Honestly - what you need is not something that can quickly be determined when it comes to .NET Frameworks.  You don't have 1.1 and 4.0?

You have a video device driver or software that uses a version or another driver/software that still uses another version and who knows what else that still uses another version.

You are trying to free up some space?  They are going to earn you a lot too.

Are you trying to make the system more efficient?  Their elimination won't give you much what anyone in this respect either - after all - if an application is not used, to just to the top of the disk space and not only that.

What is your ultimate goal?  Maybe someone can help you achieve this.

  • Too many programs from Start Up

    Hello

Recently, I ran the 'Performance of difficulty' program in Microsoft Windows 7 Home Edition. A message to say he had too many programs starting, at the start of my computer - DO NOT FIXED.

I am aware of that, but I can't find anything from Microsoft saying that each program is intended. I don't want to disable one where it is a criticism. Can someone tell me please what programs are required to start the computer, so that I can turn off then all others.

Then if I do not clear and I start the computer, and then how to activate? I just click on their icon?

    Thank you

  • too many programs in startup

Im searching on why I have too many startup programs with my PC.  I understand 3rd party programs may start with my startup.  Im going to watch the video on how to determine what I can disable.  I understand that I must load the tool down.   is this tool save for down load?

"Too much of" programs start when your computer starts all first is not really the right way to see things.  What you need to do is to decide what programs you need and that you do not.

If you are concerned about 'slow' start, the usual culprits are programs that perform some sort of scan of your computer--which is what takes the time.  These are programs that you really want to keep, such as your antivirus and Windows Update program.  Some antivirus programs are more effective that others insofar as of the start of the scans are involved.

Many programs can be prevented from boot to start Windows using the menu 'options' of the program and by unchecking an item that says something like "Start Skype" when I start Windows (obviously for Skype).

Another thing to do is to click on the Start button, then all programs, then start.  The contents of the startup folder is shortcuts to programs.  If you don't want a program to start, simply delete the shortcut from the startup folder (this will NOT remove the program, you can always start it either from a computer point or its own entry in the start menu > list all programs).

There are other methods that some programs use to automatically start, and that's why 'startup manager' utilities exist.  Some of them (e.g., Autoruns) should be used with caution, so that you do not disable something that should really be started (even if you don't think to do this).

That your specific question, we have no way of knowing which video that you watch or what tool you are referring.  If you want advice on something like that, please provide the URL (web address) you are watching.

You can use these to control which startup programs. Many who install it themselves in

I can't move the mouse over and I tried to go to the Task Manager by pressing ctrl + alt + delete, but once he gets up, he covers Web sites more popping up and I can't stop all applications. • Too many programs listed to display correctly in "start - all programs.

When I 'start' 'All programs' there are programs on the far right of the screen that are not completely.

Right click on the Start button and choose "Open All Users" (or simply open if you have set things so that other users on your computer do not see the same list of "All programs" you do).

Double-click it to open the folder programs.

Create subfolders (File > New > folder) and move the links in them if necessary.

For example, I have 3 different apps that I can use to display files of different types: ACDSee, IrfanView, and QuickViewPlus.  Rather than having 3 entrances separated on my list of all programs, I created a folder named viewers of files and records containing shortcuts to the applications in there.

With Autoruns, you can deselect an item which disables startup, or you can click with the right button on an item, then remove it. If you clear the check box that you can check back for re - activate the element. It is an approach much safer than editing the registry and better than using msconfig.

Another useful feature of the program is that you can click with the right button on an item and select search online to get information about the selected item.

  • What is Microsoft NET Framework programs and I can uninstall to get space, or are they important to the operating system and my pc works?

Microsoft NET Framework programs are indicated with a number in the box sizes when I go to the dialog box to uninstall but I don't know what they are and as they have Microsoft and NET in the titles, I think twice about uninstalling to win space in case they are something important. I have no idea what it is, never use it and if I don't need it would uninstall but I'm not sure I should because it might be important and actually run in the background while I use the pc for other tasks. Someone knows and can explain what are these programs? I appreciate it and appreciate help for an admitted car computer illiterate full below all new novice owner, trying to get the hang of it, but I'm trying! Thank you!

.NET framework components are required by many programs to work. They provide common functions for them.

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Framework

Why do you need to "save space"? Programs do not take a lot of space given the size of modern readers. The values shown in programs and features, are unfortunately often inaccurate.

If you are new to computers, avoid changing the way Windows is set up. It's the surest way to cause you problems. Relax and enjoy using the programs you like instead of worrying about what's going on under the hood.

  • NET Framework Update KB2804577 watch in my list of programs, but also continuous appears in Microsoft Update as downloaded and waiting to be installed.

The update a few months ago... Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 (KB2804577), continues to appear in my list of installed updates. But according to updates from Microsoft, it is downloaded and ready to be installed. He also appeared in my sandbox with automatic updates as ready to be installed. He also continues to appear when I shut down my computer. Any number of times when I tried to leave my computer to install this update when I close down, by means of Microsoft Updates and automatic update. It will simply not go away! Since it puts in my list of programs updated, is it updated? If so, why he continues to show needing to be installed? I run Windows XP. IE8.

Sorry, it took so long to answer. To answer your questions, no he didn't is not updated and that's why he continues to show. This is a common problem with updates of the .NET Framework.

    Follow these steps:

Download it manually here. Click on download and choose NDP20SP2-KB2804577 - x 86 .exe. Install it and then visit Windows Update and check if it shows as a high priority. If it isn't there, you should no longer be disturbed by it.

If it's still there, follow these steps:

Uninstall .NET Framework 2.0 from Add / Remove programs.
Then download the .NET Framework cleanup tool , unzip it, run it, and in the drop-down list box, select 2.0 and clean.
    Reinstall .NET Framework 2.0
Visit Windows Update or Microsoft Update and let it install the rest of the 2.0 updates, including KB2804577.

Check if they install and report.

  • Too many unused programs installed on my computer

I have several versions of Microsoft.net framework and several other programs on my PC, I never use! However, some of them came pre-installed on the PC. How can I tell what programs can I safely uninstall, without causing problems with the PC?

    Hello

Your decision to not change all services was wise. If you have doubts about any piece of software that you think to remove, please answer with the details of this program for more information.

    • Click the Start button
    • Click on Control Panel
    • In Control Panel, open Add/Remove programs

This will display a list of all software installed on your PC. Some may be obvious to you if you need it and some can't. Anything you can say that you certainly shouldn't can be uninstalled from this window. In general, if you are not sure, it will be better to let the Microsoft programs installed. The same applies (but perhaps to a lesser extent) to all programs that can be identified as being associated with the manufacturer of your PC.

Alternatively you could Google every piece of software for more information about this so that you could make a more informed decision.
