Fuzzy imported films

Just bought a new iMac and import all the files of past (from old iMac) in the new computer film and now everyone is so blurry in iMovie they are unusable. When the movies are seen in photo, they play well, the problem is just in the iMovie program. Could use a little help here please...

They are high definition?  Are they blurred only while playing in a project timeline?  If this is the case it may be simply due to the computer is not fast enough to render in real time.  Try sharing - shared file plays OK in Quicktime Player?

  • iMovie will not import film

I have an old version of iMovie - ' 09, version 8.0.6. (821), who nonetheless worked for several projects.

I am now wanting to just download a short clip - long less than 1.30 min - to give subtitles. Can't seem to be able to import it. I click file, import, import film, I select the clip from my computer, and then the window that opens the so-called optimizing the clip closes everything too fast and nothing happens. I can't also drag and drop.

I tried .mov and .mp4 (it does not even recognize importable mp4, so with the foregoing .mov arrives). I also tried to import different clips, in which case this file has been corrupted. No luck.

I appreciate all help. Thank you.

The fact that the video file is a .mov or .mp4 does not guarantee that iMovie can import because MOV and MP4 are containers that can hold movies in various different codecs, some including iMovie can't handle (although I have not found a comprehensive list of supported formats).  Open in the brake hand and if it isn't already trying to convert to a format using video in the H.264 format.  Also, be sure that it is fixed frequency.

  • Fuzzy importing video to iPhone

I took some pictures of super-slo-mo 240 fps in my iPhone 6. I would like to import it and manipulate the FCPX (latest version).

I imported the media, then created a new project, with the video properties "defined according to first clip." Then I did drag the video file in the project. I got an error that says: "this video clip properties are not recognized. Click OK to use the settings below... "and it is pre-set at 60 p and 720 p HD 1280 x 720.

This isn't quite what I want, and I want to preserve the best quality as possible, so I changed it to 1080 p. (I don't know why he didn't know already, but...)

Once I started working with images, it is obviously blurry. When I export it as a master file (with default settings) and look at its results, it is extremely blurry.

    What I've done wrong?

IOpen the original clip in the QT player and report exactly what it says in the Inspector.

  • Importer film HDV: blocking of the system after indexing done

    First CS6 running with updates.

Solid app, but the first time I came across it this year has generally been importing HDV footage. After the index of images and photo thumbnail of "media forward" changes in the image of the real images, the mouse pointer freezes. The keyboard is frozen. Can't even put up the Task Manager in Windows 7 64. HDV is supported even more? Maybe it is an invalid format? The file plays fine in VLC, so I don't think that it is corrupt. But modern, I've never seen a Windows 7 application before hanging!

I discovered what was the key to the crash: the Sony camera images are a Western Digital MyBook FireWire drive. The images of Canon are on an internal SATA drive. So to test a hunch, I copied the images on an internal SSD and it loaded in first. No crash. Apparently, some incompatibility with FW drives and first. Just make a note of this.

When I take a screenshot of something and import it in AE, it's blurred. I need exactly as sharp as it appears in the PS (because it contains text).

My resolution is set on 'full' and I have when I go to the max, it is just too blurry. Any ideas?

The collapse Transformations button did the trick!

  • Fuzzy imports of PowerPoint

When I import PowerPoint 2010 or PowerPoint 2003 slides in Captivate 4, the blades are a bit blurry. I think it's because the PowerPoint presentation is 960 x 720 and I create a 1024 x 768 Captivate demo.

My screen resolution is 1024 x 768. I optimize my web browser, display the web page that I want to use in Captivate and press < Alt + PRTSCN > send it to the Clipboard. I have then create a new blank slide in PowerPoint and paste. Using this technique I end up with several PowerPoint slides which must become a Captivate demo.

I then create a Captivate project using the option "of MS PowerPoint'. The dialog box "Convert PowerPoint presentations" shows that the size is 960 x 720. When I click on the button "Preset sizes", it shows that it is the "PowerPoint Original project size." When I change to "1024 x 768 full screen", I get a message saying "the size of the PowerPoint presentation differ from chosen... size of the Captivate project. "When I go, I end up with Captivate slides that are a bit blurry.

How can I get clear 1024 x 768 screens Captivate imported from PowerPoint?

