Fund Manager degraded
I need to be able to affect a Fund Manager, and the background should have the following properties:
1. rounded corners
2 gradient color - grey white
3. being able to have arbitrary height because I don't have a fixed number of items, I will show that the elements are generated after an http call.
The class BackgroundFactory offer for have a color degraded without rounded edges, or if it has rounded edges it must be with acute angles.

Addition of the Manager at bottom of screen (without setStatus)
Hi all
I have a custom class that extends HorizontalFieldManager. Basically, whenever this custom handler is added to the screen, I want to add at the bottom of the screen - without using setStatus() (as setStatus() has a white background, and I need to make it transparent).
Can someone help me with what the custom HorizontalFieldManager sublayout method? All my attempts have failed. I made sure that the screen to which the handler is added to a defined on NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL.

How do you handle the main area of the screen scrolling? You add the majority of your fields directly to the screen? Or maybe you have a separate VFM doing the work?
In the case of an optimization of separate resources, you can make this slightly customized one - calculate how much height will occupy your 'status' Manager (getPreferredHeight() can sometimes work), subtract from what you have overall (Display.height () - your title/banner in height), to calculate how much you can give to this environment VFM (principal), and have your main like this VFM sublayout :
protected void sublayout(int maxWidth, int maxHeight) { super.sublayout(maxWidth, Math.min(maxHeight, allowedHeight)); }You can then add your manager 'status' on the screen after this 'main' value for money - and have it stay there.
Another approach: use setStatus on your Fund Manager, then find his manager (getManager) and setBackground on that one. I have not tried, but it could work (though I doubt it).

I can't connect the Curve 8330 to the Desktop Manager. I have replaced the software three times, replaced the device itself, and replaced the USB cable. In addition, holding an end of this forum, I removed and replaced the battery on the device when it is connected to the computer via a USB cable. The symptoms are the same:
The PIN code of the device appears for a second or two, then disappears from the port drop. Try to locate the device on the USB from the drop-down list parameter only results in an error message "device not found". My operating system is Windows XP. The inhabitants of tech at Verizon were useless. Help!
A Dell tech Representative helped me solve the problem. It was a conflict with another program in the startup routine of Windows (XP, all the stuff that takes over in the right-hand side of the taskbar at startup). It turned out that the backup software from my hard drive - called, Bounceback professional - of external backup was interfering with the Desktop Manager software. We test-fixed 1 start-up in safe mode. Most of the start-up programs do not load in safe mode. This shows that the Fund Manager and the blackberry could talk to each other. Then we went to the start menu, click Run and type in msconfig and press ENTER. Which displays a screen of dialogue. Click the Startup tab. One by one, I've tested startup programs by disabling their (remove the check mark next to the list) until I found the conflict. Then cousres I had to restart in normal mode. When a dialogue box came to warn me that I had changes in settings, I selected the option to not warn me again at the next startup. It works fine now. Good luck.

VMware view for office management
Our Organization is currently looking in the options of office management. Currently the staff to manage their own desktop computers (run as administrator) and assistance to support (painful, yes I agree). We seek to make progress on the path to a strategy of Fund managed with a product like the MS system center configuration Manager. However, we are also interested the concept of vmware view, since he would theoretically cut down on the need to support and boost security.
Does anyone have any success stories/reccomendations of implementation of vmware view as a desktop replacement in a common scenario?
I worked on a project where the customer has replaced desktop 1200 by VDI. Initially they BIG clients like the connection device, but now they also used will be to implement thin clients. It is a client of finance, so that they use Office products, Acrobat Reader and some banking applications.

Using MS Money 2000 v8, distribution of assets report shows cash and bonds but does not take into account the managed funds. It shows the part of the Treasury of funds managed in cash... How can I get to show all assets. I checked the selection boxes are set correctly.

My security alerts continues to tell me that the automatic updates are disabled. I check in the Security Center, and they are in position "on", but it won't download updates. When I go to the Microsoft website to update directly, I get a message says "the site is unavailable at this time" with the error code [0 x 80070424]. Microsoft doesn't even have it classified as a potential error code. I checked the status of the Fund Manager and it is set to "Auto" and it is started, but does not resolve the issue.

