  I want to record music old of an audio cassette to MP3 or similar. I downloaded the Audacity software but don't know if I can actually put up a line of connection of my tape to my Toshiba Satellite A100 player. Is this possible via the microphone connection?   I know, you can not save to your VCR using the monitor and S-video, you can use the port fireware "located right next to the PCMCIA port on the left side of the laptop" with windvd.

  If you want to have XP only, try to boot from a XP disc. You can format the drive HARD whole with XP disc that even Ubuntu is installed. I put t understand why you use another program to format the HARD drive

  Then boot from a XP disc and follow the instructions on the screen. If it doesn't work, it seems to be the material of your player to malfunction.

  The best way I found to do this is to create folders on the USB drive and then use a different folder for each album of the music.
  If you want music in a particular order, change the name of the file to include a 001 at the beginning, for example, 001 - songname.mp3 music
  Do this for all the tracks in the order you want and software of the car detects the number and play music in that order.

  (a) remove any CD from the drive before you turn on or restart the computer.

  (b) enter the BIOS and change the boot hard drive sequence instead. You will need to change if you plan to boot from a CD in the future.

  Note: Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
