Gadgets not working not properly. -My calendar gadget is here, but it seems empty

I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7 and I recently put 3 gadgets on my desk. All were working well, until a few days ago. My calendar gadget does not at all; the icon is there, but it is empty. I closed and put back on the desk and he is still a Virgin.

I have not installed gadgets on my computer; What's there is there when I bought the laptop.
When I right click on the desktop to access the gadget gallery box, there are several gadgets that are displayed. When I scroll up to "recently installed gadgets", nothing comes up. If something should not come up?

I am new to Windows 7. Do I need to install anything? How to solve these problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please use the Microsoft Windows Forum.

Try to restore the default Gadgets in Windows 7

1. open the control panel (in category view), and then click appearance and personalization.

2. click on the "restore the desktop gadgets installed with Windows

3. This will bring to the top of the window of the Gadgets from office with a message indicating "administrator installed gadgets and all the windows have been restored.

4. When finished, simply close the Panel and Desktop Gadgets
Windows.

If this does not work,

Try this:

Press WINDOWS key + R to bring up the Run dialog box.

Copy / paste this line in the Open box.

%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe /showGadgets

(Be sure that this order is entered exactly as shown, including the spaces and characters)

Press OK.

This starts the Gadget component?

If this does not work, open Control Panel, select all Control Panel items.
Click on programs and features to open.
In the task pane (left side) click on Turn Windows Features On or Off.

This window will take a couple of minutes to open, please be patient.

When this window opens, scroll down and make sure that the platform of Windows Gadget is enabled. If it is not checked, place a check in the box, and then select OK.

    Try this... See the website of the manufacturer of the computer. Search and find your model, download the drivers appropriate for your system and peripheral. Restart and try again.

    Hi, I have a sansa fuze 8 GB. Recently I brought some new music, so I happily he imported everything in my music Manager.     If I try to copy into the internal memory of rocket all right, until I get an error message that there is not enough space. I have 9.2 GB of music currently in the library and only 7. Internal memory of something.

    Help, please. I don't think that the SD card can be that some are copied and my computer shows that there is plenty of space.

    H2testw is how you can tell. Looks like you got a twisted to read as 32 GB 2 GB card.

    I use H2testw to test each microSD when it arrives.

    Read the readme.txt file in the folder h2testw, or look at this.

    If you have tried CHKDSK, you should cut your losses and just get a new microSD card.

(Although if I leave the video error for more than a few seconds, then I get an error of the tuner on the other channels until I quit Media Center and bring backup.)

    Maybe my computer is a militant fan of Star Wars?

    If this only happens in a show on a channel and passes every day but others
    shows on the same channel are watchable/recordable, it is possible that a copy
    never flag is set that is manifested by the video display
    error message.

    I am using Vista Ultimate and a connection (cat-5) ethernet to an xbox 360 as a Media Extender (via a Linksys router). I get the error of the video:

    I have a Happauge PVR 150 TV capture card installed, and you want to watch TV and my video files Via the Xbox 360. I can see the guide for lists of TV programs, but not to look at them without getting the message above.  I can also put in place a program to record, display the video thumbnail, but not play. Video files only will play are videos very select few years recorded only where there is.

    My graphics card is an ATI 2900XT - 512 MB of ram, with the latest drivers.

    I've seen a number of discussions on the web that describes the same (or similar) problem, but none of them seem to have no solution.

    I had Norton Internet Security installed and it has since withdrawn because of the firewall. I had thought, it could be a firewall issue, but it is not. I'm now using the Windows Firewall for now.

    I deleted and reinstalled the Xbox as an Extender media several times... no help. I have re-installed the complete drivers for the video capture card, it has not helped either. I checked and double-checked the settings on my router as well.

    The xbox is set for the share on my multimedia computer. The correct files can also be programmed for sharing.

    On the PC in Windows Media Center, I can view the TV programs, record programs etc etc etc all work.

    Any help would be really appreciated!

  • HP Pavilion dv6 keyboard works not properly

    I use a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop running Windows 7 for about a year and a half.  Recently (I can't say exactly when) I noticed that my keyboard does not work properly.  There is nothing huge, but sometimes I have to push a button twice before she will comply, or it will be delayed in its response.  Another thing is that I originally used to have to hold the function key and press the space bar at the same time turn off the light that surrounds the touchpad. Now, I just simply press the function key (not now) and, no matter how many other keys I press on in the meantime, the next time that I press the space bar, the light turns off.  It's both distracting and frustrating because I need to press the space bar to operate normally.

    My drivers are all up to date.  I tried to remove them and reinstall them. I changed a few settings in the Bios, and then reset the default settings, all to nothing does not.  I would appreciate any idea or you guys can offer me solutions.

    Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP Pavilion dv6 and keyboard problems. Here is a link to uninstall the keyboard. Restart the computer after the uninstall, it must be reinstalled automatically.

    Have you tried to take a little air to the keyboard to see if maybe it's dust or debris which initially are intermittent use?

    I have the ez-timetrax software.  It was working fine before, but now when I try to download the punches, it will start to download when it is at the end it just stops.     LR Vertical and Horizontal controls use the focal length and camera metadata from the image file and adjust the image based on its effective focal length.     The image file video YouTube has vertical converging vertical very light, slight clockwise rotation and distortion in light pad. You should be able to correct the image for parallel verticals with small values of Vertical and Rotation adjustment. I suggest using "Activate profile Corrections" (profile tab) to fix the small amount of lens distortion.

    So always questions please post the image file on Dropbox or other filesharing site and I'll take a look. Thank you.
