  I've recently updated (?) from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  At first, that everything worked well.  However, I started to get more notifications and error messages that various HP software or files did not work properly whenever I booted the computer or printed.  To try to solve the problem, I tried to download and reinstall the complete driver package.

  Everything seems to work fine until I asked me to connect the printer.  The printer is detected immediately and the process of initialization (before installing) proceeds for several minutes until it got to 99%.  At this point, it remains at 99% for a long time and gives me an error message stop the installation process.

  I managed to install a basic printer driver using Device Manager and update of Windows, but this driver doesn't provide limited scanning capabilities.  I really need the HP TWAIN driver scanner that comes with the complete package so I can scan from my document feeder and have 8.5 "x 11" paper scan as paper 8.5 x 11 inches (not 8.5x14).

  How do I setup beyond this 99% error process?

  Found the answer to my own question.  Just in case someone else has a similar problem, when subsequently installing full driver, you will receive a list of items that will be installed.  Choose "Customize".  Deselect "HP Toolbox."  Continue with the installation.  When I did, everything has been installed correctly, including the scanner of HP Twain driver.

  Hello. I have Pavilion G6 2342dx running Windows 8. Yesterday, I used HP support assistant to perform some recommended driver updates. Among the things to day was the device of Qualcomm Atheros Wifi driver and the driver of HP wireless button. Peripheral installed WIFI was 10... 222, 10... 212.

  After the update, my laptop cannot detect any wifi network. This shows simply 'no detected networks.' I also noticed that the light on the button wifi (F12) is always white If yes or no I activate flight mode or not. I get a message on the screen of property on the change in status of airplane mode. However, it doesn't seem to be actually toggle the wifi because of the sidebar, it looks like wifi is on but with the message "no media detected" persistent. In addition, wifi on the status bar icon is grayed out with a red x.

  I tried deactivating and activating the adapter without success. I tried to download and reinstall the driver (10... 212) with no luck. I even tried to disable, uninstall and then reinstall the device in Device Manager. System restore fails whenever I have it try. Interestingly, the last driver on the HP support Web site is the 212, no mention of the 222 pilot.

  Everyone has experienced the same? I would really appreaciate help on what I am completely stuck.

  Thanks for all the help. I finally resorted when you run the upgrade to Windows 8.1 and that seemed to take care of the problem.

  I get this message every time I boot my laptop. I took the ask me later option and checked to see if I have the latest update of driver (NVIDIA GeForce 8200 m) and Device Manager indicates that I do. I check with NVIDIA and they want delete me the two files that I can't find in the registry (ISUSPM startup) and ISUSScheduler. Another site says remove the driver and install it manually. NVIDIA recommends the use of my computer is built to do the installation. What should I do?

  I tried the solution of joel S but it did not work. I still got the message "finish the installation of the driver." I did a search online and stumbled on what seems to have solved the problem. Some people think UAC is the problem and suggested to disable. Then I turned off the User Account Control feature and rebooted my computer. The message went away after I restarted my computer. I have re-enabled the UAC feature and the problem did not return. I don't update my NVIDIA driver anytime soon. From what I found on the net, NVIDIA has had this problem with their drivers for a couple of years.

  I am myself kicking because he always had a guarantee of the week on this subject when I got the error "Short DST Failed". • Reading full drive and cannot see the files! Mac OSX 10.4.11 to 10.6.8 - 32 GB Cruzer USB Glide

  I just bought the Sandisc Cruzer Glide 32 GB flash drive to move photos from one MAC to another.

  -J' have plugged my MAC running 10.4.11 and slipped the records on that I wanted to move. I have not install or use the software Sandisc because it was compatible with 10.5

  -J' I plgged the disc in my MAC running 10.6.8 and flies files

  -J' then slipped the files on the USB in my dustbin of Macs, it looked as if they were out of it

  -J' then plugged the USB in my old MAC and the player complete bed

  Any help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance for answer. Most of the responsed that I found on the forum are related to Wndows machines

  On Mac if you do not empty the trash before the USB is disconnected, it will not actually free up space. can solve the problem 2 ways.

  1. If the files are still in the trash, connect the USB drive and empty the trash. This should free up space

  2. connect the USB drive and use disk utility to erase the drive. Make sure that you use the type of file MSDOS or exFAT for the filesystem for maximum compatibility.

• Full drive C on Vista

  I have a recurring problem that my C drive is completely filled, even if I deleted almost all the separate E and an external HD player data files. The user of the main memory is the "Appdata" folder in 'users', which represents almost 1/2 the C player's memory. The cuprit is 'Outlook', is it possible to move this E drive or on an external drive?  Is it easy to replace the H/D with a larger? Should the system be completely Formated etc.?

  You did not say if Outlook is Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express (Outlook Express is not available under Vista but there are solutions available to add it to the Vista, where the inclusion of the link to instructions below). If you do not have Outlook Express and then ignore the link kb/175037 below. Anyway one of the links below may help you move storage folders to a different drive/partition.

  Replacing the hard drive is relatively easy so you know what you are doing the new drive should be the 'master' and any secondary drive the "slave".  The new disk, of course, will have formatting and you need to reinstall your operating system and other programs.

• HP Photosmart more B210 not selected

  With my HP Photosmart more B210 printer, I accidentally not selected as the default printer.  I followed the video instructions to select this option to return, but he would not choose and instead, was a symbol of "troubleshooting."  There is no problems identified through troubleshooting.  I tried deslecting all other options down the left and always the symbol of "Troubleshooting" stayed.  When I tried to go to a frame earlier, the PH site says that there is no previous setting.

  At this point, I would say select you "remove device", then disconnect the USB cable.  Download the full driver recommended from HP here and reinstall the printer.  Do not reconnect the USB up to be instructed by the installer.

  I suggest the following: disconnect the cable USB, then download the full driver recommended from HP here.  Once the download is complete, run the Setup program.  Do not connect the USB cable until the installation program invites you to do.

  Stand by. You can start Vista correctly?

  You can move all the private data such as pictures, movies or documents on the E partition and make more free space on the C partition.

But on another target PC starting the Labwindows/CVI Full IO recommended (attached screenshot) fails with an error-145 when trying to load testexec.uir. Both targets have Windows7 64-bit and Office 2010 installed. How will I know what ActiveX control is missing or damaged on the second PC?

  You can use the option "Hide the license dialog box" on the Installation Options tab. This will not prompt the user to activate TestStand until they try to open the software after installation. What is the desired behavior?