As noted the definition of PP size will be a better job: PP 2010 goto to the slide show tab, select the resolution and 1024 * 768.

As an alternative to keep private data private etc, you can also capture directly into Captivate, then place a text caption above the text to change and finally merge in the background.  The loss of quality of PP is resolved, and you can still achieve the goal of any personal or private etc.  This process is probably more than what you're doing.

[After a re-reading the original post]

You mention that it is quicker to do this in PP in Cp, but I suggest the following approach:

1 make the change to all places, you need to change the slide 1

    2. Select and copy these

3 select slides a moment that have the same data

4 paste the slide, all objects are added in the same positions as the source

    5. then 'Merge in the background.

If you use Cp5, then create an object style that had formatting depending on your text capture screen formats would be an easy way to keep this process through several slides and also projects (by exporting styles)

  • Need help: fuzzy imported files

    Hey all -

I imported some powerpoint (in JPEG format) files in Premiere Pro CS4.

When I put the slides in the source control panel (the one on the left, do not know if it's the right name), they look thin and crispy. However when I put them in the monitor program (right) and therefore in my sequence, they become a bit blurry. It's not terrible, just enough where it seems slightly off and the text is not clear.

The format of the pixels is 1.0 (square files) which I think is fair, because the correct appearance slides on the source control panel.

Anyone knows what is the cause and how can I solve this problem?

In any case, thanks for your help. It is much appreciated.

    Victor

    Victor,

We will study your project/sequence Preset - whichever you choose, when you have made a new sequence. What are the parameters?

You mention a DV tape, so I assume you're a Capture in PrPro through FW of miniDV tapes. Is this correct? If Yes, then your sequence should be PAL or NTSC DV and with NORMAL = 0.9, should be a Standard (4:3).

Now, let's examine the TIFF. When export you from PowerPoint, which is their pixel x pixel size? If much larger than your frame size of 720 x 480, you will get best results scaling them in Photoshop and then import into PrPro. PS scaling algorithms are better than PrPro, plus you get more control with parameters such as bicubic smoother and Bicubic Sharper - your source images could dictate a being better than the other. It's only once, where the bigger is NOT better.

Hope it gets sharper things even.

  • Windows Live Movie Maker plays a fuzzy imported .wmv file, which plays totally fine on Media Player

    Hello

I have Windows 7 and I'm trying to 'sting' 3 whole .wmv files in a movie. (You know, a very basic edition!) One of the files (once registered online or webinar) .wmv appears blurry on Live Movie Maker, but totally fine, clear plays in the drive Media.  Why?  Here are the properties of the file.

Can someone help me solve this?  Thank you!

Another possibility is that Movie Maker is just having trouble viewing clip Webinar.  Webinar clips using a different compression standard since they do not have a lot of changing information.  In addition, your screenshot, it is clear that the clip is in 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio, then maybe when Movie Maker it resizes to the preview, it causes content to blurs.  This is highly visible when you have the text slides where there are many small details.

As noted by J of volunteer work, you can try to convert and combine clips using Freemake Video Converter.  That could help.  In addition, you never said if you saw this blur in the preview, in the final movie, or both.  If the problem is in the preview, you could ignore it, especially if the video arrived at the final is very good.

  • Film 24 p from Canon .mts import does not work.

I was happy to see the premier CS5 could import film 24 p from Canon and have ready project settings for this.

I was disappointed to know that this function does not work.  The Prime Minister shows my files .mts in 29.97 FPS, so I guess that the camera should close the film 24 p inside the container of 29.97 FPS?

Did someone knows a way to easy to open a .mts file in After Effects, interpret the film for "Guess 2:3 pulldown" open and save and export the file again in the first?

I can't find a way to export the images interpreted After effects first.

  • Import photos from 6s iPhone to Mac

If I import film of 6 of my iPhone in the Photos of my Mac app, shouldn't these pictures already be in the Photos app if I enabled the iCloud photo library?

If you have iCloud library enabled on the iPhone and the Mac, Yes, all photos must transfer icloud library of Photos for Mac via the network.  The download may take some time, and you need a Wi - Fi connection.

