  Try this:

  When the control gets the focus, set the alpha to transparent.

  Then when the control loses the focus, set the alpha to make it visible again.

• Images and site glitches are mixed and distorted. Why?

  Images spazzes and there are a lot of images being mixed up I click on one tab to another.
  For example. When I'm on youtube, then I click on another tab, say Facebook, facebook will change the tab, but the video player from youtube will be beautiful in the Center. She stayed until I scroll upwards or downwards, that erases the video player.

  When there are weird display objects, I suspect a graphics driver incompatibility.

  As a solution, you can disable hardware acceleration of graphics in Firefox and Flash:

  (A) in Firefox, uncheck the box here and restart:

  Firefox menu > Preferences > advanced > General > "use hardware acceleration when available.

  (B) in Flash, see this article from Adobe technical support: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

  Note: with disabled hardware acceleration, some users with the retina display reported that Flash uses only a quarter of the display area. I hope that this does not affect you.

  I am tring to set up webutil, but I am experiencing that there is no forms.cfg to the server. I only found the forms.conf in this way (C:\Oracle\Middleware\asinst_1\config\FormsComponent\forms\server) with this entry.

  1 backup and open the sign_webutil script in a text editor and check/read 2 comments:
  REM * Delete the text after the '=' below and replace with your password. ***

  2. look for the line:
  KEYSTORE_PASSWORD =

  and specify the password policy for your organization:
  KEYSTORE_PASSWORD = MyKeystorePassword

  3. look for the line:
  JAR_KEY_PASSWORD =

  and specify the password policy for your organization:
  JAR_KEY_PASSWORD = MyKeyPassword

  4. save the script and run it again to sign the JAR file.

  Make sure that ORACLE_HOME env is set.

  5 specify the path to the ui_icon as noted for example \Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Oracle\ui_icon
  6. then compile pls, generate, save & run the form to test.

• Company Logo Image dynamic form fields

  I designed a dynamic form of livecycle with fields for users. In this form, I want to insert an image field in the upper left corner of the page so that users can simply add their logo to business here. I have some doubts and need some clarification on a few issues I don't know how to:

  (1) I realize that I have to use the 'Field of the Image' object so that users to import the image of the logo of their computer. It's pretty simple. However, is it possible for me to add a default image in this area which says something like "Add your logo here" and I want this default image to not display on the screen only and not in print if the user has not inserted his own logo? Is there a way to do this?

  I had a quick glance and I couldn't find anything that can answer that for me. I was thinking about it and what I've done so far is, I added another 'Image' object in the same place and I added the photo "Add your logo here" in this area. I then put his presence '(screen only) Visible' and place this object located behind the object from 'field of the Image. Bascially as long as it does not, if the user adds a logo using the field of the image, this image overlaps the 'image' object that lies behind all this. What is the right way to do it? Or y at - it another simpler way to do this?

  If what I did above is the only option, then I see that there are some limitations to it. Let me explain... Lets say that the image in the 'Image' object are the size of 2 inches wide X 1 in height. Yes, if the user places an image of the logo using the "field of view" object above that, and if the size of the logo of the user is smaller than the image on the ground at the back (let's say the user logo is only 1 in. X 1 in. height width), then when the logo image overlaps the excess width of the image behind appears and it looks bad on screen. Hope this makes sense... Wondering if there is a way around this? I use 'Fit the picture proportionally' instead of 'Scale to fit Rectangle Image' for the image field object.

  (2) another thing is, once the user inserts an image using the "Image object" field, is it possible for the user to delete this image if the user subsequently changed his mind and does not want to add a logo to it? Do I need to add a button so that users to erase the images they have added to the image field object? If so, can someone help me with the jscript for this?

  Just an update regarding my Question 1 above:

  I struck out my old idea of placing an object image behind the object of field of view etc... etc... to show a hidden default image for logo insertion. Instead, what I've done is now, I only use the Image field object and have incorporated the image of 'Insert here the Logo' by default for this field. Beside that, I added the button 'Clear Logo' that basically clears the image in the image field. So here, if users add their logo, they simply click on this object and add their logo that will replace the default image in it. Or, if the user does not want to add any logo, they need to click on the button "Erase Logo" to rid the default image. I think it's probably better than the other method than I thought before. The only thing here is, I have to make sure that users are aware that they need to press the button 'Clear the Logo' if they want to erase the default image, otherwise it will eventually print as well.

  If anyone has any suggestions or do the same thing differently, please inform me.

  Ah... .it seems that you try to take a PDF image. This is a PDF file that were introduced to the Designer without fields as an image, then fields are buried on top. You will not be able to accomplish what you want with this type of form, unless return you the documents siurce and merge it and then create the form.

  I can ' t find examples anywhere of how to do a swap of the image on a flash form.
  
  Here's my situation: I have a form with a hidden field that contains the recordID database of an image or text. Beside that, the image will appear as a cfformitem type = html or as an image of cfinput type (put in place so that the click of a button has no effect). They are awarded by default as recordID = 1 and image src is an Apple.
  
  Then I have an iframe, showing a large number of photos (on the form). The user will click on a picture and it will then insert the recordID of this image in the form (that part works) and it will change the image in the form of one that has been selected.
  
  It would be like to choose an avatar from a list of hundreds and get the preview to display the form.
  
  As I said, I can get the text field to change. I need assistance with the image.
  It is not practical load all the images in the form because there are hundreds of them, and they only charge from a chosen category - that's why I use an iframe and I am relying on javascript to pass the values selected to the parent form. I can't just understand the path in the DOM to get the value of images.
