G60 - 530CA cool unstable system

my computer hp laptop G60 - 530 it purchased 1 & 1/2 years, Win7 system. With about a month ago, when it was turned on in fresh in the morning it is always unexpected errors on windows startup. Blue screen sometimes even occur, windows restarts itself. But after a few minutes, when the laptop hot, everything is OK.

I try to system recovery from the recovery of HARD drive partition, it did not work. Then I try to system recovery with recovery DVDs, but after all the DVDs were copied on the laptop, recovery software gave an error and stopped, ask me to contact HP support. I have try several times, he always look like that.

Finally, I installed it with a disc OEM WIN 7, win7 active with the product under my laptop. key, it's OK, but the system remains unstable when he started in a cool State. Whenever random errors occur. When it's hot, everything is OK.

What is the problem with my laptop? Can someone help me?

One of the two memory bar was broken. After he was replaced, everything is OK.

I have setup my laptop with recovery disks.

When I carry my Satellite C660-223 somewhere for example wear at home to College in a protective case in my backpack, I sometimes get a window warning flashing upward every 20 seconds or so said system + "warning: a problem with the cooling system has been detected." Please turn the computer off immediately and return it for service. +

This only happens when I transported somewhere and as a first step, that these warnings system flashed only sometimes upwards after I hauled somewhere, but in the last two years, he started to get pretty much whenever I took the laptop somehwere. When the system warnings blink until the computer doesn't feel a little warmer than normal. no danger of overheating, immediately.

I didn't fix it because the problem seems to resolve itself the next time that I carried the computer somewhere. It's a very strange problem where the short-term solution was the same as the cause: as in I would take the laptop somewhere, the warning system flash upwards and I learned that take "for a walk" would fix somehow everything which was the 'problem '. I solved the problem in this way too often so he could be a coincidence.

So for a while it wasn't really a problem because I just didn't take the laptop anywhere. But the warning system has recently start flashing to the top if I wear just the laptop on the floor, and the warning system does not disappear with my method incredibly non-tech-savvy to "go for a walk", which I am sure many here would give something to laugh :).

The obvious answer is that I need to get the service pronto thing, but I'm in the middle of final exams and the situation of tech in my house means I can't leave the laptop away for service for who knows how long when I really need to study.

Responses, I'm hoping to get are ideas as to what actually caused this problem and short-term solutions that are a little better informed that my approach "going for a walk".

I think THAT what is, is that the movement to carry your laptop around in a backpack something within the done cooling system moving out of place causing the evil TI work. I say this because, while writing this thread I was turn the laptop over and over again to get a look at the stickers on the back and the practice that seems to have "solved" the problem of warning system because this window flashes up while he was only a few minutes ago.

It seems so that all component moved his place before been moved back again by the movement to turn the laptop over and over. And I was not even take him for a walk!

    Any help? Thanks in advance.

    Hello

This notification may appear for different reasons.
The alert might appear due to
    (1) cooling system malfunction
    (2) blocked cooling vents or fans
    (3) software question (VAP - added value package or BIOS)

Malfunction of the cooling system, you should contact the service agents at the difficulty.

In case of a blocked vent and fans it s enough to clean the parts using a jet of compressed air.
This allows to get rid of dust inside the cooling module.

If the vents are not blocked and you still see this message, check the application of the service station for updates on your computer. If any are found, download and install.
You can try to uninstall or update the Toshiba value added Package. This package contains a few essential tools and utilities that control the cooling system too.
    Also check BIOS update.

But if you continue to receive this error, your laptop may require repair

  • Computer laptop Toshiba Windows 7 gives a cooling problem system error and advises the immediate stop

    Hello

My laptop Toshiba Satellite L670-BT2N25, running Windows 7 message "System error" on a cooling problem, advising the immediate closure and return for service.  It seems to come on 10 to 20 minutes after coming out of hibernation or restart. Second series of apparitions that seems to follow a windows update that makes me think it's a software problem. The machine is clean, clean physically so not due to dust or poor maintenance.

Pop-up - message is constant and annoying. Machine feels hot anywhere. Never stopped because they say it would make if he got to the hot wire.

I do not play, video or use heavily for long periods... no trend about the programs you are running or use.

