  I have a laptop G62. Some keys on my keyboard in the right corner no longer works when I push on them.

  As the buttom (House, dollar sign, key F10,...). The other keys always work on my keyboard.

  I think it all started when there was water on my keyboard in the right corner.

  As you can not buy your share of the HP part surfer have you tried the HP parts store.  The party store lists Belgium under Europe, Middle East and Africa.

  You can buy parts of any provider of your choice, but no guarantee of the replacement part would be with the supplier you bought from.

• Keyboard for HP G62 problem

  Earlier today, I bought a HP G62. However, doesn't the alt + f4. Instead of a window, he did something else. It differs depending on the type of window (browser vs. msn and etc...).

  This is what happens when I pressed alt - f4 for an internet window explore. Notice how rather than close the window, it uses another function.

  Hey guys,.

  I bought a laptop, G62, two years ago. It's a great laptop for basic tasks and multimedia.

  However, it has been a while, my keyboard stopped working without reason.

  Once I booted Windows and all of a sudden the sound of high tone appeared and it actually blocks start process, so I had to turn it off. Since then, the keyboard responds that while in the press F1 or F10 for BIOS information and it works inside the black/blue screen of the BIOS information.

  Whenever I try to press a button, it is locked and fill all the spaces with random letter, and it is impossible to stop without having to restart the laptop. Occasionally the noise high height reappears at the start.

  I would like to replace the keyboard with a new one, but I doubt it will help.

  Hey there,

  It's weird that the keyboard works to get into the BIOS, but not anything else. I would first try a hard reset.

  To perform a Hard Eman:

  Shut down the computer by going to the menu start and select shut down. (If you have no display, hold the button for 5 seconds) Unplug the adapter from the laptop. Remove the battery from the bottom of the laptop. There will be a switch/battery eject button. Wait at least 1 minute with all sources of power disconnected. Reinsert the battery and reconnect the power adapter, and then try to turn on the laptop.

  This remove the power of the computer, and then reintroduce, including most of the time corrects problems like this. Let me know how it works for you and it if does not have message returns with all new details.

  Having a problem with my laptop HP G62-340US. The computer will continue to feed on, but the screen does not light, but the caps lock light has a constant slow continuous flashing. The indicator light next to the charging port is orange, as the light next to the wireless button. (There is no NumLock on the keyboard of a light)

  Try to start the machine without the battery and connected to the power adapter. Try to boot the machine with a single chip memory installed (if you have two). Try changing the location of the chip memory if you don't have one. Do a hard reset by removing the battery, power adapter, pressing the power button for 1 minute, reconnect the battery and power adapter, and then try again. If this does not work, you will have a video chip problem that would require a reflow (I know this isn't your model, but it shows you what may be involved):

  Good shops use pistols temperature controlled at worst and stations Infra red reflow for more accurate results.  The video was just to give you an idea what may be wrong.

• Extreme heat (HP G62)

  A few months ago, I bought a variety of G62 series with a processor intel core i3. In the first month, it was working properly and I was very satisfied. Now... not so much.

  When the system is idle, the cpu is 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees fahrenheit). When I have an open game (any game... and with graphics and low resolution) temperatures above 110 degrees Celsius (230 degrees fahrenheit).

  I have this configuration where the laptop is suspended in the air allowing the complete air around it. I have connected it to an external monitor and the keyboard + mouse. Even with this configuration, the portable computer stops and displays a warning that the system was too hot.

  The fan is noisy - always! - and the laptop itself is warm to the touch. How should I do? Thank you

  Intel processor core i3, 4 GB ram and ATi HD graphics card. This baby runs anything the notebook to the calculator really well. But don't use it for something else or it could particles.

  Seriously though I discovered that the cpu-fan bearings are shot, so I'll send for repairs.

  The volume bar that normally appears on the screen when adjusting the volume (i.e. the top to the bottom, put mute) using the volume controls on the keyboard has disappeared. It was working fine a few days ago, I have not the slightest idea what caused him disappear. I use a HP G62-b25SA laptop.

  It is extremely hard to do and even harder to explain how do. You must first get a mental picture of how the key is attached and how to build media bit (I call them the 'bridge') under the key. I just spent an hour doing this Saturday on one last model G62 and it has not been easy.
