest = ' LOCATION = / oracle/u02/archive_original ";
6)
Newspapers original back move using the UNIX 'mv' command if all newly generated archivelogs it
Do you have the logs, validate
RMAN > CHANGE ARCHIVELOG VALIDATE ALL;
7)
Run the backup archivelog tape,
RMAN > backup all archivelog entry delete; # Is this tape backup
In my case, running the RMAN backup script will backup (Storage) team and they do not part of DBA (DBA do not have permission to run the script). So, I'll call them to run the script after you complete the steps 1,2,3 and 5.6.
Please suggest me the process that I've specified is correct?
Thanks & Regars,Seems not are OK.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x 86 version and tries to install exPressit (by Memorex) is a very simple program and I just reinstalled Windows 7 just before so I have a new facility, 230gig of free space and 3 GB of ram so it could just be no proplem. Ive tried running as administrator and also replacing compatibility down to xp and Vista. I currently have 3 other computers using this program with Xp Proffesional, Windows Vista Ultimate, and Windows Vista Home Edition with no problems at all, so any ideas would be great cause if I don't find a solution quickly, that I have to downgrade to Vista.
You should contact the support of exPressit on the compatibility of Windows 7.

In iPhotos, you can create a page of book that showed cards with your travel destinations. The kids loved because they can now see to what extent they traveled. This feature doesn't seem to be transported on the photos App updated. Can anyone explain why?
You can add a map with markers places, but arrows like in iPhoto or Aperture are perhaps not available, because the pages with arrows caused constant crashes in iPhoto, who knows.
As a workaround: you could create a map with location markers page and print the page in PDF format, and then draw the arrows in preview on the map and import the page map of pictures as a photo. Add this photo to the photo book full page.

I'm using Time Machine (1 TB), works very well, but because full starting to delete previous backups. Can I add another (LaCie 1 TB) HARD disk for backups? If so, how to proceed. Thank you!
You can add another drive to accept backups Time Machine... assuming it is correctly formatted for Mac to Mac OS extended (journaled), but things are not exactly "continue."
You have not indicated if you intend to add the player to the USB port on the Time Capsule, or connect directly to your computer using USB or FireWire connections. Or the other method works, with the option to connect directly to the computer being the faster connection.
Once the disc is added, you would go in Time Machine preferences (click the "clock" at the top of the screen on your Mac) to add the disk for Time Machine backups and delete the old Time Capsule disk, since backups will go is no longer this destination.
Since you have a new drive, Time Machine will do a new full backup of your Mac and then go forward with incremental backups.

Hello
What a file type was there? Maybe an *.inf file? If such a and *.inf file is existing, then fine. Just go in to the graphics device, and Device Manager
going to install new drivers and then when windows asks a driver, just to set the folder where the drivers are as the destination of the driver.
Windows should take the driver and install it.Welcome them