    Appreciate any help

I had this happen to me, and is not actually a problem with the cooling fan. There is a problem with Toshiba is going to happen if you have an update waiting in the Toshiba Service Station. Open this program and update everything he tells you. This is what fixed my problem.

    Hello

Yes I know this error message that some people here in the forum reported the same error message and it seems to be a software bug
    The cooling modules are ok.

As far as I know the new recovery system would solve this
However, you should not be afraid that something is wrong with the cooling module system

  • Want J010dx m7: windows will not start until after full recovery of the system with new HARD drive

    Hello world

    I need help here.

My HP envy m7 J010dx works perfectly with my original hard drive (1 TB).

I am preparing a second HDD (NEW 320) as backup.

I took off the Moose HDD (1 TB) and replace it with the NEW HARD drive (320GB) and try to do a full recovery of the system with the HP recovery DVD.

After full system recovery and laptop computer needs to be restarted in order to continue, the laptop keeps restarting on the logo of windows 8.

I think it says device not found Boot. Also a test using the UEFI tool material HP and all pass.

Replacing the NEW HARD drive with the original of the old HARD drive and it start normally.

What can go wrong here in this case? Thank you very much for the help.

    Concerning

    John

OK, I read through the thread and this is my point of view on this based on works including restore process with the user created a recovery (UCRDs) media which the user indicated that they used.

If you just want to jump to the conclusion at the bottom, you can see my opinion. If you want to know 'why' Please read the entire post.

    Model No.: m7-j010dx

    Product #: E0K83UA #ABA

    Ships OS: Windows 8 (64-bit)

Recovery HP part No. Kit: 730336-002 (3 DVDs + extra)

User replaced the HARD drive with a 1 TB hard drive 5400 RPM with HP ProtectSmart hard drive Protection a new hard drive is a Seagate Momentus 7200.4 ST9320423AS 320 GB 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache SATA 3.0 GB / s 2.5 "Notebook internal hard drive.

With the help of UCRDs sent media recovery media (SSRDs):

When the UCRDs are created, only the drivers for the HW operation (this is a critical point, that I will look later) are burned to the user created a recovery media.  Consider this a snapshot of the current HW, the base drivers and software applications.   If you change the HW on your laptop or desktop where the additional device requires a different driver for these features, a few questions you might - recovery process could stop because he can't find the right driver, a blue screen, a lack of start-up or other unstable system.

A few years ago, I had a PC that would not recover because the Blu - ray (ODD) optical disk drive did not work.  I replaced the WEIRD Blu - ray with a generic DVD/CD burner into the new part of Blu - ray is presented.   I got the PC using SSRDs thinking I would put some time and just install the Blu - ray after the PC has been recovered.   The PC recovered and when the new Blu - ray showed I installed the unit and guess what?  All PCs have shown in Device Manager and applications was a generic ODD - no Blu - ray capability and ability to read Blu - ray content in the default HP provided for multimedia applications delivered with the PC.  Applications were there but no Blu - ray capability.

Huh?  It looks that I did not put any time at all.

I inserted the new Blu - ray ODD and distributed recovery with the HP SSRDs.

After recovery, I had all the Blu - ray drivers and applications supported Blu - ray.

The difference between UCRDs and SSRDs:

UCRDs provide a glimpse of what is installed and functional both disks are created.

Version Digest of the player on what is happening with SSRDs to retrieve a PC (before Windows 10):

SSRDs have all the drivers for all the HW and SW qualified for the unit.  There may be several drivers for hard drives, different types/screen resolutions, sides, etc.  Based on the characteristics of the specific laptop / desktop a process is run called "Do / don't.   After entering the recovery SDRD, the Notebook media boots to Recovery Manager.  The first step is a raw copy of all the contents of the disc on a temporary partition.  Following the Do / do not process looks at the characteristics of this specific unit and remove all other drivers and applications not used by this device.  Drivers and the only successful applications are the features supported.   And then, the new operating system and recovery partition is created.   The PC end recovery of cleaning process and restart the laptop / desktop. And, Yes, you guessed it, if you create the user created a recovery media, you only have the drivers for HW devices and applications of HP on the PC at the time.

So, that being said, what could be the cause/solution?

Hard drives can be different enough so that a different driver (not the UCRDs) is necessary for the newly installed HW.

The SSRDs are supported on the new HARD drive installed?

I don't know, I have an office boy, and I have not tried on this model of laptop.