See: iCloud Photo library FAQ - Apple Support

When you turn on iCloud photo library on your Mac or iOS device, your photos and videos will download once you connect to the Internet with a Wi - Fi connection and your battery is charged. You can see the status and pause the download for a day, when you do the following:

    • On your iOS device, tap Settings > iCloud > Photos.
    • On your Mac, click on Photos > Preferences > iCloud.

Depending on your Internet connection speed, the time it takes for your photos and videos to appear on the Photos app on iCloud and all your devices can vary. Make sure you put on iCloud photo library on each device.

You need only to upload photos via the USB connection, if you do not have access to Wi - Fi for long periods.

Why do you ask?  Are pictures showing as news, that are already on your Mac?

  • How to change my film saved using windows live movie creation?

This is my first time to make a movie using Windows Live Movie Maker. I didn't know that I have to save the project so that I can edit the video back again the next time, I thought record movie will be the same. But now, since I saved the film, I can't change it more. Any suggestions who can use to edit the film again? Really need help. It's an important film for me. Thank you very much. =)

If you have not saved your project file (.) WLMP) but only your video file (.) WMV) then there is no way to return the. WMV file. WLMP again. The best you can do to start a new project using the. WMV file. To import the given in Windows Live Movie Maker, use the link click here to see videos and photos in the middle of the screen in the usual way.

Your only other option would be to start your project of origin completely from scratch.

As you know - in the future, save your project file on a regular basis which is updated with any changes you have made.

  • Canon xf105 - multi audio channels in CC import mxf files

    Hello

We have recently upgraded to CC in all of our Department, and I am importing filmed on our Canon XF-105 using the MXF wrapper. 5.5, I could simply drag and drop the project in the timeline panel and have two audio channels recorded it. CC, I see that the audio recorded with channel 1 and my clip in this instance has been connected to channel 2. Is this something that is known? Did I miss something about the configuration of the project?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Everything you need to know about the project or files, give me a shout!

    See you soon,.

    Paul

Many things have changed since 5.5.

You need configure preferences before importing it.

Contained stereo to Mono Audio / default of Audio tracks.

Or change the audio channels of clips in the project window.

  • Basic question on the import/export of movies

Hi all! I'm a complete novice with Flash (and implementation). I used many years ago, but have not used in a time very, very long time. Flash may even not be the program I need... so let me know if this is the case.

Basically, I shot a video with my camera. It is a .mov file. I imported into iMovie and edited. Then I exported it as a .mov file. I want to embed the video in a web page. As far as I know, in Dreamweaver, it must be a .swf file. But I don't think that I can export a SWF of iMovie. Then I read online I could convert my file using Flash.

I followed the instructions, I found online, but rather it seems to work... it's not. Here's what I did:

I open a new file in Flash. I used the default type. I clicked on the timeline and went to file > import > Import film (using all the default choices).

I have broused find the .mov file. I clicked Next.

I chose a skin which is the default value (minimal flat Custom Color play back to see CounterV...). Clicking next. Clicked on Finish.

A small movie actor is now on the screen of my Flash.

I started to add frames (F5). I see images are added in the timeline panel.

But... when I go to play the film... He DOES not play... but the screen is black.

I see that I CAN export it as a swf file... but since I can't see the movie when I play, I'm guessing that's not working (the tutorial I used says that I should be able to see it at this point).

Then I'm go about how completely wrong? Why it does not work? Please help out me.

    Julie

PS I use Flash Professional CC c 13.0.0.759 on an iMac.

It is installed with flash pro.  Search your computer, it is already installed if you have flash pro is installed.

  • Import a Package

    Salvation;

I found and downloaded a flash film that I love and you want to include in my own movie online. It works as its own Flash animation. I've included a nameOfMovie import; appropriate in my own movie in my AS3 in the location code. The imported film is currently in the same folder. How can I make this movie any play? Naively, I assumed he will play automatically, and I need to adjust the code in the movie imported to change the trigger mechanism.

    TIA,

    Beno

I think that you should have is a FLA or swf file that already uses this .as file.  It seems to load library objects (HatAndFace, eyeball, etc.), that tells me there is another file that has these items in its library.  What I think you need to do is use a loader to load the swf file into your movie, not import the .as file... the video swf you found already uses this .as file.  If you don't have a fla/swf file with what you've got for this movie, you must.

Because the name of the file is the main, it's probably the document class of the fla file that created the film you want to load it into your other movie.
