game freezes

I have a HP new office 'windows vista', sorry I bought it, but during the game bejeweled blitz on Trombinoscope it started to freeze when it will charge between games, after a few seconds, it charges, I also started getting pop ups that I don't understand. said something like throw, but not taken, code 0 gives a line # makes no sense to me. what I can do. This started after buying a new printer just HP wireless and had a technician try to install it on the phone, didn't know what she was doing, laughing and playing while trying to help me, and I didn't understand a word she was saying, so I hung up and got someone else to install it. What can I do on the freezing of the problem and the pop up? Help! should I return my Pc and get a new one since it is a month old?

Well, the status of the printer and your browser problem probably do not concern.  Games on Facebook is generally executed in Flash, and nice-very self-reliant, so that things running on your computer in general do not interfere with them.  Maybe your computer is busy doing something during the game.

I scan your machine for a virus and then try to try a few different games and see if the problems occur with them or just with Bejeweled Blitz.  If you notice the problem on more than just this game, you can be wrong about something else.

With respect to the pop-up that says "Up", it's usually an error message.  If you could tell me what he said exactly as it is written on your screen, I can probably help you understand what is causing it or a way to fix.

Thank you
Kevin

  • Flash on games freezes in the scree full mode__

What is the answer, install? My new gateway laptop windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit computer, has a problem with flash, in full play mode screen it freezes, the only way is to turn the pc and restart, these forced break compromised cannot be good every day? How can I fix it

    Hi Robins7,

    (a) 'My new gateway windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit laptop computer' does that mean? This means that you have two laptops with different pieces? or you have the game software of 32 bit on a 64-bit operating system?

    (b) ' has a problem with flash, in play mode full screen it freezes ' does that mean the game flashes and freezes when you try to play fullscreen?

    (c) is the problem only occurs when you play games?

After the description of the problem, looks like a display driver problem. Please visit the website of the manufacturer of the system, download and install the latest display drivers for Windows 7 to support titles that require a graphics card intensive.

Some devices have drivers you need to install yourself. If you download a driver that is not self-installable, follow the steps in the link given below to update the drivers:

You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

  • Game freeze problem

    Hello

I have recently upgraded to windows 7 32 x from windows xp. The problem I have is that I can't play any games what so ever. I can install and play from 5 to 20 minutes long before hard freeze and be hard rebooted. I have nothing of another bad windows 7 it doesn't happen during the game. The game I tested on are:

    Sims 3 with extension

    Batman Arkham asylum

Call of duty modern warfare 2

My computer has far more card to recommend for all these games and they all have a legal copy. I tried a new installation on windows, all drivers are up-to-date and windows 7 compatible, I tried to stop all non-Microsoft running programs in the back on the ground and also tried with just using a monitor (I have a dual monitor set up)

    Specifications of the computer

    Processor Intel core 2 Q9450

Corsair dominator 1066 mhz 4 GB ram

    2 x 8800GTS 640Mo running in sli

    WIndows 7 32-bit (6.1 build 7600)

    Mattyb66,
If you are not able to make changes to your display settings then you are either not logged on as administrator or there may be a problem with your profile.  I would suggest opening a session with another user.  If you do not have a different user account and then create it and log in and test.

  • All my games freeze (hang) periodically

I just bought a laptop Gateway p-7805u computer comes with windows vista 64-bit. It has a celeron 2 dual-core 2.26 ghz processor, 4 GB ddr3 and a geforce 9800 video card system ram m gts with 1 GB ddr3 video ram. Plug this computer is well beyond what I had to play world of Warcraft.

WoW ran very well the first day. The second day, I installed Warhammer online and has been invited to update my directx. Since then, no program works correctly. I can play either game for about 20 minutes, and then my computer hangs (freeze). When it hangs I can not move the mouse, Alt - Tab on the desktop or even Ctrl-Alt-Del to Task Manager. It is totally insensitive. The only solution is to stop manually the computer and restart.