If you have / acquire SSRDs, I recover the laptop with the new installed HARD drive and see if it works.  It may or may not.  I don't know what drives were qualified for this laptop.

If this does not work, the last option is cloning via USB connection (old HARD drive in the PC, new HARD drive connected to a USB 3 via the SATA Adapter (dongle) USB port, install or download software cloning and cloning the old HDD to the new.)   I just did this on the two older Windows 7 computers laptops using a SanDisk Ultra kit.  He has worked on both units.

    Conclusion:

I don't think that the problem is caused from a HARD drive of 1 to a 320 GB HARD drive, as it meets the minimum specs for a complete installation.  I think the problem is related to the use of UCRDs to retrieve and the UCRDs do not have the HARD driver/firmware/application disc.

    But then again, I know.

  • Cool Y510p with removal of dust, good idea?

Hi, I have a Lenovo Y510p No. SLI version and I would like to know if it is nice to cool the system faster using dusting in Lenovo management tool. After playing a game for an hour, I would like to use the dust removal tool to cool more quickly the lenovo.

I mean, is - that bad to use 4 - 5 times a day? Seems that it is simply the fan to spin at maximum speed, nothing risky, but I don't know, I want to make sure it's OK to do that, cause an admin here says it is recomendable to use dusting twice year, and will on the contrary makes extreme (5 - 6 times per day) known.

    Thank you!

It will not damage anything. I've been running fans gpu @ 100% on all my devices of drilling for years with no failures. If you are interested, I can publish the source code of a script that I wrote that runs continuously the dust removal process.

  • Laptop computer G60 does not start

I'm having some trouble starting by G60 Notebook.  The system runs Windows 7, but since it does not start I don't know if the system is a 32-bit or a 64-bit.  What seems to be the case, it's that he's trying to start and simply itself turns off.  For this, this little trick after having tried to boot Windows "normally".   I ran the diagnostic tests for memory and disk and both indicate that memory and disk are in agreement.

I now get a cannot find the BOOTMGR.  I tried to recover the BOOTMGR using the recovery partiion, but what I will meet with the first issue of the computer itself put it off before it can perform the restore.  I do not have the disks for the OS, so if it's the secret I have to order a set.

    Your help is appreciated.

    Hi @LarryN

Thank you for your request, I will do my best to help you.

I understand when you try to start Windows normally, it turns off automatically.  You were able to test the hard drive and memory and all the two passed.

You can also try booting in safe mode. Enter SafeMode (Windows 7)

    Select repair your computer.

If the problem still persists repeat the process above, but select Safe mode with command prompt and follow the instructions to open the system recovery options.

    Again choose command line

Enter the following information to the /rebuildbcd bootrec command prompt and press ENTER.

Once this completed successfully try to start Windows normally.

  • Update of HP Pavilion G60-213EM

    Hello

I own a used HP Pavilion G60-213EM. The system is very slow, and I mean only by commissioning. I think the upgrade of CPU and RAM. My computer has an Intel Celeron Dual Core T1600 @ 1.66 GHz factory and 1 GB of RAM. Planning to upgrade the processor (if possible) for Pentium Dual Core T3500 @ 2.3 Ghz and 4 GB RAM Kingston of IM.

    Running Vista Edition family Basic.

    It will improve my situation?

    Thank you

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.  Processors supported are in Chapter 1, but not all of them will not work in your model.  Card upgrade memory can be found in Chapter 1.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02985882.PDF

Because your model has the Celeron processor, which means it has the Intel GL40 chipset.

Here are the specs of Intel on the GL40:

    http://www.Intel.com/content/www/us/en/chipsets/value-chipsets/mobile-chipset-GL40.html

According to the specifications of the chipset, chipset will support the memory at 800 MHz and processors, so based on that info and the info in the manual, you can install up to the T5900 in your notebook.

Memory... 2 x 2 GB, but I don't know if it's DDR2 or DDR3, so you will need to confirm what type of DDR memory is.

Get the memory at 800 MHz for optimal performance - if DDR2, which would be PC2-6400.

Do all the updates above should make a decent difference in overall performance.

You can get a pretty cheap T5900.

  • preferences iCloud error - no iCloud folder in place

Help!  On a clean installation of El Capitan, the configuration of the system kept crashing and restarting whenever I entered my information to iCloud.  So, I bypassed who, and system installation correctly, but don't let me get to iCloud.

