  I was ondering w if someone can help me. I installed windows 7 on my laptop which is a MSI Wind U100 and before that I did when I press a function key symbol appears on the screen. But now when I press the function key no symbol doesn't appear on the screen of my laptop. I was wondering if someone could help me because its annoying and I cannot see how my volume is upward or down or both my shine.

  You may need to update the drivers and utilities for your laptop with Windows 7 drivers, and check if the function is to return. Link from the manufacturer:

  I know this is trivial, but the graphical indicators on screen for my function keys have disappeared.  The little indicator Sun left for the brightness of the screen, and the volume indicator is no more.  Work function keys, but I really liked seeing the screen indicators too.  Any ideas?  I have a Pavilion DV6

  After exploring the features 'accessibility', it seems that the on-screen keyboard now appears by default even before the connection. I can't seem to get it out.   After you have reinstalled a clean windows on my Envy 15-3040NR, I noticed that the function keys are the primary use on the F keys. So now, I need to press fn + f1 to actually get f1.