I tried to stop all windows not required services and start-up operations in msconfig, I tried using the xp emulation (or), I ran a full scan antivirus and disk defragmentation, I even used to the recovery console to put everything back to factory fresh, I loaded a program of monitoring of heat and bought a computer laptop cooling Panel (heat is correct is not the question) and I even took the computer to the Geek Squad at Best buy and they conducted tests of torture on it for hours and did not find any question.

Still, it continues to crash at random times in games. It is not necessarily case sometimes of high volume of charts, and sometimes when I first started playing. It really seems to happen quite randomly, but usually between 20-40 minutes of play.

I suspect it might be a direct x 10 question, since he started only after that I updated directx.

I bought this computer to play games, so the advace some gave me (don't play games) seems ridiculous. Has anyone seen this problem before? I'm completely at the end of my rope.

Thank you to give this some thought.

    Dlaw008,

It's kind of a shot in the water, but have you tried to uninstall both Warhammer and WoW, then reinstall Warhammer without WoW for a day (see if you have any problems) and then install WoW after Warhammer has already updated Directx? Also, I'm not 100% sure, but have you seen if expansion WotLK updated Directx as well?

    Thank you

    Shawn

  • Computing and games freezes

I have a problem with my new installation of windows 7 where I guess he thinks I would RAID. I get this error: Reset device, \Device\RaidPort0, has been published. It causes my games and computer to freeze. It is completely random and the time it is frozen is random. I have 2 hard drives in my computer. But they are not implemented in raid. One is OS and the other is a backup of the files. I checked the bios and flashed to the latest version. I can't seem to stop any help would be good.

Your image Resource Monitor shows the problem that I had in mind. Your system is holding to the memory of the night before and it releases is not memory free . You can force the release by restarting your computer, but often it is not very practical. Another way to force the release of standby memory is available using the RAM (freeware from Microsoft) card:
    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-GB/Sysinternals/ff700229.aspx

Download and install and create a shortcut on your desktop for RAMMap and / or PIN to the taskbar. When you sense the system becomes unresponsive, use Ctrl + Shift + Esc to access the Task Manager. Click the performance tab and the resource monitor button. Click the memory tab and check if free is close to zero, or is equal to zero. If it is, open RAMMap, click on empty on the menu bar and the empty queue. This action restores instantly free memory.

The procedure using RAMMap is an effective workaround, but the real solution lies in the discovery of the source of the problem. Know the source, you may be able to solve the problem by contacting the provider of the software and / or update the software.

The solution lies in the identification of the software which is access to many files, to search for malware or index to facilitate the search of Windows. If you find out which files are accessed unnecessarily you can exclude routine analyses. The first image below illustrates the problem. The second image identifies the folders / files. In the example Microsoft Security Essentials was scan my G drive, which I excluded from future scans.

Investigate what made up the figure of Eve may not be easy. How I discovered what was the cause of this computer has been reached by following the procedure detailed below.

RAMMap open when your Standby figure is too high and click on the file summary tab, click the column heading of Eve to sort the numbers as in the image below to determine the really big held in standby mode files, see the image below. If you click the path heading, you can sort and see what partitions are being accessed. It is important to remember that these files have been consulted since the computer was started. You ask then what program could have access to the file and it really need to? Programs with scheduled scans are potential candidates.

In my case, I found a very large download of Windows 7 that I had used for a repair installation I had not deleted after use. I also found a large number of files on a non-related system partition for backup copies created by Windows backup utility. I decided to see if these have been regularly analyzed by Microsoft Security and them excluded from the analyses. You should also check if you are indexing more than what you need as this will increase the impact of the execution of Windows Search.

  • All games freezing randomly without crashing

When any game it freezes / crashes after a while seemingly random. everything just hangs and forces me to make a discount to zero manually. I tried to reinstall windows and perform a clean boot. None of which worked.