Hi all.
Can someone please put me in the right path for deploying applications OTA (Over The Air)
Here's my problem.
I created a Java application using eclipse plug-ins; the name of the application is PP; as a result, it has generated the following files:
PP.jad
PP.cod
PP.jar
PP.axl
inside PP.jar (among others), there 1.cod PP PP - 2.cod and PP.cod (which has a different size of the PP.cod mentined above)
I deployed with success my PP app to the device using a USB cable via the Fund Manager of BB, but I'm stuck trying to deploy OTA.
In my public URL (accessible and visible from the device Explorer); I copied the PP.jad; PP.jar and PP.cod
The problem is that when I type my url *.jad since the device Explorer (Ej: http:www.myserver.com/download/PP.jad )
get http 404 (not found) error and I can't get it to work.
My understanding is that the Explorer are the PP.jad; but this jad has something inside.
I already tried a number of things like:
-Edit my file PP.jad to point the finger the *.jar and *.cod full instead of url
RIM-COD-URL-1: PP - 1.cod
-Unpack all PP-* .cod included in PP.jar in my download directory (and point the url full in the jad propper entry.)
-Make sure that the sizes of *.jar and *.cod in PP.jad ar good.
-Make sure the equipment of the Explorer, I can actually view the contents of my download directory
-J' tried (successfully) to download and install a standard midlet to the same URL to download.
basically I ran out of options so far, so if anyone can help me with this; I'm very happy that.

Hi all we finally got it works!
the problem was that my configuration page has been created on an IIS 6.0 web server and was not the correct MIME parameters required by BB OTA commissioning. I found myself adding these MIME and it works. the .jad files: text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor
the .cod files: application/vnd.rim.cod
(optional) .jar files: application/java-archive

Hi guys. I need your help so badly. I hope someone can help me with the solution on how to fix the error 545 jvm. I tried to use the Fund Manager to update the operating system or reinstall, however, it does not give the possibility to reload the operating system. The message says only: no provision and possibility to subscribe to the new version of the OS.
There is thus no apploader. I use the latest software of office. Also I can not connect with battery on as it always reboot due to the jvm 545 error.

Why inStartUp returns false after installation?

I have a question about the startup behavior.
I asked CLDC with startup option.
After the Setup application through the "BOLD" (OS 4.6.0.303) Fund Manager, that is running, but not as inStartup.

Wow, I just finished about 4 hours of implementation based on the knowledge base article DB-00092 only to learn that "SerialSyncManager" is obsolete.
I implement a backup/restore function for use with the Fund Manager and most of my code is in a class derived from 'SyncItem '. Is there something that replaces SerialSyncManager and an article in the knowledge base that describes its use?

Questions about the storm of scrolling
Hey all,.
I'm currently porting a project I wrote for Trackball BlackBerrys above storm using the API 4.7. I'm having a lot of problems with scrolling. In my project of trackball, that I have three screens that need to scroll and my version of Storm none of the screen are the scroll correctly. I hope I can get some advice on what needs to be implemented on the storm to get the scrolling to work properly.
Overview of the main issue:
I have a screen that has 3 managers on that. On this screen the upper and lower managers need to stay in the same position on the screen. Middle extends from VerticalFieldManager and contains a large number of custom fields (varies depending on the field how much user generated). Each of these fields is focusable. The constructor for VerticalFieldManager calls:
Super(Manager.VERTICAL_SCROLL |) Manager.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR);
On the Trackball version just scroll with the trackball to select all of the fields that has been added to the screen. On the storm version scroll doesn't work if you select a field that is partially hidden. Once you use this to achieve you cannot select fields that are not on the screen to start (i.e. everything that is below the initial load of the screen).
The functionality of typical scrolling where you just touch the screen and move your finger up and down does not at all. If you do this it simply changes with a focus on the fields that are displayed (to access any scrolling, you must select a field that is partially off the screen or behind the Fund Manager). I have a NullField which is active at the top and bottom of the Manager, but it still will not allow me to scroll.
If anyone can give me advice on how to fix this I would really appreciate it... I can't seem to find any documentation that implements really shows how to properly scroll on a storm.

How to play mp3 speaker BB Storm?
I'm playing an mp3 on the storm. I read through known (see thread below), I have to come sound in the headphones, but I'm still not able to get sound from the speaker of the device.
The thread that the above indicates that the solution is to change the AudioPathControl after the media are started. I put tracing instructions in the code and AudioPathControl.getAudioPath () == before AudioPathControl.AUDIO_PATH_HANDSFREE and after I start the media.

I used the Fund Manager to do an update and 4.7.0.76 is the version that was on the phone when finished. I know there are versions later, but if most of the phones do not have this version - then my sounds will not play.
I did my prefetch when I booted the player - I don't understand this part of the code, because it was not relevant to the discussion.
BTW - person knows if there are release dates to a later version of the operating system - one that will have the correct features for players? If I can hold off the release soon.
At the end of the day - he was not changing the audio track that does work, but the volume (as suggested in another thread). It's REALLY STUPID to have to lose resources system on a thread just to play the sound.
