  I work with Windows 7 Professional.

  When you use the keyboard on the screen, I need the function keys is always visible. I understand that by clicking on the Fn key shows the function keys instead the pad, but as soon as I use one of the F keys, the number keys are presented again. But now when I press the function key no symbol doesn't appear on the screen of my laptop. I was wondering if someone could help me because its annoying and I cannot see how my volume is upward or down or both my shine.

  You may need to update the drivers and utilities for your laptop with Windows 7 drivers, and check if the function is to return. Link from the manufacturer:

  I had a laptop Asus X54H Windows 7. Then I downloaded Windows 8 on it, that I love, and now I can't use shortcuts. Usually, I would conclude function, then I would press f10 for mute, f11 to decrease the volume and the f12 key to increase the volume. These three do not work. I would like to be able to control the sound with the shortcuts keys. Sleep still works (f1) and Wi - Fi connection key works, (f2). Although the screen shortcut keys do not work. I would have preferred, but it is not as necessary as the volume keys. Any ideas?

  Also, try to install the "ATKACPI driver and utilities focused on the shortcut key' from the following link - the last version displayed is V1.0.0023 for Windows 7, but should work in Windows 8:

  Change the OS to Windows 7 32-bit, if you are using 32-bit Windows 8.

  System Preferences > accessibility > keyboard - uncheck 'Enable Sticky Keys.

  I use the laptop HP 15-af114AU (AMD A8 Processor). Running on Windows 10-64 bit

  Its been only 2 weeks, I bought. The brightness of key i, e, f2 and f3 were working, then after a few days, I noticed it wasn't.
  I tried to do it manually through the brightness on the settings option, although there was no change.
  From the moment I bought this laptop, I downloaded SKYPE, Chrome and some THEMES for google Chrome.
  All other funtion keys work except these.

  Try the following.

  Download the AMD HD graphical installer on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

  http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp74501-75000/sp74716.exe

  One when you're done, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of the AMD graphics card and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.

  When this is finished, stop the laptop.

  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Start Notepad and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

  The default behavior of the F1 through F12 keys on the z500 are assigned to the laptop computer functions like mute, turn sound or brightness up and down and so on.

  Is there a way to reverse the way F1, F2... F12 keys work as they work like on any other regular keyboard.

  I use the basic features of the F - keys all the time, when renaming files, research and so on and I want to be able to use them without having to press "fn" every time.

  Windows XP starts normally, then the graphic display oscillates 90 degrees to the right!

  Press CTRL + ALT + the up arrow key.  If that doesn't work try CTRL + ALT + one of the other arrow keys.
  Also try to do a right click on the desktop, select Graphics Options | Rotation | Normal

  Is there a way? Absolutely!

  Will it work for you? Probably not.

  Here's the deal. You could make it work if you create output EXE. But I'm guessing that you might not like or can't use the output of the EXE. This means that you probably have to use the Web browser to present your content. And there's the rub. Some keys are not allowed because browsers reserve them for their own purposes. Thus, they don't never let them to be used for the content they present.

  As far as I know with the FN + F11 key combination, you can activate and deactivate additional functions for buttons with the little gray signs and symbols.
