    Hi there migmartinez,

Looks like you are looking to save your keyboard and bluetooth mouse battery by turning off your computer. You can turn off your mouse with the button on the bottom. When you turn back automatically re - will pair with your computer:

  • Re: Equium L40 - Windows 7 and the wireless switch

I upgraded my Equium L40 to Windows 7 and now, wireless equipment and F8 function switch switch the WLAN on and outside. It is permanently.

Also, even if it is enabled in the Windows 7 power options, close the lid won't be thecomputer to sleep. If I close it turns off the screen but doen't make Windows 7 options.

When I upgraded to Windows 7, I chose the option to do as a new installation and therefore lost my Vista installation.

I have download all the drivers for Windows 7 on the Toshiba site, even if there were not many.

Is there something else I need to do for the WLAN switch and cover works with Windows 7? Any help gratefully received.

  • Add internal Bluetooth and/or Wireless N dual channel HP dv4-2164us

My computer is currently under warranty, so I'm not eager to open the machine until the computer comes out of the warranty.  Before opening the machine, so these are my questions:

    Quick questions for gurus.

I think to add internal bluetooth and/or Wireless N dual channel my computer to HP dv4-2164us.

    1. My MB has connections to add a separate internal bluetooth card?
    2. To clarify the question 2... If the MB CAN normally do, HP is usually to have the connectors removed from the Mo for these types of potential improvements?
    3. What bluetooth card do you recommend?
    4. I currently have 2.4 GHz wireless n.  A different card support double n AND bluetooth would be a better solution?
    5. If Yes to question 4 What considerations such as antenna or other changes should be aware of them before the decision?
    6. All this that imagine you being to consider

    Thanks in advance!

FYI, the Bluetooth does not have an antenna.

  • How to validate windows XP and get wireless to work on compaq mini 110 c-1001nr?

My father (86) crashed his compaq mini and it was all blue screen, so I tried to use this recovery software to restore the factory settings, but nothing has worked. a friend suggested from scratch, so to format hard drive and reinstalled windows Xp for him. He worked for a month and now ask you the key product, but when we enter the key at the bottom of the computer it says invalid.

I tried HP support, but I need to connect to the internet to download anything and the wireless is not working.what can I do now?

When I start it up it says windows xp starts and says "the copy of Windows must be activated before you can connect" then we are stuck in the entrance of your product keys page. I click on phone, given that my key does not work and called the number he says and will not let me reset it.

Give Microsoft activation will not take the "reset" answer, youre activation, do not reset.

    That # is 8885712048

In addition, change "internet connection" in the Control Panel, locate the properties of the material change

In addition, change 'internet options '.

In addition, youre pc hardware software/drivers (if based on intel) intel.com will have the necessary downloads,.

  • his silence and buttons wireless seems to have been disabled

I accidentally spilled coffee on my notebook Pavilion dv6 notes and in a frantic attend to mop up the liquid, I must have somehow disabled the silent sound and buttons wireless while wiping the keys.  They worked before the oil spill, but not after.

Also, as an aside, the left shift key works more so.  It can be bypassed, but it would be nice if the worked.  Any help would be appreciated

    Hey @306hp ,.

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read on your HP laptop and get a fix of coffee. Try perform a reset. When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices and remove cards memory card reader location. Disconnect all non-essential devices.

If that doesn't help try to turn on the computer, on which you begin to press F11 repeatedly until the menu opens. You can do a System Restore. System restore allows you to convert any changes that might have happened after the accident.

I would use q-tips to ear slightly moistened to clean around the stuck key. Coffee gets in it a causes it to stick.

    Hope it will be useful.

    Thank you.

Hi, I reinstalled Microsoft WIndows XP Professional Service pack 2 on my computer that I needed a new start. but now I can't seem to connect to a wireless network in my house or via the ethernet RJ75 cable, I think how ever that the wireless card is now broken, but that shouldn't stop the Ethernet to work. in any case, I tried to connect to a net work through a wizzard, but it does not, even if I plug the ethernet cable, there is a confirmation light next to the plug as it should, but no confirmation on the acctual screen.  usually on the lower right side of the display there are usually a picture of two computers one in front of the other, but who isn't here either.  I hope someone can help.

    Thank you

You must install the device drivers for the Ethernet port and a wireless adapter.  If you do not have their share on site, you will need to download the drivers on another computer on a USB or burn it to a CD.  It is better to get them from your computer manufacturers web site.

You may also need, or should get the most recent and display drivers for your sound card, adapter, etc.

  • Questions KB and mouse wireless Microsoft with Win 7 64 bit

    Hello

There could be other messages like mine, but I find it here, with exactly the same problem.

I have a problem with my new Setup: Windows 7 64 bit and a Microsft Wireless Keyboard 6000 v3 and MS Wireless Mouse 6000 v2 (he came as a set).

