flash image swap form

Hello

I can ' t find examples anywhere of how to do a swap of the image on a flash form.

Here's my situation: I have a form with a hidden field that contains the recordID database of an image or text. Beside that, the image will appear as a cfformitem type = html or as an image of cfinput type (put in place so that the click of a button has no effect). They are awarded by default as recordID = 1 and image src is an Apple.

Then I have an iframe, showing a large number of photos (on the form). The user will click on a picture and it will then insert the recordID of this image in the form (that part works) and it will change the image in the form of one that has been selected.

It would be like to choose an avatar from a list of hundreds and get the preview to display the form.

As I said, I can get the text field to change. I need assistance with the image.
It is not practical load all the images in the form because there are hundreds of them, and they only charge from a chosen category - that's why I use an iframe and I am relying on javascript to pass the values selected to the parent form. I can't just understand the path in the DOM to get the value of images.

Thanks to all those who can help you.

I found the answer...

I just did some minor changes to the code to:

  • Did someone met flashing images/shapes when loading content before flash?

    Hello

    I had a question about a problem that I guess is flash related on Google Chrome.  I tried to get help on the forums of chrome but my messages seem to have ignored or not seen and it is quite frustrating.

    It's a question I've had for at least a month and a half or so Flash content, initially, I thought it was just the Youtube/Dailymotion videos, but it turns out that there's similar behavior on the ads that appear on the pages as well.

    The question is about a fraction of a second flash (sometimes a little longer) which seems to be a pixelated object, until the bar video is displayed and the video plays as usual.  It seems to happen on occasion, with at one point this happens quite often.  I noticed the problem has decreased somewhat, although I occasionally see the flash still occur.

    It seems to be a problem with Chrome, I was not able to reproduce this issue/event with other browsers at all, I can say that I solved the problem by disabling a plug-in of flash (when it was two more distinct) on an earlier version of chrome.  However in the recent updates of chrome, it seems that the problem appeared again.

    I apologize if this is the wrong place for this question but I wanted to ask these people here and adobe their opinion on this issue and that the guys they thing I can do to prevent it from happening.

    I have a number of screenshots showing the flashing image or article that I managed to catch via the printscreen.

    screenshot1.jpg

    screenshot2.jpg

    screenshot4.jpg

    I have a few other screens that are similar and can show those that well if people want to see them, just did not clutter up my first post, would really appreciate if someone can explain why this happens? I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you

    This seems to be a bug in version PPAPI of Flash Player for Chrome.

    To work around the problem, you can switch to the more mature NPAPI version.  See the thread below for instructions.

    Here is the public bug for reference:

  • Substitutes for image swap?

    I want to put a set of thumbnails on a page, so that when the mouse is over a corresponding enlargement appear to change when the mouse is over an another miniature.

    I managed to get this working with the behavior of the image 'swap' of DW, but I wonder if there is a better solution.

    A particular problem in the 'swap' image is that all large images must have the same report of the height and the width as the image of start they get deformed to match this dimension.

    FancyBox 2.1 (the last worm) has many more capabilities than the older ver 1.3 that I used in my demo.  Use the function code works.

    To change the background color (border), open the jquery.fancybox.css file:

    {.fancybox-skin

    position: relative;

    Background: #555; / * This command sets the border color * /.

    color: #444;

    text-shadow: none;

    -webkit-border-radius: 4px;

    -moz-border-radius: 4px;

    border-radius: 4px;

    }

    Hello

    Help me to make the Images appearing as Transperent. Attached screenshots

    At the first screen I need to visualize some inside this TextInput transperent Image when the mouse is focused on this TextInput, the Image will be completely Invisible.

    Now the question I would ask is, display image in form Transperent?

    Please find the screen photos attached with this thread.Post.jpeg

    Try this:

    When the control gets the focus, set the alpha to transparent.

    Then when the control loses the focus, set the alpha to make it visible again.

  • Flash Image Viewer

    I have created a page in the DW8 and have inserted a Flash viewer instance although despite the change settings in the Inspector of tags that controls should not be visible – they are and the pictures do not show when I preview the page in the browser (IE7). I created another page earlier in another site where it works perfectly. Can you make suggestions?

    Thank you

    If it worked on a single page and not on another, then he the difference would have to do with the settings that have been applied, or because of some other issue on the page in question. Therefore, you must post a link to your page and the State of specific faults will have to take to see the problem you are experiencing.

    FYI: this for is for users of Dreamweaver extensions, is add ons to Dreamweaver, not for features such as the Flash viewer. Many people visit forums general Dreamweaver including a better place for your question:
    http://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/Forum/categories.cfm?forumid=12&CATID=189&entercat= y

    FWIW: Flash Elements, which is the Flash viewer, are getting discouraged in the following (after CS3) version of Dreamweaver according to this page:

  • Name the image swap - can't find it in the tag Inspector.

    Hello

    I followed a description line how to swap images (mouseover) for a hypertext link. The article said that swap images work better if the images are 'appointed' which is one attribute other than the name of the image file. I was able to appoint the first image, but I've never had a window which allows me to name the image swap. The substitution effect works fine, but I want to follow best practices if the swap image must also be named.

    Where can I get the menu for naming image swap?

    Thank you

    Tom

    Just name the image of the trigger. Select the trigger, apply the
    behavior, find and select the incoming image (by file name!), and then click
    Ok.