I have actually no iCloud folder in my path of/Users/YOUR-HOME/Library/Application support/iCloud/accounts, so I can't follow the example others give for deleting content accounts.  My Application Support folder has nothing with regard to iCloud, visible or invisible.

Any attempt to do so, either from internet preferences or iCloud preferences gives the error there was a problem with preferences, and nothing happens.

I can connect to iTunes normally.  I created my gmail fine in internet preferences.  It does seem that the iCloud.  As if something prevented the created early in the installation system folder, and now it doesn't work at all.  I tried to create the directory manually and restart, but who gave the same error.

I lost 4 days now, struggling with El Capitan.  I did an upgrade installation, which not only did not work, he has killed all my installs of previous software, moving them to a "recovered" folder, installation as a new user.  I managed to recover all of this, to have an unstable system seriously.  So, I advanced and done the clean install, that took all night downloading the operating system (no matter what I tried, the App Store would not download the installer... just kept thinking from, for hours, so I couldn't make a boot USB drive).

Now, he seems to have installed and seems to be stable and functional, but has locked me in iCloud, which *, because some key information are locked up in there, including all my serial numbers of my installed software...

  • IMovie 10.1.2 Transition issues

Just to let you know, I have an OS X El Capitan MacBook Air 2013 13 inch 10.11.6. My iMovie is version 10.1.2. I was recently working on a slide show with a fairly large amount of open applications. My fan has worked very hard to cool the system, and finally the slideshow became lag. My problem is that the shift has also caused a strange effect where I am unable to drag in transition effects. Rather than insert the transition, iMovie keeps the thumbnail still of the transition. How can I fix it? Any help is appreciated!

It seems that your processor is unable to follow.  I first iMovie then re-open it, preferably with fewer other active applications and you can see that everything is OK again.  It may be too much background things iMovie past that will make them less sensitive.  The solution is just to wait for 10 minutes about before continuing with the installation.

  • irreversible bios update made noisy fan (8710p, 8710w, 8510p, 8510w, fan, F.20, F.0E)

    Hey.

I just want to share my experience with the update of the bios on my computer hp 8710w laptop and talk to HP support. I've updated F.0E to F.20 and after that this fan went wild. In windows 7 it works very well every boots 2 / 3, or more. All fans of time runs fast, no matter what the system load and temperature are. What makes the portable noisy.

I used to use linux and it just fan slow down after spinning up to cool the system. It is really something that you want to have, because it becomes a noisy vacuum cleaner with an excellent machine and quiet.

I have enough evidence to assume that the problem was caused by the update of the bios. First of all, it started exactly after the bios update when nothing else has been changed. Secondly, 5 years ago I had a very similar laptop (8710p) and when I have updated the bios to F.0F, it's the same thing, but I fortunately downgraded the bios and everything was back to normal. In addition, reported others on the internet and these discussion forums.

Now with the update of F.20... There is no way to downgrade. It's embarrassing: HP has released a update this feature breaks... and there is no way back (except the replacement of the card system, which is expensive for laptops out of warranty).

I was the cat and then talk on the phone with HP support. They are not really very close to professional. First, they said that my windows 7 is not officially supported and should I install xp or vista. I have xp installed specially for them, and which consumes a lot of time. Of course, nothing has changed. And they actually all drivers for windows 7...

The best advice of hp support has been trying to install all previous versions of the bios. I reported a failure on each one, then only, they found in the description of the version F.20 could not be downgraded. After reading the forums here for 15 minutes, I knew much more technical support on my laptop and the question, lol.

After talking with me for a time very long (like 3 or 4 hours) and say that I try to restart my machine, or start with the Windows key + b, etc., they said that my laptop is out of warranty, and there is nothing that they can help me with.

I confess that the laptop is out of warranty... but only suffers from the update of the official firmware that cannot be downgraded. Yes, I know I'm supposed to buy a new replacement HP laptop. But... This look bad.

Now, I'll get a replacement bios chip, programmed with the previous version of the bios and soldered to the motherboard...

Hello to the guys at HP support. They are nice people who try to be useful, they don't know anything about their products :-)

Hello programmers to the HP bios... Please... Please be better, please learn that bugs can be corrected.

    Problem solved! :-D

    I downgraded to F.0E