Now it works perfectly with my Windows XP system. I have now on a new computer, Win 7 64 bit. The mouse and the keyboard are now 'Skip', where they seem to ignore the entry for a second or two from time to time. As a first step, I let Windows 7 load its own drivers for these. After the mouse wheel input strange (no scroll bar on an active window would scroll to the bottom with no way to stop it) I downloaded the Intellipoint for the KB and mouse drivers and disabled the intellipoint Control Panel scroll wheel.

I have changed the batteries, moved the receiver to different USB ports, but nothing helped. I have antivirus running. Wi - Fi KB and mouse works fine on this same machine, in the same USB ports.

    I would appreciate any input.

    Thank you

    Gamma

    Ray French

    Hi gamma,

    Thank you for your message.

What is your make and model of computer?

What are the sounds like interference might be the issue.

Other wireless devices and certain appliances can interfere with wireless KB/mouse.

Is there a wireless router near the receiver for the KB/mouse? This also will cause a microwave oven.

Even if the mouse is located in front of a computer and the receiver is at the back of the computer.
interference of the metal casing of the PC can connect properly.

In order to better clarify, if you move the mouse backward through the office (left to right continuously for a minute) is the stop of pointer or freeze at any time?

If so, I suggest to perform a clean boot to see if a startup program may conflict with the resources of mouse/KB:

WIFI disabled on windows vista and cannot wireless connect to the net, but bluetooth wireless Wi - Fi and fine switch is activated. Have a problem with ISATAP #5 who is incapable of solving that can be bound.

All of a sudden I lost my internet connection wireless and I am unable to return.  May be because recent windows update.  Error messages on the wireless assistant say WLAN offshore or disabled.  I have tried every fix.

In device Manager (under network adapters) shows also that MS ISATAP disabled with "Windows cannot load driver (Code 31).  When I try to update the driver, "Best driver already installed" appears.

Is there a way to FIX?

  • This computer does not have an installed and configured wireless network adapter

Hello. I'm having serious problems with my computer. It's a Dell 1545 Inspion. After having a problem with my HP printer, I contacted HP and was instructed on how to remove and uninstall the printer from my computer. After that I followed this process my computer has never been the same. For example, all of the icons in the start menu had little pictures of records instead of the icon associated with the program. Anyway, after a lot of problems, I decided that I should restore my computer to factory settings using the CD of the operating system supplied with my computer and the instruction booklet on how to do it. Now, the computer cannot connect to wireless internet. I have wireless so I can not on the internet. I get the error "this computer has no network cnfigured and installed wireless card." When before I restored it the computer with the CD of operaiting, there was no problem of wireless connection. Help, please.

    Manjeet

The system detects the card wireless at all?

Hold down the Windows key and press 'R' at the same time. Type "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotes). Check if you can at least see the wireless network card.

Or key Windows press "R", type "ncpa.cpl" (without the quotes) and see if you can see it there.

You can also try to go to the Dell website and lifting your system via the number of Service Tag (XXXXXXX) found either on the roof of your system, or by the series at the rear or bottom tag. Here you can try to download the drivers for WLAN card and install from there.

Just wondering if his work even at this point.

  • Error message: this operation requires an interactive window station while trying to install drivers for Microsoft Life Chat LX-3000 and Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000

Okay, so I bought recently when a helmet (Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000) and a mouse (Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000) wireless, but my laptop Windows Vista Home Premium is having problems with the installation and execution of the drivers for these two devices.

Original title: driver for headset and a wireless mouse will not install correctly

I already had the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000 and had no problems whatsoever doing this job, but I got it for at least a year I guess. I also installed the software that came with the CD (called Microsoft Mouse, even though it says on the CD Intellipoint 7.1) for the mouse and driver online for headphones (called helmet Microsoft) have also downloaded. However, when I plug in the devices, he's trying to find the drivers. Initially, it comes up with a window saying "New hardware found" and has the ability to "locate and install driver software", despite the fact that I already supposed to be installed the drivers through download programs or to use the CD.

In any case, I select the "locate and install driver software" and it says "search Windows Update... «for 30 seconds or so, then said «Installing the driver software...» ».

I then get a message saying "Windows has encountered a problem... etc... This operation requires an interactive window station. If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit their website and check the support section for driver software. »

If I disconnect and reconnect the device, I get the same situation with "new hardware found" and the options for search again...

I tried both devices on another computer (Windows XP) and they manage to set up automatically even without the software provided on the CD or on the website and work perfectly well, however I need them working on my laptop ;)

So I guess the main problem is that I get this message "interactive window station" preventing the drivers to install correctly. I have no idea what this means and have spent a lot of time trying to find them online.

Well, I've resorted to re - install Windows Vista and installed very well both automatically when it is plugged.

Now to reinstall all my programs... fun fun fun...

    Thanks for your help anyway!