  • Flash/php registration form

    Hi all

    I created a product registration form for my website and the basics of this beautiful work, IE when I click on send the info gets successfully by e-mail to me. I want extend the functionality of it, however. As it is, I get an email without worrying about whether the fields are filled or not. I would like to be directed to an error page when the e-mail field is empty and a thank you page otherwise, users. How can I do this? I guess it's possible either directly in flash or would the php load the browser to access the error page or thank you? Key is that I don't want the form to be present if the email is empty.

    My flash code:

    Stop();

    submit_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, sendMessage);

    function sendMessage(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    var my_vars:URLVariables = new URLVariables();

    my_vars. Serial = serials_txt.text;

    my_vars. Model = model_txt.text;

    my_vars. Name = name_txt.text;

    my_vars. Address = address_txt.text;

    my_vars. Country = country_txt.text;

    my_vars.email = email_txt.text;

    my_vars. Phone = phone_txt.text;

    my_vars. Retailer = retailer_txt.text;

    my_vars. City = city_txt.text;

    my_vars.date = date_txt.text;

    var my_url:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("mailer.php");

    my_url. Method = URLRequestMethod.POST;

    my_url. Data = my_vars;

    var my_loader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();

    my_loader. DataFormat = pouvez;

    my_loader. Load (my_url);

    }

    home_button.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToGoToWebPage_3);

    function fl_ClickToGoToWebPage_3(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.eversound-audio.com/home.html"), '_self');

    }

    Php:

    <? PHP

    $to = " [email protected] "; "

    $subject = ($_POST ['name']);

    $message = ($_POST ['serials']);

    $message. = « \n ». $_POST ['model']. "\n";

    $message. = ($_POST ['name']);

    $message. = « \n ». $_POST ['address']. "\n";

    $message. = ($_POST ['country']);

    $message. = « \n ». $_POST ['email']. "\n";

    $message. = ($_POST ['phone']);

    $message. = « \n ». $_POST ["retailer"]. "\n";

    $message. = ($_POST ['city']);

    $message. = « \n ». $_POST ['date']. "\n";

    $message. = « \n\n-\n » ;

    $headers = "from:". "." $_POST ['name']. "" < "." $_POST ['email']. "> \n";

    If (@mail ($ $subject, $message, $headers))

    Thanks in advance for the help.

    You can check this email within the sendMessage function field if you wish and then have it just show an error message rather than direct the user to another page (movieclip).  If send you them to another page, they can lose all entries that they admitted already depneding on how you designed the structure of the page.  You can have this movieclip error resemble the image of the page you showed...

    function sendMessage(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    If (email_txt.length > 0) {}

    treat all the code to send the data that you have now

    } else {}

    show the movieclip error

    }

    }

  • as I am sensitive to flashing images can I turn off blinking animations

    Blink quickly affect images me and it worries me that some may cause seizures, I can turn off the flash animations? It would be useful for sensitive people.

    For example my email page email providers had Jackpot.com ads with flashing quickly images that are bordering on the subliminal, other advertisers make this type of ad, so they would not be allowed on TV because of the risk so he could give Firefox users if they could turn the animations flash with an on/off switch.

    This isn't for lack of Firefoxes somehow, I install Firefox on all my computers, because it surpasses everything else I've tried.

    Install Adblock Plus from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

    Subscribe to the "Easylist" when you see the menu and then go to the list of subscriptions: http://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions

    At the foot of the page in the "Miscellaneous" menu, click on the link to subscribe to areas 'Malware' which will filter the malicious sites as well.

  • Backup PIX in Flash image

    Can someone tell me the PIX boot behavior when it comes to recovery from corruption/no valid image in flash?

    Example: Flash, I have 2 images:

    Image1.bin

    Image2.bin

    (If possible), what are my options to have 2 images and a boot sequence to first try a specific image. It would be useful in a retrofit situation where the newly applied image is corrupted or for any other reason cannot start the PIX.

    Maybe it's the behavior by default - I'm looking for confirmation or more details. Can I specify using: "boot system flash: / image1.bin" and then he'll try another if "image1.bin" does not work?

    You should be able to enter multiple boot commands with the same storage for example.

    flash boot system: /.

    flash boot system: /.

    etc...

  • Flashing image ghost on first Pro CC problem

    Good, everyone. Hope you can help me with this, since I am running out of ideas. Could not find discussions with the same problem as mine.

    I have a 1080 p short film shot on 2 different cameras Nikon D5100. I use first Pro CC, and some free LUTs I found online for the color correction (WARM2 ORIG/DARK Kino37 and GC_Reign_R36_709) on most of the scenes, which pourraient be the ones causing the glitch. Some have a brightness and contrast twisted slightly because the original film was too bright.

    I made the video by pressing the Enter key to make it play smoothly while I worked on it. The film lasts about 21 minutes, and after the first 2 minutes, the video began to Tickle/flashing, as if the light was changed image by image. I had to change a few things so that the video would be a new rendering itself and, after many hours, I managed to do work perfectly when I play it on the first.

    However, when I export the video, the problem is still there - except this time, instead of finding problems with the changing light, there is a ghost image blinking (one of the managers of the flashing video with a lower opacity) right on minute 4. I deleted the exported video before I remembered, I should have taken a screenshot to explain the problem. Stupid choice, I know.

    I tried the two H264. MP4 and Quicktime. MOV and still no luck. Video always plays very well inside the first, however. Speculate about what I could do to fix this?

    I guess this movie must be haunted...

    Hello Ignacio,

    Have you tried to export via Media Encoder? Have you tried to export without the lut to check if they are causing this issue? Have you tried to clean the media cache files? Have you tried to remove the preview files?

    Thank you
