  I want to say... I paid almost 1000 euros on a laptop computer to play a game with min req?

  I put all the stuff high-performance... then where is the problem?

  Watch high aon back of the graphics card for a switch.  See the image below.

  You should have received a leaflet in the box describing the use of the switch (legacy mode or UEFI).  If your PC is a version 8 HP BIOS then disable secure boot if set. If your PC isn't at the level of the BIOS version 8 and then the switch must be in position inherited.  The brochure should describe the use of the switch.

  The Direct3D is designed by Microsoft to hardware 3D acceleration on the Windows platform. OpenGL is an open standard and is not available in all the graphics drivers!

  So previously I was using Windows Vista Business 32-bit Edition, and I have only just come around Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 32 bit (about 2 days I had this installed on my PC).

  So I decided to exercise the usual charge of steam - and then continued to play cs, but when I started this game would not load up (although the steam said it is open). I found the .exe opened for this game in the process from Task Manager but it has not been opened on my desk.

  I then decided to try to open by and this message appeared: If

  Could not initialize Direct3D.
  Make sure you have at least DirectX 9 .0c installed, have drivers for your
  graphic card and did not disable 3D acceleration in display settings.
  InitializeEngineGraphics failed

  So, after this message is appeared, I decided to investigate the problem - I made sure my drivers are up to date, as a starting point, however, this did not solve anything, I then progressed to see which version of Direct X, I had installed and it turned to be the Version 11.

  Not finding anything while checking these things, I decided to use the Direct of X diagnostic tool - like reccomeded on different sites, I had looked on--as I have appraoched the display settings on the diagnostic tool, I realized that acceleration Direct Draw, Direct 3D acceleration and APG Texture acceleration is not available for me.

  It's very strange, and it feels like upgrading my OS was a bad choice, as now, no games will load - someone help me please!
