  KB2685813 was apparently the above Windows Update. He appears twice on the same date (in November 2012) in the list of my computer for updates.  I tried to uninstall it, but get the message that the uninstall failed.

  Wudfsvc service is set to automatic, but it is not started.  It displays the message "unable to read the description. "Error Code: 193. In the Manager of tasks, under services, its status is "stopped".

  Thank you.  I solved the problem more simply.  I learned live to access corrupted files (TrustedInstaller owned files and blocked any changes to them) and replaced by vouchers.  Now everything works.

  There is information online times how to change the owner of TrustedInstaller or anything else and then restore ownership to TrustedInstaller.

  I was struggling with this ACER for more than a year. I have do it I have back when it was still under warranty, 14 months ago. Now I've updated free online through Microsoft for Windows 10 back in early August. I had hoped that my mess was a stack of the operating system, but unfortunately, it's still a piece.   your ZC-102 will not have a direct drivers updated from Acer support, which means you have to rely on Windows Update by itself the drivers or get them by yourself.

(Stupid question). I reset to a previous set value - did not help. The LG say that they provide no drivers that all their products run on native Windows drivers. Acer technology referred me to people from Microsoft Windows. The LG player correctly purrs when it is plugged into the USB port and the glow of green light. I ensured that the player was clean (/ alcohol swab). The disc is clean. Once again, I have played the disc on the drive but attached to another computer and everything worked fine.  I think that it is a driver problem. I read the forum messages that say when Windows sends updates that they often ruin the drivers and some people report that they continue to re - download drivers for their external players.   Your post says "Device Manager doesn't detect external cd drive" if so you cannot change the driver if your devive is not listed in Device Manager. Try to connect to a powered hub.

  If the computer is running XP or Vista, for example, before installing W7, it may mean that the manufacturer of the PC card or network did not have a driver for W7.

  Go to the site of the original manufacture of the PC (brand/model) support and see if they make an adapter for your specific model of W7. If they do download it, to get the right version IE 32 or 64-bit as needed. If the PC manufacturer doesn't provide one, try the website of the company that makes the actual adapter and see if they do.

  If you are unable to connect to the internet on this PC, you will need to download the driver on another PC and transfer it through via a USB stick or an SD card.

  Is there no driver W7 made for your specific PC and its adapter, then you may need to consider buying a replacement network card and use it.

  Although when I had windows 8 is installed, the driver worked for some reason any and I had a better performance with the new driver, however I updated to 8.1 and only the work of site vaio drivers

  The question I want to ask is the amd 14.1 update will work with vaio or will there soon be a new driver coming out, its been over a year since the last update. Ive heard the 14.1 update uses the coat that improves performance and I want to get the most out of my vaio.

  I don't know if an update is about to be released, but it's in the works. The current update shoulb be optimal and there is no need for the moment to try to use a unverified driver that could cause the problem. It will be useful.

  Hello. I have Pavilion G6 2342dx running Windows 8. Yesterday, I used HP support assistant to perform some recommended driver updates. Among the things to day was the device of Qualcomm Atheros Wifi driver and the driver of HP wireless button. Peripheral installed WIFI was 10... 222, 10... 212.

  After the update, my laptop cannot detect any wifi network. This shows simply 'no detected networks.' I also noticed that the light on the button wifi (F12) is always white If yes or no I activate flight mode or not. I get a message on the screen of property on the change in status of airplane mode. However, it doesn't seem to be actually toggle the wifi because of the sidebar, it looks like wifi is on but with the message "no media detected" persistent. In addition, wifi on the status bar icon is grayed out with a red x.

  I tried deactivating and activating the adapter without success. I tried to download and reinstall the driver (10... 212) with no luck. I even tried to disable, uninstall and then reinstall the device in Device Manager. System restore fails whenever I have it try. Interestingly, the last driver on the HP support Web site is the 212, no mention of the 222 pilot.

  Everyone has experienced the same? I would really appreaciate help on what I am completely stuck.

  As I can see from another thread, you Satellite L50-A-1CU. According to the specifications of the laptop this laptop was offered with pre-installed 64 bit ML WIN8.1.
  Preinstalled OS contains all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities, so I want to ask you if there is a problem with the feature.

  Please don't get me wrong, but I use laptop 4 years but always with the original substance of preinstalled and everything works perfectly so I don't see the reason to change anything if the machine works well and pre-installed OS is stable.

  One last thing. Do not use the Microsoft drivers. Some of them are offered as optional Windows updates. Don change anything. Use the original Toshiba drivers only.
