My problem is not a simple installation of 'failure '. I just want to find out where the entries are which are originally to show 2 Windows Vista o/s when I 'start' my computer when there are 'only' real installation. When I put the DVD in its loading and a window pops up asking if I want to install and I press Yes. After a while a box appears that says I don't have enough storage for temporary files.   How do you reinstall Vista, what steps did you take?

  What is a wireless keyboard?

  If this is the case, check the batteries and make sure that the keyboard is very close to the receiver (a few inches) to see if the problem resolves.

  I suggest updating your anti-virus definitions and run a fun system scan.

  You can connect another keyboard to your computer to see if it might be the fault of the keyboard?

• The installer for Windows Vista is wrong...

  I was recently given an old "Lenovo Thinkpad SL500' with a failing HARD drive.  On the Palm of the laptop is Windows label that reads "Windows Vista Basic". I put in a disc of Windows Vista (x 86 version) and windows load, and to enter the serial number, it starts to install "Windows Vista Business" (perhaps the original owner updated the version of windows). At the end of installation, I go to activate and I like that it's the wrong version of windows for the serial number, hmmm... !  Think it should have been the version 64-bit (x 64), I perform the re - install, once again tell them he set up "Windows Vista Business" (64-bit version). Still, I get the same error message when you try to activate.

  Time to cheat, I re - install again, but don't get me the serial number, which then gives the option to select the version of vista to install, this time I select Vista Basic (32-bit and 64-bit later).   You will need to contact Fujitsu about this.

  You cannot change languages with Vista Ultimate and Enterprise.

  You can have a different result if you try reinstalling using this method.

  You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

  Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

As my Dell OEM chassis has been replaced by a generic box (the new motherboard did fit properly into the exclusive Dell chassis), I do not have the sticker with the information of Windows, so I can't post it. • Re-installation of Windows Vista error

  I'm doing a clean re install of Vista on my computer. After booting from the installation CD, everything goes well until what happens to a point where it says "finish installation" (I get green check marks next to "copy of windows files, expansion of files, installation of the features and install updates").  Once it gets to the point "finish installation", it just gets stuck.  Finally, all I get is a blank screen with a cursor.  I tried this several times with the same result.

  The computer will not start, even in safe mode (probably because that it doesn't have a full OS on it more).