I ran prime95, furmark and chkdsk to confirm that my CPU, GPU and the disks work.

giving to sfc/scannow doesn't hint at something is wrong.

I don't get a "blahblah.exe has stopped responding" either as the whole PC crashes just, nor make a crashdump because I don't get a BSOD.

what I suspect now is that my CPU might be overheating, as I played the same games on this PC before and it's 60 ° C when I'm not playing.

    Intel i5 - 3570K @3. 40 GHz

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670

    corsair vengeance 2 x 4 gigabytes LP

    POWER SUPPLY 750W

EDIT: finally got a minidump BSOD I'll download it file.

Oops - you had already run sfcscannow. Forgotten that when the liquidation of my OP.

Also, I confused the 60 C at idle with the gpu.

The processor is running too hot. 95B is close protection thermal cut off during an i5 3570 and will shorten the service life of the processor.

Mine rarely goes over 65 - 70 c at full load, even with high ambient air temperatures.

60 c at idle is too high for a time slowed down on cpu or gpu. This may indicate poor

    airflow in your case.

Take the side panel turn off your machine and run a fan in the case (or not) and the time

should fall if high temperatures are due to poor circulation of air in the case.

If they do not fall, reapply new thermal paste for the cpu can help, but an aftermarket cooler

would also be a good addition, if you are not already using one.

It is also possible that the speed profile of the fan for the cpu and the gpu are too shallow (assuming that you are not running

the fan to the cpu at 100% all the time), but this cause normally only fan speeds for up and down a lot and should not result in a heat block. When you are not running the cpu at 100% fan, using a fan speed profile steep is recommended with a gaming machine, anyway.

From a fan profile approximately 50 + % and bump the speed a little will it keep cooler processors of the appearance and helps keep the fan accelerates cycling continuously up to 100% and down to a lower speed, as often happens with factory fan speed profiles. A good cooler and a profile of fan speed should keep the processor under the temp that requires 100% fan speed.

"I removed one of my RAM sticks and it seems to solve my problems, I want a little my 8 gigs of RAM.

Have you run memtest on the sticks individually to determine if one is the culprit? Maybe the one you

    deleted?

Are the two poles of a corresponding factory kit, or did you just recently installed the second stick?

If the later, make them two sticks have exactly the same features?

Have you changed your RAM settings in the BIOS, or through a program of OC'ing?

-You can also try to use the other pair of RAM slots to check if one of the slots that you are currently using is failing.

I had a computer that reqularly crashed each month for two years. I think it was a "joke" of a psycho stalker hacker who thought I was her chew toy. Seriously.

The game I tried to play, had been installed and put in place and worked perfectly. I put it side for a while, tried other games and it doesn't open, stalled in the first screen, then wouldn't uninstall, do not recognize me files as the owner, could not remove them, I reinstalled, game, opens the I opened it another way, there are several , but I'm trying to remember that one. Nevertheless, the old files that would not deleate do not recognize me as an owner, even with administrator privileges. All my files have been implemented as the owner. Originally. I don't know how this has changed, but they act like they belong to another computer. It wouldn't surprise me, because often play like his who is manipulated by a hacker. Undercover, I like to build some civ in the race to space, but these civs I turn into a psycho, killing killers constantly my workers. What a coincidence. The killers psycho, as the one who murdered my other computer tirelessly. Some sort, I decided that the only way to get around these problems is not as much a safer computer, but all your info should be stored separately, then when burning theres a problem, the system. Toltally burn and reinstall. All you need is a list of the add ons, updates, tweeks. It's better than continually nasiller, you know? and do not get a response. Same site, different page I saw a recommendation that it is a problem of keylogger. Put happy.

Whenever I called this computer manufacturing darn, they told me to re - installs the system, I felt like - not being very nice - but I think they were right. Burn it to the ground. It makes us not anygood. That's what the installation disc, isn't?
